I went to Chatters Café for Sunday brunch and the food and service were all very good! My waitresses name was Angela and she was very pleasant with and was very attentive.

Popping into The Kitchen at Dunlavy on a Saturday morning with a large group of gals — big mistake. Quickly moving the entourage over to Chatter’s? Big win! Not only was there plenty of self parking, seating, and brunch served til 3, we had access to their wifi which was much needed during this gal pal«brunch meeting.» The brunch menu has a variety of omelets, burgers, juevos rancheros, wraps and the like. The Greek omelete with feta and gyro meat hit the spot and was a large portion at that.(Thank goodness for Saturday morning workout sessions!) Chatter’s definitely isn’t one of Houston’s best brunches, but they cover the basics — mimosas, bloody marys, no-frills bites, and casual environment — for an affordable price. I’ll have to go back for lunch, as one of my best friends loves their artichoke misto. And as a plus, they deliver through Unilocal Eat24! Cheers to not having to leave your couch.

This review is more for the TOGO than Dine IN. I have dined in a few times and the service wasn’t terrible but it was REALLY slow. I work right next to Chatter’s so ordering to go food and walking to pick it up is really convenient. I really enjoy their salads and hummus. I’ve tried the mediterranean salad, pacific rim salad and Salmon Nicoise salad — all were great. I normally get the ‘Petite’ size and it’s plenty.

This was an okay restaurant. The service was good and the menu was huge. I went with the brunch staple of eggs Benedict with salmon. The hollandaise sauce was a little too heavy for my taste. The carafe of mimosas was a bit overpriced and could have been less. Next time I’m In Houston I will try this place again and get something different.

Food and service really bad — food all seemed like it came from frozen food section. Service was not good — waitress was just not polite or attentive. Won’t return.

Love this quaint location. Not a huge turkey burger fan, but how they make it is to die for! So much flavor with every bite. Also the portions are a good side. I typically split the turkey burger with my bf and still leave very satisfied!

Ehhh… Tomato Basil not red it’s brown and not tomatoey. Rice was very bland. Lasagna was okay. Short Ribs on menu, however they don’t have it. No lemons for calamari. Would I recommend … No

Decent atmosphere, service is great and the food is tasty. Large menu offers many selections. The place is a bit pricey, but worth a visit. Bottom line, try the brunch menu, it’s worth a visit.

Always a quick and pleasant lunch at Chatters. Super close and easy when spending the day at the United Way!

I’ve always waffled on whether I liked Chatters or not. The food can be good, the service can be good. But sometimes they can be bad too. My last visit, my first back for over 2 years was inspired by a craving for a Cuba sandwich close to home. Overall the Cuba sandwich was good. It was nothing spectacular and it is what I would expect from your typical Chatters style restaurant. Well worth the price you pay for it. What inspired me to finally write my review is the horrible service. It’s never been what I would consider exemplary. On occasion I would be wanting a refill or my check for a bit too long. This last experience is the inspiration for my review. My entire lunch experience took a little under two hours. The restaurant had about 4 – 6 tables seated and two waitresses. So not really that busy. I placed my order, and waited. I wasn’t thinking too much about time as I was talking on my phone for most of the wait. Yeah I was that guy. Eventually the waitress came around and said«hey sorry, you order never made it to the kitchen». She was profusely appologetic and offer me a free tea/soda/lemonade etc. I said a tea would be great. She left and I waited. And I waited. And finally 15 minutes passed and my meal came out. At that point I was still is a calm no worries kind of mentality although in my head I was thinking. Why bother trying to make it right when you aren’t going to follow through. I finished half of my sandwich before she made another pass to drop off my complimentary coke! At that point, I was not in the mood and just wanted to gtfo. Once I finished eating I basically have her the death stare for 5 minutes waiting to get my check. The bus boy finally came around and he fixed me up with a nice glass of water and my check. This was one of those times that the bus boy was the primary point of service and I seriously considered tipping him directly. Overall, Chatters isn’t a bad restaurant, but it’s not a place I would say«oh yeah, I’m feeling like Chatters tonight!» And honestly, the weak impression they left me with when they gave good service isn’t enough to make me to ever want to go back again.

Chatters is a solid average. Food is good but not great, service is decent, and décor is normal. I wouldn’t go out of my way to come here but it’s well priced for what you get if you’re hungry and in the area.

Came here on a Tuesday night with some friends. We say outside because the weather was great. The seating outside is pretty nice. We ordered hummus, zucchini fritters, and gyro plate. The gyro plate came with a rather bland and unappetizing side salad. There was no effort to make it special. The gyro plate itself was pretty good and had enough food on it for 2 people to share. The French fries which were included were rather soft and not fried long enough. The zucchini fritters were good. However, it is pretty hard to mess up on deep fried anything. The hummus tasted fantastic and was priced well and included a plentiful portion. My only complaint was that it had a runny consistency. I prefer my hummus thicker. The service was good but the food mediocre.

Came hero on a quiet Tuesday night with some friends for dinner… cute little eatery in Heights that we’ve had our eye on trying. We decided to sit outside on the patio because the weather was just amazing. Quick look at the menu and I noticed immediate that it ambitiously offers American, Greek, Italian and Asian cuisines…***red flags for me*** Server warned us to stay away from the burgers as he felt they were super dry and pointed out some of his favorite menu items. We order the hummus, zuchinni fritters, gyro plate and beef stir-fry. Greek side salads that came with meals were wilted and tasted like they came out of a bag. Hummus was a little runny but my favorite part of the meal. Everything else was just ‘meh’…disappointing as there’s so many other GRRAT places to eat in the area…

Just finished with lunch at Chatters for the first time, and it was the best! I ordered from the brunch menu and the omelet was delicious. My boyfriend got a burger and he said it was the best one he’s had in a long time. The fries were also super yummy! But most of all I just loved the service! Our waitress was so great, Nelly I think her name was, and our waters and coffees were always full. The place itself is so cute and quaint. I was jamming to the music the whole time and there is a great patio and plenty of room. So happy to have found this lovely place!

Great place! Love the chicken salad and sweet potato fries. Everything is very fresh and excellent. They also have a wrap around patio and great place to sit on nice days. This last visit I ordered the burger and it was juicy and flavorful.

The food is pretty good and they deliver. Sometimes they get the order wrong but they resolve the issues. I will definitely order from them again. Veggie burger is really good!

It’s been a while since I’ve been to Chatters. I was looking for a place to have a business lunch AND sit outside. I remembered that Chatters had the outside seating that would be perfect. And it was. My lunch partner had the Cuban Sandwich which he managed to wolf down in nothing flat. I originally ordered the Turkey Cobb Wrap because I thought it had grilled turkey in it. However, the waitress, Veronica, had her stuff together and came back to tell me that the turkey in the wrap was cold. So, I had the Chicken Cobb Salad… excellent choice! The only downside? Didn’t have room for dessert.

Food and service were great and I love the atmosphere. Definitely give this place a try if you’re in the mood for Mediterranean food. My meal filled me up enough to not make it to the desert course but I would look forward to it.

Met several coworkers for lunch this week. At 11:30a, the place was almost empty. Food took way too long to arrive and service was poor. Waited for refill on water for over 10 mins, and the server wouldn’t ever walk by. Food was average. Ordered a gyro salad. Meat was dry and quantity was small. Bill included gratuity, which is probably why the server didn’t care to give better service. No wonder this place is having to promote on to gain new customers. It’s a shame because the location is great and the place has character. With better food quality and service Chatters has potential to be a solid dining choice.
