A Touch of Class Engraving

I had a knife engraved. I was quoted 5 days and she got it done early, even when they were busy. Great quality even polished the brass for me and gave me a nice box for it. Great customer service. I will definitely go back!

Finding this quaint business in a small shop on Shepherd to do some engraving was the best decision I have made in a long time. They are very professional and did excellent work on a Martini Shaker I brought in. Most places in Houston that engrave, you have to buy their products. Not here. Bring in what you need done and they had it ready for me when they said. And the price was very reasonable. Thanks «A Touch of Class Engraving» for a job well done.

These people are great. I had marble mortar & pestles engraved for my friends when they graduated pharmacy school & not only did A Touch of Class Engraving do an incredible job, but for a great price too. I had called other people around Houston to see if they could engrave marble, and the general response I got was «No» or «by machine only» and I was told that it would take up to 2 weeks and cost some absurd amount. When I went to A Touch of Class, they said they could have it ready for me in 2 or 3 business days for a fantastic price, engraved by hand. Also, they were so polite & professional, which is a huge plus on top of a great service provided. They were perfect. I used them again when I graduated & they did an equally wonderful job.

Tuan is a very nice fellow and truly a master engraver. He and his wife a very service oriented. I saw a brief article about the shop and took it in with me to have a bottle engraved for a friend’s birthday. They had not seen the article so I was pleased to provide them with a copy. I took in an antique silver box for engraving. They could not have been nicer or more helpful. I was in a hurry, but of course I had waited till the last minute, and the nice lady asked when I needed it, and said no problem! The price was right and it looked lovely.

Located in the small courtyard retail area near Westheimer and Shepherd, this place is easy to miss. It is behind the bead shop that is visible from Shepherd, which is adjacent to Torchy’s Tacos. Once I finally located it and walked in I was really impressed with this place. This man offers machine engraving for a multitude of items and also offers HAND engraving!
This trip I brought in a James Avery blank disc charm to be engraved with initials on front and a message on back. I chose the hand engraving for the monogram. He did a quick sketch on a piece of paper of the monogram and it looked fabulous. I can’t believe he could draw it so beautifully so quickly. This was a last minute gift idea, and he had it ready for me in just 24 hours. I picked the necklace up a day later and it looks beautiful! See the pics I posted.
I also brought a bottle of Johnnie Walker that I wanted to have engraved. Spec’s offers this, but I needed a quicker turn around. He said he only needed 2 days, but to my surprise he had it ready in 1 day and I picked it up the same time as the necklace! I have also posted a pic of the liquor bottle.
I highly recommend this place if you have anything at all that needs engraving. This man is truly friendly and hard working.
