awful food and what they are charging the quality should be better. i had the phở and it was bland and nothing but simple vermicelli noodles. Not even lemon juice could make it tasty. Had the chicken teriyaki and no flavor to that either. Chicken looked way too weird to eat and can’t even imagine the quality of their sushi. went there once and never again. but now they’re closed! i actually saw someone disappointed once they saw the sign that said that they had gone out of business.

My wife and I were going to Houston to see some of the museums, we figured the hospital district was right next to the museum district, and Gofish was a few blocks from our hotel. Went by on a Friday evening, and the place was empty. They appeared more set up for take out, because they had very little seating. My wife had the vegetarian phở, and I had the roast pork bahn mi. My wife loved her phở, particularly the broth. My bahn mi had a generous serving of roast pork, but was skimpy on the pickled vegetables, which is my favorite part of a bahn mi. It was small, but it was also fairly cheap at $ 4.95. The neighborhood was a bit rough, it probably would have been a bit less worrisome if we’d gone when the shifts changed at the hospitals. The service was very friendly and quick.

Pretty disappointed with lunch today. I ordered the grilled pork Bahn min and chicken vermicelli. This restaurant is wayyy too over priced for their quality of food. The Bahn min was 4.95, much more expensive than typical Vietnamese sandwiches around Chinatown which are about $ 3. The worst part was the chicken vermicelli. It was literally just a small portion of boiled noodles topped with iceberg lettuce and raw bean sprouts and 3 pieces of cold hard chicken that tasted like it was reheated from couple nights before. For such a small portion and poor quality the noodles were 8.95! I felt utter disappointment and will most definitely not come here again.

We tried this place for lunch due our week long stay at Houston Methodist. We had the Bahn Mi Pork sandwich and found it to very pleasant and light. The flavor was fresh with the cilantro and vegetables in every bite. My only complaint is that there could have been more pork on the sandwich.

I ordered the skyscraper. It was 80%rice, 15% mayo sauce, and only 5% not so fresh salmon. The Banh mi wasn’t so great as well.

Wow! Been a while since I have had such a poor tasting over priced lunch. I ordered Phở and what they brought out was something akin to bland chicken broth with noodles. The dish had none of the flavors and fixings that Phở typically is served with. The spring rolls were also equally bland. The Phở, spring rolls and a drink topped $ 14. I am not familiar with the area but there MUST be better options than this place.

Really quick delivery-but wasn’t a huge fan of the sushi. Everything had an extra fishy taste(yes, I know its sushi) but almost tasted old to me :-/

I haven’t tried any food here, but I find myself here every few weeks buying boba. I’m really not a fan of their drinks, but sometimes(especially on those brutal, hot Houston days) I just really crave boba. And I find myself here, since it’s METRO rail accessible. Even as I’m writing this, I am debating hopping over to the med center to grab some more. They are no teahouse, with all of their extravagant flavored drinks and smoothies. But they do have some variety — no cream or flavored milk teas though, only the original milk tea. Instead, they have a bunch fruity flavors(mango, strawberry, passion fruit, peach, etc.) that they combine with green tea. I’ve had a couple of their flavors — my favorite is passion fruit. They have a couple of chairs, but the interior is tiny and it’s more of a to-go place. It’s also usually pretty empty. They do use a lot of flavoring, so their drinks are overly strong for my taste. They taste much better once the ice melts and it’s watered down a bit. Last time we came, we were surprised to find there was a noodle inside my sister’s drink. Apparently the noodle was mixed in with their tapioca. Do with that what you will. The price is the amount you would get charged for most places in Houston(~$ 4.33 for a standard size). They charge for using credit card though, so bring cash!

Used to be great! I’ve been coming here since it opened up 4 years or so ago. Service has gone down and quality of food the same.

We were staying in the TX Childrens Hospital women’s pavilion at the end of oct. I was tired of McDonald’s & cafeteria food & was wanting Asian I love eating Vietnamese beef noodle soup(Phở) & gave this a try for lunch. The broth had good flavor(that day it had a slight hint of sweetness) & there was a good serving of beef — not too little & not too overwhelming. The beef in the soup is fully cooked — I’m used to ordering my beef a little rare in the Vietnamese restaurants but I know that alot of ppl get squeamish about what they may think is undercooked meat(especially in the med center area) so I can see why the meat is cooked well. Had a good meal & tried them for dinner. I tried the sushi platter — an assortment of nigiri sushi & a miso soup. Pieces were good & tasty & it’s hard to go wrong with miso soup. Next night I tried to be a lil more adventurous & ordered the tyler roll & udon beef stir fry. Both were amazing — great flavor. I would have eaten those all myself had my father-in-law not been there. As is the custom in Asian culture, I let my dad serve himself 1st& he nearly devoured it all. I got a small portion & secretly vowed to return & order it again only for myself. I’m definitely coming back if I’m in the area again. The service was friendly & they were happy to deliver it to our hospital floor.

It’s okay. Not the greatest but will do. I wouldn’t go all out and order a bunch of things off the menu. Nor would I would get it for a meal(lunch or dinner), just something for a quick snack.

I am here for a month now and already starting to miss the good Asian cusines back home. I ordered the udon and the pearl milk tea, and of course they aren’t that authentic but ithey gave me a really good time to review the stuff I like. Pretty suitable for people missing good food from home haha just for a guick lunch it is fine.

Placed an order for takeout. Receipt was correct, unfortunately the contents of the bag were not; they omitted an item and switched another. No big deal, i called them explaining the situation, they took my number and said that the manager would call me. So 30 minutes elapse. I call them, my coworker calls, finally someone answers and says that they will bring the omitted item and that the switched item was in fact not switched(i thought that the tyler roll contained three types of fish, instead got some deflated fried thing that was swimming in sauce, filled with what appears to be a meager smattering of fish pâté – my coworkers had ordered it previously and it was completely different). No free items, no apology, and the food is mediocre at best. Not ordering from here again. Let’s see how long it takes for them to deliver that missing item!

My friend got the sushi platter, and I got the sashimi platter. Let me start by saying that«platter» is a generous word. My friend’s sushi was the tiniest I’ve ever seen, and was definitely overpriced. The quality was not at all worth the price we paid. My sashimi platter was also VERY tiny. Definitely not worth what I paid. They were the smallest sashimi pieces I’ve ever had — no exaggeration. The fish was old as well. I have worked at two Japanese restaurants, so I use that experience as my reference for freshness of fish, and portion size.

When I ordered hamachi they didn’t understand because they«don’t use the Chinese name». I wasted $ 40 on food. The salmon I ordered was all smoked salmon. The rice is old and hard regular nonsushi rice. The sushi pieces are a knuckle size and look like a kid made them for fun. Adding a pic of the«mega chirashi bowl». Only good thing was the server/delivery girl was very nice.

Do not get the sashimi here! Biggest rip off ever, I can’t believe I just wasted $ 15 on that crap. The girl making my food didn’t even know what the heck she was doing. She kept rolling some rice like I ordered sushi and the girl behind the counter kept having to yell at her sashimi! My food came out and I seriously had a WTF look on my face. The sashimi was so thinly sliced and small. I know she must have given me the fish that is suppose to be used for sushi instead of sashimi. You can look for yourself at the picture I posted. Not only was I majorly ripped off the fish was soooo NOT fresh. They should be charging $ 5 for that kind of crap they served me!

The only thing I ordered was a strawberry slush boba. It was much better than I expected. They used some fresh fruit so you got some strawberry pieces in there which was nice since some places just use syrups to give the flavors. Boba in the med center is a rarity so at 5 bucks for a standard size, I think it’s well worth it on a hot summer’s day. As for the rest of the food on the menu, it looked pretty good, but I can’t speak for it since I didn’t actually order any; however, this place was good enough for me to consider stopping by the next time it gets over 100 degrees outside.

For fast food sushi, this place isn’t too bad. However, they charge like they’re a sit-down place, so that didn’t make too much sense. The specialty rolls are great(caterpillar, smash, bachelor in particular), while their normal rolls sucked. It’s as if the chef spent all of his time and energy into the specialty rolls, and then hastily put together the normal rolls for us. Also, the bubble tea was overly sweet, and came with too much ice. As in, you ordered a cup filled with ice with a few shots of bubble tea flavoring.
