This place is great. Only reason I won’t give it 5 stars is because the seating situation is lacking. I like the live music(friday or saturday) and steak night(tuesday) and brunch(sunday). This is a place best for the 30+ crowd as it is not ratchet nor stuck up and is lively. I always run in to my family and friends here and enjoy sharing drinks and lite bites with them. Steak night and brunch will require you get there early or reserve a table if you want to sit and eat. Waxaholics djed the set Sunday and it was THEBESTDJSETEVERINHISTORY!

Cool chill spot. Came here for my cousins bday party. The live band was everything! I don’t know the young guys name who was singing this Saturday, but he was awesome! They have hooka but can only smoke outside, which is cool with me! The crowd is more like 26yr and over. I’m sure we will come back.

Very disappointed in the lack of service that I received today. Arrived there around 12:30 to enjoy Sunday brunch. My husband and I read the reviews and saw the advertisements for brunch and decided to try. However, it was a nightmare. First, we had to wait an hour and a half to find a place to sit. This establishment is extremely small and can get crowded easily. Once we grabbed a table, it was time to eat! Or so we thought… Husband tried to order and was informed that brunch had ended! Keep in mind that it was only 2 pm and their IG says it lasts until 4pm. We saw the«manager» and voiced our concerns but all he could say was«the kitchen had technical difficulties.» However, plenty of tables around us were still receiving food! The only reason I gave two stars was bc of the DJ and the only thing we could order which was the blood orange mimosas. This was a complete waste of time and will not return.

You know how sometimes you just wanna go where everybody knows your name?(insert Cheers Jingle…)? 5015 is that place for me. After a super high intensity cardio interval workout I always find my way here on Tuesday’s for their GLORIOUS Tuesday night Steak Night. You also know how every full moon once in awhile everything that can go wrong will go wrong… even at your favorite spot? Tonight was that night. My appetizer took forever. My salad and steak seemed like they were all but forgotten. My drink was lingering post order. But the reason why they STILL get a high rating from me? Nick, Sha, Ally, and Charles. A restaurant manager, Bar manager, new to location server, and top notch bus man/server assistant. We have a major flood in our city right now. The restaurant had power issues in the beginning, ingredients had to be sought out, staff had new members. The above mentioned people took it upon themselves to fix the shortcomings of people on their teams in varying capacities. I honestly try to minimize my complaints, or contain them at bare minimum. Everything that was an issue… I brought it to Charles, the server assistant bus man. He was at my table like clock work asking what did we need, what was missing, what could he do to help. He also made sure to raise all of my issues to the person who could fix them. Even when my final order wasn’t completed as I requested he made sure that I didn’t leave agitated, he made sure he fixed the person… then fixed me and he was able to salvage what could have been one of my worst experiences here. I adore Tuesday’s at 5015. I love Thursday’s which are burger night even more. If everyone could get on the same accord as the aforementioned people in this message everything would run like a fine tuned machine and no one would be able to ever rate lower than a 5 stars! See ya’ll next week.

This place is a gem. Great ambiance, live Dj spinning music on his turntable, and beautiful people. I was informed that this place was not in the best neighborhood but me being a visitor from Chicago I didn’t feel threatened at all. The food was great I decided on shrimp and grits and a red blood organe mimosa which was also fabulous. Please drop in you won’t be disappointed

This is one of the smaller bars on the east side of Houston. The crowd here tends to be between the ages of about 30 and 50ish. The bartenders are very attentive and the food is absolutely delicious. My favorite item is the white queso. I could put it on everything. The best time to come and avoid a huge crowd is for happy hour. The patios are nice and you’ll get a good seat at the bar. The only downside is the parking. There are adjacent lots on either side but they don’t really have lines and there aren’t too many spots. You can park in the adjacent neighborhood, but be aware of street signs so you don’t get towed.

To begin, let me say that I’m surprised that I have just now thought to write a review for Bar 5015. I’ve come here, off and on, for at least the past 4 – 5 years. While other bars have come and gone, this staple of 3rd Ward remains. I usually come here for two things; drinks and music. What did you think I was going to say? Lol. This is a great spot to chillax on a Sunday afternoon and chat it up with your bartenders and other patrons around the bar about various topics of interest. On a Saturday night, this is a great spot to listen to good music, maybe a live bad, perhaps a DJ, and have a good time dancing. I came here for an event two Sunday’s ago where they had a DJ playing during brunch. There was a chill vibe, yet there were occasions to stand up when your song came on… because DJ was on point. Since I’m vegan, I’m used to being places where there aren’t a lot of vegan options available and this Sunday at Bar 5015 was no different. Knowing someone who knew someone, someone was friendly with one of the chefs and knew he was vegan as well. They were able to make me a fried avocado taco. It was really good. I’m not sure it was $ 10 good, but I guess that’s the premium to pay when you’re vegan. Of course, there is very little I can say bad about Bar 5015. Most of the time, I park on Almeda, down the street. There is usually a cordial crowd, so it’s a great place to go by yourself. There is a patio for those who want to watch the game outside, and there are tv’s inside if you want to watch a game up there as well. Try them out anytime they are open, and you should not be disappointed.

Coworker took me here & raved about their steak special. I blew him off until I went myself. Needless to say I have been thinking about this steak since I left & I can’t wait to get back there to try it out. Drinks. LAWDHAVEMERCY. They are strong. Which is good! In my case not since I had to work the next day. The place is small. I will most def be back for the steak, drinks & a über driver.

Cool spot. Great music whether it’s a DJ or a live band. Free parking. Free admission. Great food. It’s a nice little hole in the wall.

Let me start off by explaining my rating… crowd control is a must! Yes, this place is off the chain with great bands, good drinks, and a nice set up. However, there are just too many people in here on a weekend night to abide by the fire code. Parking is also difficult, but no fault to the owner.

I am a Houston newbie and have been eager to find some unique places to unwind after work. I found 5015 haphazardly while attempting to find another bar on the same street. I knew instantly by all the cars in the parking lot and how crowded the place was that it was going to be a good! One of my girlfriends and I checked it out and to our surprise they had a live band. The band was extremely talented AND easy on the eyes, not a bad combo! The drinks were cheap; two people could easily get drunk off $ 40 or less if you’re a lightweight like me! A couple more drinks and I think I might have been throwing my panties on stage. Lol(only joking!). They covered old school R&B and even some current artists such as Drake and Disclosure. Not too sure though if they always have the same band, this one was called Loveland. They do have a limited food menu although I did not eat there so I cannot vouch for the quality of the food. Great happy hour specials and this delicious frozen rum punch and tasty sangria! Saturday night is when they have the live band and I believe Thursday is live jazz. Great classy place for a night out whether it’s on a date or with friends. The only reason for my 4 star review instead of 5 was this OBNOXIOUS fog machine that blew thick clouds of smoke into the air every ten minutes or so! I also wish the place was a bit larger. Extremely difficult to make your way from one end of the bar to the other because there were so many bodies in there! All in all, a great place and I will be back!

Nice spot for kicking back with your boo or your homies. Music isn’t so loud that you have to yell but loud enough for you to groove to. I only had one drink and it didn’t deliver like I thought it would but since I only have one I can’t say much. It did have a bit of alcohol but the flavoring was off. The band was great. Sound was just right even when sitting outside. The crowd was mature crowd. It fills up quickly. I will definitely be back!

This is a nice laid back, casual spot for the grown and mature. We came on a Sunday evening for a birthday party with a Dallas Cowboys theme during the Cowboys/Saints game that was playing. There’s not much to the parking lot. It’s small and it’s a gravel/dirt lot. When we got there the parking lot was already full so we had to park on the street just a few feet from the parking lot. I think I actually liked that better because it was easy to get out when it was time to leave. It has a nice patio upon walking up the entrance that is great for chilling and smokers. It has a few speakers and a tv to keep the sports folks entertained. The inside is nice with the perfect lighting for a lounge. Not too dark, not too bright. The vibe and the atmosphere is very relaxed for lounging and chit chatting. I think the atmosphere was my favorite feature of the establishment. In regards to the bar, the wine selection was very short. I ordered a few glasses of wine and to me it seems like it’s overprived and you don’t get what you pay for. There are signature cocktails that they have on their menu and I think next time I will stick to those. I’m not a beer drinker the but beer selection was nice and extensive. My boyfriend just ordered his usual Bud Light draft. They also sell some nicks and nacks to satisfy the belly. I was prettty shocked with the bartenders though. They walked past us several times and didn’t ask if we could be helped so I took a star off for that but in the end they ended up being pretty helpful. I’m not a smoker but they do sell nice cigars for those that are into that. Since we were there during the football game, that was the highlight event of the evening so I can’t speak on the music so much. They did play a few tunes during halftime which was r&b and soul and it was enjoyable and went along with the whole ambiance of the place. The bathroom was clean but they didn’t have a full mirror! Blah! Women love to make sure everything is still on point with their outfits so that contributed to the minus star. Overall, it’s a nice little spot and I definitely will return!

Sit and chat is what you will get at this place on a Tuesday night. I literally couldn’t hear the music playing, not because the talking was too loud, but because the music was so low. It’s a nice place with a cool patio, some parking is available, an offers nice streak dinners. I can’t take anything away from this place, but I must admit on a Tuesday it’s not my type. I like to dance, and no one was dancing on that night. Lounges aren’t my type of hype, but that’s just me.

Good environment for happy hours or hanging out with friends, you can be indoors or outdoors. They have selections of drinks and food. Good music, and i was told they have live music. Small parking lot, so if you get there too late you will have to walk a little bit.

I like this little spot. It’s located on Almeda near Southmore across from the Family Dollar. This was my second time going. The crowd is 30’s and up. I’ve never ordered any food here, but from what I’ve seen it looked delicious. Theres an indoor bar area and cocktail tables, an indoor patio, and an outdoor patio in the front. The parking lot isn’t all that great though it’s a dirt lot so if you have on heels watch your step. I would definitely return again.

Live music. Great drinks. Laid back crowd. Perfect! Enjoyed my Saturday evening here and will definitely be back when I’m in town and feeling grown & sexy! You’ll definitely need to get there early because the parking lot is smaller than the actual building and BOTH fill up pretty quickly!

So much potential!!! I remember passing this place up one night trying to find another lounge in the area and the place was packed. I was anticipating the same results on my intentional visit here, but was shocked. Granted, I know that a weekday doesn’t keep people out past 12, but you also got to have something to keep the people out past 12. I suspect that B5015 is probably serving it’s purpose as a quaint bar with local patrons who enjoy some of their international bottled beverages. But come on – what does a girl gotta do to get a Corona n lime??? Was kind of disappointed that they’d carry Bud and Miller, but no love for Corona??? Digressing and on to the next point. I contacted the business via Facebook and asked them about their Thursday night spotlight, which was the live band that performs from 8 – 11. We missed all that, but I was expecting a dj afterwards to shake something. No. I guess other people thought the same thing or had work in the morning because the place was dead before 12. Advantage – we were able to park next to the building(I cannot fathom how people parked on a packed night). There were a few coupled patrons still enjoying the inside and outside of the place, but very sparse crowd. Since we were already there, we decided to get a drink and enjoy the midnight air on the patio. Music was a bit strange, Not elevator nor r&b. An international flavor, Didn’t hear anything I recognized until we sat outside to enjoy our drinks. Patio is pretty spacious and has a couch which is right under the speakers, so you cannot hear a thing, but it was good to just sit outside at this point. I could see myself here with a date but not with a group. Inside is extremely small, so dancing? here? Somebody will get stepped on! It’s definitely a mature crowd venue for drinking and convo. I come back again one day soon on a weekend night and compare my experiences, but for now, I rate it as ok.

This was my 2nd stop on a night out on the town. Have to say I really liked this place for my 1st try. They have an awesome patio that I could sit on for hours on end. The music was good & at the right levels. Full bar and a good selection of beer on tap. While there I tried a pear martini which was pretty good. Loved the fact the crowd was more on the mature end. The vibe was very chilled out. Will be back for sure.
