HORRIBLECUSTOMERSERVICE… All the time I’ve been coming here for years and it’s gotten incredibly worse with each visit. Sadly this ends my business . First of all I’m constantly waiting for my food. Easily 10 minutes or more and witness other people after me get their food. No apology or explanation for the wait. Not enough people doing their job, when you walk in there’s never a person at the register. You sometimes literally have to flag them down.

Here is the closest JITB to my house. So yes– I go here even more often than I am supposed to for my health. Sometimes you just can’t pass up a free milkshake coupon and then get a burger plus more to go. The food is just the same… never looks as good as the picture but it is what was ordered. The staff may not speak English as a first language. but if you repeat the order usually it is correct. The wait time is just normal. I get it — they take care of the drive throw first. Maybe the order is in the que faster or if you are walk in I know they have you or something. But it is still faster than sit down restaurants and slower than McD that has food already fired. I like the fries better than McD. The curly fries are the best. I used to love the original McD green shamrock shakes– fond memories of being able to have them during Lent when we weren’t able to eat meals on Good Fridays. Now JITB ruins that by making their shakes with whip cream and cherry and NOW McD has to copy them exactly and can’t have them as a Lenten treat anymore(cause it is solids now). Are the burgers good– it’s fast food, good isn’t a word I’d use. Processed calories that tricks my brain into liking it– I would use that terminology. This location just put locks on the doors from the outside recently on the bathrooms. There were only single use rooms before but I guess they have had too many problems. I knew something was up when they used to have 2 picnic benches but removed those– more than likely because of homelessness issues. The parking lot is small– but again– I normally walk here.

THEMOSTINTERESTINGMANINTHEWORLD «JACK!» His passport requires no photograph! He has an uncanny ability to speak without moving his lips. He can speak in German… and Japanese, Chinese, Filipino’s, Samoans, Hawaiians and Americans understand what he is saying! Jack: «Wir machen es nicht, bis Sie es bestellen! « English translation: «We don’t make it till you order it!» Japanese: «Ah so!» Chinese: «Gān bēi!» Hawaiian: «You da man!» Filipino: «Nasaan ang banyo?» Samoan: «Ou te alofa ia te oe.» American: «I’m lovin it!» Val: «Can you check on my order! WE’VEBEENWAITINGFOROURDAMNORDERFOR30MINUTES! …@#%t BAGS!!» His burgers are so good, even Ronald MacDonald likes them. Wendy once had multiple orgasms when she dreamt she was eating a juicy Jack-in-the Box, Buttery Jack Burger. No! Not that Wendy! The King doesn’t like Jack’s sense of humor. His Tropical Smoothies stop mature menopausal women from going street rat crazy! He can eat pounds and pounds of bacon, cheese, sriracha, butter, salt and saturated fats and not get hardening of the arteries. Mosquitoes, werewolves and vampires will not suck his blood because they fear they will die from a heart attack or have a debilitating stroke. He went berserk when a man called him«Junk in the Box.» People call him«The Messiah» when they see his buy one-get-one free coupons in Midweek. I think Jack and not that Dos Equis guy is the most interesting man in the world. Jack’s is my favorite fast food restaurant when I find his Jack-in-the Box buy one get one free coupons in MidWeek. What a deal! His burgers are buttery and(or) greasy and very tasty; and I need a lot of napkins when I eat one of his Sirloin Swiss and Grilled Onion Burger’s. They are pretty damn good but I’m afraid to eat more than one of them artery clogging baby’s, a year. Jack! I don’t care if you snap my arm like a twig! Sometimes I too call you«Junk in the Box!!» Your«We don’t make it till you order it» means I have to wait a long, long time if someone before me puts in a big order. Last Thursday night for instance: We waited 30 minutes to get one Sriracha Burger, a Bacon Ultimate Burger, Curly Fries; two tacos and a couple of drinks. I can see why your slogan isn’t «I’m Lovin it!» Jack-in-the Box can be the slowest drive-thru burger place in town. I’ve never had a drive-thru problem at McDonald’s, Burger King or Wendy’s. Don’t get me wrong, I love Jack’s Breakfast Jack, Meat Lovers Breakfast Burrito, Jumbo Jack Cheeseburger, Curly Fries and absolute love his NY Cheesecake and his tantalizing new creations. I’m not a frequent visitor because just like Jack’s son, I want to eat healthy and be more of a vegetarian. Like Jack’s son says: «Vegetarians are the best.» Oh and on Jack’s slogan! I’m an old guy that can be very impatient. I think he should change his slogan just so people know. My recommended new slogan: «Time is not a factor!»

I’m not sure what happened the other night but when I drove off and ate my taco it wasn’t even hot. I’m not sure if fry it ahead of time and zap it in the mircowave but it was still cold.

I was craving JITB tonight & decided to drive-thru here when I finished work. I love that their drive-thru is open 24hrs(I think all Jacks are) so it works great for me when I finish work @ crazy hours like 1am. I also love JITB because they are like the only fast food business that serves breakfast ANY time. Anyway, I was the only car there. Person taking my order was very friendly, as was the guy at the window. I ordered my normal #27(breakfast Jack) with the hash brown & subbed my drink for a vanilla shake(with whipped cream & cherry, please & thank you!). It takes me about 20mins to drive home from this location & my burger was still hot when I got home. The bacon was a little hard but the delicious melty cheese all over it made up. My hash brown was just warm & a little soggy but I’m really not the pickiest with food when I just finished a crazy shift at work.

This restaurant is right up the street from my house, but I had never been there. At the excellent Unilocal Elite Milkshake Break last week, I was given a swag bag that included a $ 10 Jack Cash card, which was plenty for a combo meal. I figured I’d give this place a try. This is one of the tiniest restaurants in the area, but makes good use of the area it has. I had the #1 combo, cheeseburger and curly fries with an unsweetened iced tea. I was surprised how good the burger was– the bun was so fresh and of good quality, the burger was done to perfection, free from gristle and filler, all the veggies were fresh, and the best was the light zesty and refreshing sauce. The burger was also a good portion size. The curly fries were flavorful and savory. I was given lots of BBQ sauce for dipping– nice flavor too. For my iced tea, I was offered fresh lemons, which was a nice touch and very rare for a fast food place. The dining room was clean, as is the counter area. The workers were all friendly and jovial as they went about their work. They were courteous with all my requests as well. I’ll be going back for sure!

How could you call this place«fast food»??? Last night I ordered 3 breakfast jacks and a large coke. I ended up waiting for almost half an hour. HALFANHOUR. You gotta be kidding! I could have went to an actual restaurant and ordered take out during that time. I come to a «fast food» drive through to get«fast» service, not to sit in my car for half an hour. Are they short handed? Well if you are, go hire someone! Did someone call in sick? Well call someone else to come in!

9:54 a.m. UPDATE Received an email from the district manager to address the poor service I received earlier this morning and to make things right. Now that’s service! Mahalo to Faye! 1-STAR rating Auwe! I stopped in at 5:15 a.m. this morning for a bacon and cheese croissant sandwich, VERYCLEARLY telling the counter girl that I don’t care for sausage sandwiches because they are too salty! I get to work and find that she gave me a sausage croissant sandwich — ugh! Marks against this Jack-in-the-Box: 1. NOT listening to my very clear and specific order. 2. NOT following through with service 3. CLEARLYNOTCARING about my very specific dislike of sausage 4. DON’T CARE attitude and performance How could the counter person get my order wrong when there were no other cars in the drive-thru and it was clearly evident that there wasn’t any line or people in the establishment, in other words it was not busy?!! I won’t be frequenting this Jack-in-the-Box again unless I’m desperate!

Small parking lot but I always use the drive thru so it doesn’t bother me. The employees are really friendly here & never ever mess up my order unlike the the manoa Golden Arches. Drive thru is open 24 hours & I would not hesitate to come here late night.

Had a chicken, bacon, ranch melt thing at this location. It was better than their burger but still not great. I’d almost rather go to that evil Mpire.

I’m not huge on fast-food but do know how to select the healthy options from the menu. Chicken fajita pita is one of them. Also, if you do want to eat breast vs saturated fatty burger you can order the sourdough grilled chicken club. I sometimes have one as a treat but order it «well done». This way the sourdough bread come and bacon come out nice and crispy. OOOH and skip the mayo. Yes there is bacon in this thing but it’s like two skinny strips so I don’t feel crazy guilty afterward. The breast portion is always large and juicy. A fast food joint which gets the chicken breast texture that right, AWESOME!

Well maintained, they have a unisex bathroom for those unexpected emergencies. I like the food variety that they offer when compared to their competition Their Filipino counter help offer the best customer service I’ve ever experienced in a fast food joint. I don’t know what got into me but i tried their special Blueberry muffin oatmeal and it was good Kudos to this Jack in the Box

As far as fast food goes, I think this is one of my favorite. Of course it’s hard to beat the euphemistic familiarity of a double cheeseburger from Mc’D’s but I think food quality is still better here. Curly fries, sourdough jack, breakfast jack… oh and not to mention 24 hour breakfast. 10am is too early to be stopping breakfast for a late sleeping college student like me. Since I’m not reviewing their competition at the moment I’ll get back to my review. In addition to the items I listed above one of my favorite items here is the oreo shake. While I only order it on occasion it is totally worth it! Though sometimes you may want a spoon so you can eat it faster! =] Cheers!

Sometimes after a long night of drinking, dancing, and karaōke my friends and I find ourselves parked outside of their apartment building with several bags full of Jack in the Box. We sit around in the car munching away on our heart-attack-at-age-28 specials(hot, juicy, greasy burgers, potato wedges, fries, sodas, shakes, and breakfast specials have all been present at one time or another) and talk about the nights hijinks or about things that happened years and year ago or about things that have yet to happen. Some nights these are the best times, because of the feeling of tradition that surrounds these late night fast food binges and chats. It’s like we’re back in high school wondering about what graduation and college will be like.(Except now we’re all also consciously trying to prevent from being hung over the next day by hydrating with powerade and sobering up with sodas and food.) Jack in the Box seems to be a very big part of our lives here on Oahu. I have a few friends who’ve moved to the mainland and they mention how they don’t ever see a Jack’s anywhere near them. They miss the occasional sourdough jack/bacon ultimate cheeseburger that we always used to get when we «went off campus» for lunch back in the days. If you’ve ever been to a Jack in the Box this one is pretty much like the others. Late night the wait for your food can take a good 5 – 7 minutes, but hey you’re sitting in your A/C’ed car so you can’t really complain right? Unless you broke the seal and are now desperate for a bathroom… but that’s a problem we’ve all experienced and can relate to right?

One of the many Jack In the Box restaurants dotted throughout Honolulu. I agree that this is just another fast food chain. Although the offerings of breakfast sandwiches and different varieties of burgers are refreshing, it’s the same old song and dance. This location is not really ideal for me, but I try to make my way here for breakfast on some days where I just rush out the door without breakfast. The service is pretty good, although with fast food, you’re just in and out and on with your life. Only thing that differentiates Jack In the Box with the others would be its seasoned curly fries. I would come back just for that. Parking wise, its a small lot, but it is feasible, since I walk from the bus stop over here. Other than that, it’s a good place to eat, although it can be grossly unhealthy. Once in a while is ok. B+

Huge fan of the artery clogging goodness that Jack’s doles out 24-hours. Bacon ultimate cheeseburger was awesome before I slowed down on my fat intake! Same with bacon cheddar potato wedges. Going along with the bacon theme, I’m going to discuss the bacon shake. ITWASTERRIBLE! Surprised how much it did taste like bacon, and that was fun and exciting! But the novelty wore off by sip #2. My advice, go get a bacon shake if you insist on trying it… but bring along 10 friends to split the cost and share the shake. You’ll be stoked on how good it tastes without wanting to puke for a few hours afterwards.

This is usually the spot that I go to for late night munchies after a long day at work because its on the way to the freeway. The late night crew seems to be on it all the time. The food comes out QUICK! Not like the location on Ward Avenue, where you could be waiting up to 30 minutes for 3 or 4 cars in front of you! Just want to say great job so far. Never had a problem at all! 4 star for quick service and accuracy!

It’s fast food. Nothing much to say about it. This location got renovated recently but i don’t think it was vital. The customer flow didn’t change. This is my favorite and most frequently visited Jack in the Box because it seems cleaner and newer and plus it’s convenient and open til 11 if you are a walker like me you can’t always get drive-through. P. S. Kensey is cool. I wish she would talk more!
