I got Pot Roast Melt and my friend got Club Sandwich. They definitely fill you up. However, pot roast melt was greasy & oily. I tried to avoid oily stuff as much as possible so I thought Pot Roast Melt would be a safe choice, at least they don’t fry stuff. But I was wrong. The only reason why I’d prefer it over the club sandwich with turkey breast my friend had is because mine is served hot. But I wouldn’t order it again. Service was decent, nice lady — food was served pretty quickly. This is the only restaurant that’s open at 2 in the morning so we gave it a shot. Wouldn’t go here if other restaurants were open at the time.

We had an early start to our day today. Waking up at 5:30 am to get my sister to the airport by 8am was very hard because we hated to see her go. On top of that driving all over to make these appointments on time was crucial. So we decided to have breakfast and give Denny’s another try. We went to this location near the memorial city mall because it was closer to where we were. I didn’t know what to expect really. but since we had a horrible experience at the Denny’s near the Katy mall, I was being a B”&$h for the lack of better words and the waitress noticed right away & was on it. She took care of us brought our food out in a timely manor. Refilled our drinks without us asking. I’m sure the reason she wasn’t talking with us as much was because she was afraid I was going to go off or something and maybe because upon entry I was snapping pictures for Unilocal lol. Or maybe they were trying to figure out who I was and why was I taking so many pictures. Maybe because I seemed irritated/aggravated I get it. But over all the food was good it’s in a plaza right off the feeder road across from the Memorial city mall. It’s in a great location. Would I go back to this Denny’s? Yes Would I refer this Denny’s? Yes I hope this review was helpful have a gr8 day!

The servers are nice and attentive but this place smells like old and mildew when we walked in and right after we were served I seen a roach crawling on the wall and immediately called the server and he took care of it. We were given a 50% discount on our receipt for the inconvenience but that doesn’t change the fact that we ended up getting sick and my one year old ended up throwing up that night and was so sick. I don’t think I could go to this location again. who knows what kind of infestation they have in the kitchen.

The waiter was really friendly and made sure we had what we needed. He also checked back a couple times to make sure we were okay. The food came out on time and we were seated quickly. Good breakfast place and I enjoy the orange juice.

Tiny roach crawling on the seat back of my booth. The waitress killed it and wiped it up with a napkin. She was apologetic. Said the exterminator was due for a visit.

I having breakfast this morning. First this place has no idea how to run this Resturant. First when we sat down the told us that they don’t have enough cooks so the food is going to take 20 minutes. 20 minutes later we are still waiting on our food. But only the pancakes only because the eggs are not ready. Then again 10 minutes later our gods came but is missing items in it and my sons plate didn’t come because we are told that it takes longer than the eggs. Not only no cooks and the don’t know how to manage this place. The manager seating the customers and the kitchen is running on it own. Suck Resturant I will never eat hear again.

The people that work here are lazy, rude, and apathetic. We walked in and were ignored for several minutes until I asked if we should seat ourselves. We then sat for 15 minutes while a waitress walked by us several times and ignored us.

It is what it is. An old ridiculously huge chain of American diners. You know what to expect and if you are craving their brand of greasy spoon for whatever reason, it can hit the spot. I went for a traditional grand slam w/scrambled eggs(perfect), hash browns(ok, albeit a little under done in the middle for my taste and a little stale-ish on the crispy bits that are usually my favorite part), a biscuit(ummmm YES. How is it that Denny’s, of all places, has such a perfectly made country type biscuit?!) and bacon(the husband had that, I’m a vegetarian, and he said that it wasn’t crispy enough). They charge $.50 for a side of salsa that was the equivalent in size to two ketchup packets worth of salsa in a little ramekin. That seemed ridiculous to me but, meh. I was disappointed to see that their orange juice isn’t freshly made and is from concentrate out of a machine. I’ve been clueless all these years. Oh well. It still tastes pretty good and they have *great* and always fresh coffee. I don’t know that I’ll be back on purpose anytime soon but I won’t balk at the idea if someone suggests it.

Went to this Denny’s twice this month waited ten minutes and no one came to take our drink orders or to greet us. Worst service ever! Will not go back.

I’m not expecting much from Dennys, but the service is deplorable, food was cold, no sugars available, appetizers were brought to the table at the same time as the main course even though they were ordered way before.

Went here for lunch randomly. While mostly empty, the waiter was extremely friendly and the food fresh and quick! I recommend the French Toast slam — with a side of pancake puppies!

Great for breakfast obviously. That’s really the only time I usually come to Denny’s, but overall a good restaurant :)

Love them. Whenever I got coupons from Sunday paper, I will use them at this location. They will always honor them for my to-go order. They are also very efficient with the food. My usual order is Chicken Fried Steak and Meat lover Omelette. It takes less than 15 minutes for me to get the order. I am so impressed with the wait time. The folks are very friendly and polite. Unlike other places, this restaurant always gives me napkins and utensils without asking or reminding them. I surely will go back over and over. If you are a big fans of Denny’s, this location wouldn’t be disappointed at all. Note that I did dine-in numerous times before and it was always very nice and issue-free. :)

I expect slow service at Denny’s, but tea and water refills didn’t happen even when we asked the server twice. To top it off a roach crawled across the table mid-meal! The server could have at least PRETENDED to care. In fairness, the manager apologized and took a sandwich off the check. We stopped eating because we lost our appetites, so really the whole check should have been comped. I might go back to Denny’s, but not this one. As a rule, when I see roaches in a restaurant, i I don’t go back. You’ve been warned.

This is by far the worst Denny’s I have been to in my life. I came here because I was craving breakfast for dinner and the place was completely empty. Not thinking too much into it, I soon realized why it was. Even though the waiter attempted to be polite(you could definitely tell it was just a front), he was completely incompetent. He couldn’t take our order of two kids meals and two value slam meals. We had to repeat our order multiple times so that he could write it down. Considering the amount it took for him to take our order, you wouldn’t expect our order to come out flawed, but it absolutely did. Nothing came out as we ordered. The kids meal were missing it’s sides and the value slams were missing items. After we had our meals, our sides never came out and we were full so we told our waiter that we didn’t want it anymore. We got the check and he charged us for the sides that didn’t come out AND the sides that were suppose to come with our value slams. We tried to explain the situation to our waiter but he got REALLY confused at what we were telling him. We even showed him the menu for a better understanding of what we were trying to tell him. He got his manager over and we had to tell her what happened. She tried to put the blame on us for the mishaps. That just got us heated because one, we didn’t want any trouble or tried to make the situation complicated in any way. Two, we were trying to be understanding. We just wanted our check to be right, all they had to do was take out the sides that we never received in the first place off of our check! She ended up taking out things that we didn’t necessarily order off of our check, which was like 3 bucks. I just don’t know what else to say. How can some people not know their menu and also damage control something so simple such as taking a couple items off the check when it was clearly their fault for not comprehending? Despite the«new» and«clean» atmosphere of this Denny’s, it is not worth coming here.

i rarely eat at Denny’s, but mom wanted to go for our regular Saturday morning date. It was very quiet when we arrived about 9am, which I thought it would be packed. Our server was initially prompt, but then disappeared. There is nothing worse than an empty cup of coffee when you haven’t even eaten breakfast yet. I had the Santa Fe Skillet, which is aight — nothing special, but a safe bet. Mom had a Farmer’s Skillet and it looks better. I would have thought that these came with a side of toast, but nope — that is extra. The food was consistent with what you would expect from Denny’s.

A relatively new location, this Denny’s is larger than it appears from the outside. It’s also a very crowded Denny’s and probably the nosiest location I’ve ever been to. The food at this location is probably on the lower end of Denny’s average offering. That being said, they still serve a pretty good breakfast and carry the same menu as any other Denny’s location in America. I can’t think of any issues related to the restaurant’s service. They are very fast, even on their most crowded days. They are also willing to change orders to accommodate customers’ specific needs or preferences. This isn’t the best Denny’s I’ve been to, but it’s a pretty good location overall. People preferring a less crowded experience might find their Wilcrest location more appealing.

It’s a diner with breakfast foods and assorted non-breakfast foods. I’ve never had non-breakfast food here so I can’t speak on that. The breakfast that I’ve order in the past was decent. Not bad in the least, but nothing to jump up and down with joy about either. The location is easy to get to with lots of parking. I was seated right away and got served fairly quick. Service was on par with what is expected from a diner. If you’re jones-ing for breakfast food at a time that it normally isn’t sold elsewhere, this is a decent spot to get it.

I had not been to a dennys since I was 12, I remember liking it. WOW, I dont understand why I was surprised when I got my food and realized it was total trash. It was so nasty that even after my meal I had a film of grease in my mouth that even carbonated soda would not wash away. Never again, Never AGAIN!
