All I can say is wow… What a terrible restaurant. Menu looks great but boy oh boy are looks deceiving. I was there 3 times and NEVER again will I ever. Sandwich was bleak and had nothing in it, I walked out another time because I had to go back to work, and the panini was nasty on my last attempt to much cheese, drowning in butter. The owners wife(short plump woman) is rude and seems like the kind of girl that would be given a highly renovated restaurant only to run it into the ground. Yuck never again! Steer clear

I had high hopes for this place for two reasons. 1) The menu seemed a more unique/eclectic than a typical deli(i.e. turkey, artichoke, onion, tomato, mozzarella, bacon panini. Sounds good, right?) 2) I was getting tired of the Deli Button when I wanted a sandwich fix. Unfortunately, reality did not meet my expectations. It’s primarily an issue of execution and value. The aforementioned panini sounded great on paper, but when I bought one for lunch yesterday… it was utter disappointment. There was an overall lack of substance to the sandwich. Two slices of turkey(the Deli Button puts 1⁄3 lb of turkey on their subs), a couple onion slivers, almost no mozzarella, and one slice of bacon. For $ 7 I expect to get more than this, and I do… elsewhere(Deli Button, Cibo). I do not understand how The Spot expects to stay in business when they’re not even competitive with the other local delis. Honestly, I’ve gone here three times in earnest because of the unique items on the menu. Each time I was disappointed. My hopes have been repeatedly crushed, I won’t be going back.

What we have here is a sorry tale of three hungry bears going to a new«spot» on their lunch break. Papa bear orders a blue burger + fries. Brother bear orders a blue burger + fries. Baby bear orders a mushroom swiss burger. An agonizingly long half hour later Papa bear gets his blue burger + fries, only it resembles nothing close to a blue burger and just has a random assortment of ingredients on it. Papa bear promptly notifies the staff who proclaim the blue burger indeed just has random ingredients on it and that cheddar cheese round har is called blue cheese. Odd answer. Baby bear gets his concoction an hour into this ordeal. He’s so hungry at that point he inhales the thing. Brother bear gets no food, they still cooking that bad boy 60min after his order. :(Had to get my money back and go back to work hungry. In an economy like this what kind of business owner spends all kinds of money on renovation, hires a staff, never trains them, and is no where to be found during a Thursday lunch hour. It just baffles me. The technology company next door doesn’t have many people working there at night for dinner business, but during the lunch hour this deli owner has a gold mine of hungry customers right next to him and from what I’ve heard he’s consistently driving that business 5min down the road to other businesses that make an attempt at serving their customers. 1 star, there is no reason this place should be open.

Have been here the 2nd time, first time was during the opening day. Had a panini which was tasty but a little to much pressed for my taste. The routine in the kitchen was not very organized at this time. Today I had the special spicy chicken sandwich. Taste was good and the order was quickly prepared. Seems like they are improving. Will try their Friday fish fry, burgers and salads next.

I work almost across the street from this place. I watched them remodel the entire place by gutting the building that was there for a very long time. It looks like they put a lot of money into it. I really hoped that it would be a new place for me to go to lunch a few times per week. I went there and ordered a roast beef sandwich on a hard roll. There was almost no meat on it. I am not the type that needs a half pound of beef, but this was really bad. There was maybe two slices on the roll. The same«Spot» has had two or three other delis that couldn’t survive there prior and they had decent food. If they don’t fire the sandwich maker they are in trouble. There also wasn’t any hot food specials. There are so many places up and down that road that have the«Hot Sandwich of the Day» that is ready to go. Who has time to wait for the cook to make you something when they are on lunch. Even ordering the cook to make you something is very limited. I will try it again. Maybe this was just because they are new. If they don’t figure it out soon they will not last.
