First time here. The crêpe brûlée is very good. Free coffee refill. Good atmosphere. I’ll come again.

This place is my go-to study spot! It’s open late, which is perfect for someone like me who works full time & then has night classes 4 days a week. I’ve had the crepes a couple of times– always delicious. I started out getting a vanilla latte, and then on one hot Houston day, I decided to order an iced vanilla latte. The super friendly cashier suggested I try the iced caramel latte instead(said it was his fav, and he promised i’d like it) so I did, and it was oh so delicious. Last semester I came here at least once a week to get some studying in. The atmosphere is great, and although I usually listen to my own music, they always have a good playlist on! Pros: –Yummy crepes –Yummy coffee –Friendly staff –Atmosphere –Lots of seating –Free WiFi –Open late Cons: –My laptop does not connect to the WiFi very well. My phone isn’t terrible, so there’s a chance that it could be an issue with my laptop, not the place itself.

My new favorite breakfast/brunch hangout. The crepes are to die for– whether savory or sweet. There is something for everyone and you can build your own. I can’t wait to try the tomato bisque soup and some gelato.

My boyfriend and I used to go here all the time, it was on our regular dinner circuit. But the crepes keep getting thicker and thicker so we really don’t go much anymore. They are almost like thin pancakes, and they don’t seem to cook them on both sides, so they are very thick and dough-y. Sometimes I ask for mine extra cooked, but they come out exactly like my boyfriend’s. The staff should be trained on how to really make French-style crepes — these have barely anything in common with the ones you get on the streets in Paris. Also, the service here is very slow sometimes, even when it is almost empty. The other night there were no other orders in front of us, but it took almost 20 minutes for our two simple crepes to come out. They said it was slow because they were cooking mine longer, but it came out looking exactly the same as my boyfriends… exactly the same! This is not uncommon, in our experience. We will continue to go here once in a while, but now when we want really good crepes, we go to Sweet Paris where they are perfect every single time.

I am SOOOOOOTHRILLED to find such a scrumptious and affordable spot with so many of my favorite foods(nutella crepes, savory crepes, gelato, café au lait) all under ONE roof!!! Did I mention this is affordable breakfast? Like, you can get a plate of food and a coffee for under $ 10! The décor inside is adorable with all sorts of different seating options from small tables, couches, a bar, to a large table in the back. The staff is quality and attentive as well. I would recommend Coco’s as a study spot, a casual date place, or a good place to take your parents when they come to town for breakfast. Actually, I take back everything I said above — Coco’s stays busy already and the more good reviews means the more people that will most likely go… so forget everything I said so there is still room for me. :)

Great coffee but the crêpe and waffle we ordered were both cold. They weren’t very busy so we expected everything to be cooked well, a little disappointing but we will be back for the coffee.

Cozy atmosphere. Nice staff. Good crepes. I’d be back. Not a full five stars because I have an extremely high bar for crepes.

I had been looking forward to trying this place for a long time. But I have to say, I wasn’t that impressed. I convinced the BF to get a sweet crêpe, while I got a savory one so that we could both try the varieties. We got a savory crêpe with caramelized onions, mushrooms and cream cheese. The first two bites were great! But as we kept eating, I noticed the cream cheese was all lumped at the front. The back had absolutely no cream cheese(it didn’t just melt, it was just not there)! And the onions and mushrooms were separated by side, instead of mixed! Like half had mushrooms and half had onions… I can’t remember which sweet crêpe we got, but I don’t remember it being anything special. The service was also very slow. The place was pretty empty, yet it took over 30 minutes to get our crepes! We also ordered a couple of drinks and it took them 15 minutes to get us those. It’s a great concept, so maybe we just caught them on a bad day, but I was pretty bummed.

If you know me you know I love having«just a little something sweet» every once in a while. Coco’s crepes fixes my sweet tooth cravings every time. Whether is is a scoop of their oh so creamy and delicious gelato, their yummy delicious desserts or my personal fave a perfectly light a fluffy gooey filled crêpe I always find just the dessert I am looking for. Now Coco’s doesn’t only do desserts. They also have a whole menu of savory foods as well. They make delicious soups and sandwiches as well as savory crepes. I prefer the sweet crepes but I think this is just a matter of opinion. They also do breakfast crepes. They open early at 7 making them a great place for a breakfast on the run that isn’t fast food. Coco’s offers a full coffee bar menu as well as little bottles of wine, juice, etc.

I do think it’s a little pricy here, but they have a huge selection of savory and sweet crepes, desserts, gelato, coffee, and tea. It’s a nice place to study or maybe take a date. The guy at the front was really nice, but last time I was here there was a lady who wasn’t quite as friendly. Overall, I like it. I would definitely come back to Coco’s. Oh, they also have alcohol!

DAMNED… it was ICY cold inside !! We decided to go outside for having our breakfast. We ordered a café latte(3.65 dollar) and a macchiato(4.70 dollar). Café latte was fine, but the macchiato… too sweet to drink it ! Nevertheless, maybe it was a mistake, because I just remark at the receipt ‘Moroccan cortado add caramel’. My husband had the strawberry cheesecake crêpe(7.50 dollar) which was good. I had the cream brulee crêpe(5.95 dollar). For being honest: the first 2 bites were fine, but after that… the yellow cream made it horrible(sorry). Free WIFI available, that’s good :)

I was looking for a nice place to study and to have breakfast this was the perfect place. I got a cappuccino(which was huge!) And a pannini. The pannini was very very good and so is the coffee. There was plenty of room to study and very helpful staff. Abbey was very sweet! Will definitely be back

My husband and I both had Coco’s crêpe: a warm crêpe with strawberries inside, tablespoon of whipped cream and topped with chocolate and caramel sauce. It was DELICIOUS. We got one each, sans ice cream. Filling but not over the top in richness. We wanted to eat there but not dilly dally. We were helped immediately, received crepes and left within 15 minutes. Loved the staff! Very helpful and informative. It isn’t a hole-in-the-wall dive place like my Austin crêpe place– but it suited my craving. Clean facilities yet still feels cozy. All in all a great experience and I will return.

Well they use to make the crepes, now they pull them out of the fridge pre-made. The crepes now come to your table either cold or slightly warm. An employee told me they can’t warm them up after they are made and blamed the temperature on the six pieces of bananas they put in it. This is what the original Cocos did and the reason it’s high rating went down. The other location can probably risk it, but I doubt this one can. I guess I could pour my hot tea on the crêpe to get it warm, but who the hell knows where that is…

Happy to have a crêpe place on Washington Avenue. I came here around 1 p.m. on a Sunday with my girlfriend. We ordered breakfast crêpes, as well as the Skinny Mini smoothie. We also saw a sign at the front register that said if we checked in on Unilocal,we’d get a free surprise treat! We checked in and received a free scoop of gelato. We have had better tasting crêpes in Houston(Sweet Paris in Rice Village District), but for the value, this place is great. The crêpe itself was a bit too chewy and didn’t have the taste I expected, but it was still good. The smoothie, on the other hand, tasted amazing, as well as the gelato. We will definitely be coming back. Pros: –Value –Private parking lot –Free Wi-Fi –If you check in on Unilocal, you’ll get a free surprise treat(scoop of gelato worth $ 2.95) –Beautiful outdoor patio Cons: –None

I can’t believe I’ve never been here before! I’m in LOVE with this cute establishment! I’m honestly wishing I had found this dessert place months ago! I took a really good friend out for her birthday and when we were looking for a dessert place, CoCo’s was the first one that showed up on Unilocal. We decided to go because they also open late and we were looking for a place other than House of Pies. We both have never been here before and we both love crepes, so we thought why not. There’s always a first for everything! The atmosphere as well as the interior is spot on. Reminds me of a relaxing, yet sophisticated place to just hang out and grab a bite or two. Spacious and lots of seating. There’s even a patio outside for you to enjoy the great weather. Something that I always look for is how good of a lighting a coffee/dessert place will have and this place was perfect. Most places that I’m always in has dim lighting and is a bit difficult to study, or enjoy your times there. Speaking of studying, there is free WiFi. When you first walk in, you either notice that yummy gelato, or the huge menu. For my experience, the first thing I saw was the yummy looking gelato! I noticed they also offered a deal where if you checked in, you very a free«coco surprise». Turns out the gelato I was eyeing was a free scoop of my choice of gelato. Score! My friend and I decided on coconut and let me tell you, BESTCHOICEEVER. On the menu, there’s just so much to choose from, ranging from sweet to savory crepes, Panini’s, coffees, make your own waffle or crêpe, gelato and many more. It was so overwhelming because everything just looked so darn good! We ended up with creating our own crêpe and waffle. For myself, I created my own crêpe. I choose nutella, strawberry, banana and chocolate sauce. They give you 2 ingredients and 1 sauce for $ 5 something and $ 1.5 for extra ingredients. I honestly didn’t mind paying the extra price since I was firm on my crêpe ingredients and it sounded way to good to pass up. As for my friend, she got a create your own waffle with raspberries, strawberries, and cinnamon butter sauce. We also ordered a Café Mocha white to share. Everything was made to order and when we got our food, I couldn’t believe how delicious it was. I was really surprised on how the coffee was. I’m a huge coffee person, so I’ll always have something to say about a good or bad coffee. And this coffee was surprisingly good. Staff is very friendly is so helpful. I wanna come back and try everything on the menu. My first time wasn’t good enough. I want to try all the coffee, sweet and savory crepes and Panini’s… pretty much everything! So glad I found this place.

Husband decided to surprise me so we came here for breakfast on a Saturday morning. Their menu is quite extensive but we don’t eat onion and garlic and all the sauces for their savory crepes are pesto based so we opted for their sweet crepes. I ended up getting their Crêpe Suzzette a la Mode and their signature Crêpe. It’s pretty decent sized and ranges from around $ 6 to $ 8 depending on the Crêpe. They were delicious though I thought that the brown sugar and lemon curd(?) In the Suzzette wasn’t completely even but they weren’t too sweet, which is always a plus. The signature Crêpe was also good and the strawberries plenty. My only issue was how the fruit was sour, but when are strawberries in the states ever sweet? Haha… A regular hot coffee and iced Chai latte were ordered on the side. The Chai also wasn’t too sweet(or maybe my Crêpe was comparably sweeter) but it wasn’t amazing, either. However, crepes were never that filling to me so I was still a little hungry. Good thing though: if you check in on Unilocal, you get a free Gelato so that was what we did. I got the pistachio and it was deliciously creamy. It was a good start to the day! The dude behind the counter was nice and remembered us after we finished our crepes abs wanted our Gelato so I didn’t have to pull it my phone with the Unilocal app. The food was good and the drinks decent. Seating was plenty with free wifi and an open atmosphere. They had a steady stream of customers as well even though we got there at around 9:30 am. If I’m in the area and in need of a Crêpe fix, I’ll definitely return!
