Great Dr. Listened and learned about my history and health, then made a solid plan of action. I did not feel rushed and his staff is efficient and friendly.
No long lines in the waiting room and everyone was very professional.

Saved my husband’s life! Dr Nishikawa has excellent instincts. He knew something was very wrong even though lab work was showing merely elevated numbers. Great caring doctor with very good «spidey» sense! He takes very good of our whole family. His staff is great and so very helpful — they have inside scoops on best referrals for the specialists and imaging — get in fast! We are so blessed to have Dr. Nishikawa as our primary care physician for our family.

Dr. Nishikawa is awesome! I’m so happy that he was able to take me on as a patient when he did.
OH and as you can see by the pictures someone posted, his wife keeps the office nicely decorated and always festive!

I recently signed up under Dr. Nishikawa and had my first appointment with him this January 2014. I used to be Kaiser from my past employer, but I’m now HMSA. I went to him based on friends’ recommendations, especially Kuakini employees. I specifically asked people for a good doctor who’s fairly young, friendly, and won’t retire in the next month. I’m young, so I want a doctor who will «grow old with me» (sounds creepy, I know). I don’t want to go through the whole, doctor retired so now I have to find another doctor and transfer care, establish care/​relationship, etc.
The girls at the front were very nice so far. The MA who took my vital signs and gave me a flu shot was nice too. Talked story with me instead of just having an awkward silence.
Dr. Nishikawa was very nice. Very fit and active. Basically talked story with me and made me feel comfortable instead of making it feel like… a doctor’s appointment. haha. So he got to know me, my hobbies, life goals, family, EVERYTHING. Good to have a doctor who knows everything about you. He didn’t make me feel rushed at all like A LOT of doctors do.
Overall, very happy I went with him and his staff.

Dr. Nishikawa is one of the nicest doctors you will ever meet! His office staff is awesome and friendly. The best thing about Dr. Nishikawa is that you know he cares. He’s in the Kuakini Medical Offices, so it’s conveniently away from traffic. Not sure if he’s taking patients, but Dr. Nishikawa is awesome!
