Expect high price for low quality, I’ll just say me, my wife and two boys ate each a hamburger, was over 64 dollars, and the food tasted like it was frozen, and seasoned with seasonall, very big disappointment will not be back!

Great location, without the great food… Hamburger bun was really dry and the burger had no real flavor. I was not impressed with being served in a bunch of Styrofoam«to go» containers while dinning in. The chili cheese fries were not edible… terrible burnt taste in the chili. Total bummer for me because I was SO hungry :(

Not amazing at all. Bun was super dry, chili was not good, just a run of the mill kind of place. Was hoping for more of a thoughtful experience. We were also served at a table but our food came in styrofoam containers…

They are very creative and innovative with their menu items. It took me a long time to decide on my 3 items. The 3 items were spectacular. The pulled pork nachos consisted of the greatest concoction ever to be assembled together with buffalo sauce, avocado ranch, bacon, and jalopenos. Next was the American Sushi which is a deep fried hot dog. It totally blew my mind. I topped it off with a fried Oreo. This is the best way that you can ever eat an Oreo. I now have a new favorite restaurant.

I ordered the beer broiled brat and chili cheese fries. When my food arrived it was in two separate containers. The taste of the brat was not to my liking and the chili cheese fries did not have enough chili. It was an enjoyable experience.

Not sure what all the hype is about. Burgers were ok. Only cooked well done, so that alone is disappointing and immediately turns what could have been an OK burger into a dry, bland patty. While the toppings all sound delicious, they were pretty skimpy with them. Most frustrating was the extreme waste. Everything was served in large Styrofoam to-go boxes, even when dining in. I can understand serving everything on disposable plates, but it’s 2015 and there are much less environmentally degrading ways to do so. All cutlery is packaged in a set, so if I want a knife I have to throw away a fork, spoon, salt, pepper, and the plastic wrapper they all came in to get to it. Condiments come in individual packets too. I see having those for to-go orders, but why not keep a handful of larger ketchup and mustard bottles for those eating in? Not rushing back here any time soon, if ever.

So ate at this little hole in main streets wall(seriously you have to know where it is) for the first time the other day. Wow… everyone was friendly, the prices were reasonable, the place was clean, and the«hangover» was delicious… which by the way, is probably the best breakfast burger and fries I’ve ever had. Keep up the good work!

Fries are excellent. The Hangover Fries are disgusting though. Simple food, most are pretty good. Fast service. Fried Oreos are amazing! There’s a bar next door so don’t expect a quiet eat.

I am in love with The Duke, so much love! The mood is extremely casual and has a cool vibe that is reminiscent of one of my favorite spots in SoCal. There’s a television that is always on and the kitchen is usually rockin’ out to something great. I don’t know who picks their playlist, but I like him. The burgers are phenomenal. They are always perfectly seasoned and meet my picky temperature and meat-to-bun ratio expectations. The toppings on the burgers are choice. Pretty much anything you want, you can get… and then you can also get it on fries. My favorite? The Hangover. Whether you’ve hung one on or not(The Boxer & The Barrel is adjacent to The Duke, so you can take care of that situation, if needed), it’s an excellent option that will not disappoint either as a burger or fries. You should know that if you«upgrade» your regular naked fries in your meal(though, you really don’t need to, the fries are a star on their own), you’ll be charged normal full price for the fancy loaded fries. There are plenty of other tasty offerings on the menu, none of which I have tried because the burger is my go-to, but I would put money down that it’s all good. Dessert? Yes please. Their treats are deep fried and, therefore, awesome. They’ll even deep fry anything you bring in for a couple of bucks. Great food, no drama. Love this place!!!

Love the duke! So happy we have a space like this in Houma. They are truly creative with the food. It is a rarity to make a vegetarian happy! The very laid back fun vibe is great.

Was a tourist in town and maybe I am just missing the appeal. The fries were heavily seasoned with a special blend(that had sugar in the mix) strange. Ordered a portebellpw sandwich which was swimming in a soy sauce? Goo. If they had cut out the stem perhaps it could have been edible. I know sometimes cooks don’t understand mushrooms — but it was not cooked correctly and slimy. We ordered pizza fries for the table. The odd seasoning with sugar took over. Maybe this is the place for late nights? Between the screaming Loud 70s show on tv-competing with the loud rock from the open kitchen — along with one of our table never getting order … Slow service even though only one other table was there. Oh heck. I don’t know… Bad day? …Bathroom was clean!

The best burger you will find in Houma. Truly, the owner didn’t miss a beat with the re-opening of this place. Personally, my favorite is the big kahuna. It is a beautifully cooked burger topped with a sweet Polynesian sauce and a juicy pineapple. Fried zebra cake is outstanding. I know, I know; please don’t judge me. How about a fried Oreo cookie? It taste as a simple rendition of a chocolate filled beignet. Check it out. I’m sure you will enjoy it.

We are so happy that it’s reopened. The best place for burgers! Love their breakfast fries. Cost is reasonable. The only odd is their timings.

Oh man, the burgers are good here. I have only been once, and it bordered on 5 stars. A really funky place, a great hipster/hippie vibe in the best way. Several big comfy booths along the wall, some high top tables along the back. A place that is family friendly as well. The service here is really down to earth and fun. An open kitchen with the cooks and servers singing and having fun. My burger was slow coming out, but it is obvious that the kitchen was packed. It came out hot and fresh, which is great. Once I got my food, the servers still came around to see if everything was fine. On to the food. I had a stuffed blue cheese burger. I have had burgers like this before, and they are incredibly difficult to cook correctly. It could come out really under cooked or over cooked, and fall apart at the drop of a hat. This was done a perfect medium and stayed in tacked. Not grease at all, and just wonderfully made. The fries are amazing as well. I will certainly hit this place up again next time I am in town. A great spot downtown.

Opening in November of 2011, This small gem is nestled between The Boxer & The Barrel and Fabregas Music is the new it place in downtown Houma where you can get great delicious fresh tasting food. Chef Matt has mastered the art of Burgers, hand shaping his pattys and then adding a myriad of toppings to please every palate… But there are more than burgers, fried mac n cheese balls, chicken wings, brats, wraps, buffalo fries, fish and chips and yummy desserts. The fries are special here, seasoned up with an unusual mix of salty sweet which pairs well with any of the burgers… choose the classic Duke and add to it or one of their specialties, The Babe(a slab of blue cheese in the middle of the patty and slathered with a homemade buffalo sauce), The Cali(avocado and alfalfa sprout toppings) and The Polynesian(pineapple and awesome homemade polynesian sauce toppings) are my three personal favorites! The atomsphere is casual and yet elegant with private booths and tiffiney style light fixtures and high top tables… The kitchen staff and wait staff never fail to entertain with their impromptu sing alongs to chit chat with first timers and regulars. The food is wonderful! I have been here more times than I can recall and I will continue to return… again and again… and tell them Crazy Re’ sent you!
