Since i am a traveller, hotel food gets expensive. This little restaurant is well priced and food is good. The service was on point, nice and friendly. Nothing fancy but a good meal with good prices

The biscuit is full of powdered eggs, bacon, ham grits and should I mention that they have a smoking section unbelievable you can smell the smoke as soon as you enter. You get what you pay for anytime you eat at buffet

This place deserves more than 2.5 stars. That’s what scared me when I entered the premises, but it was more pleasant than expected. I was scouting around for dining options before dropping a friend off at IAH and stumbled upon this place. All day menus with good and attentive service. I ordered the pork chops and eggs, and you can choose between an option of bread or PANCAKES. What a treat, I’ve never seen any diner give away free pancakes as a side. Somewhere, Aunt Jemima is smiling and giving the nod of approval. My friend got the vegetable omelette, which was tasty. Our waitress came by every so often to fill our coffees so we never ran dry. It reminds me of a Waffle House. Go here and try it out if you are hungry before your flight.

The WORST breakfast I’ve ever eaten! And who in the world can’t make a decent omelet? I ordered the bacon, mushroom, Swiss cheese omelet & it was served with two somewhat melted pieces of Swiss sandwich cheese on top! Really? The omelet itself was dry & the bacon had a funny taste. I asked for fruit which came from the buffet and it was old & nasty tasting. My husband ordered two eggs over easy & they were cooked fine. However the pancakes had an «old» grease after taste & the link sausage was marginal. I would not go back!

Been here off and on for 15 years. It’s a Denny’s with a different name basically… but if you’re at the airport and you need a quick bite, it’s not a bad option if you are too lazy to go off-airport. You will get seated quickly. You food will come quickly. They will stay on top of your drink refills. Really all you can ask with a place like this and they do it well. The food is fine(you’re coming here because you’re hungry, not because you are craving the culinary excellence).

I had some business going on at the airport and my friend suggested this diner as a cheap but good breakfast. None of it is posh or anything, but the tables and silverware looked clean at least. The service was very nice and made sure we knew about the breakfast special before ordering. I followed my friend’s lead and got the $ 3.99 breakfast special with crispy bacon, eggs over easy, and 2 pancakes. We also added a side of crispy hashbrowns. Everything was decent but not great, but what the heck do you expect for $ 4? I was pretty happy not getting food poisoning lol. The eggs were a little overdone so didn’t have much yolk to enjoy with the hashbrowns, the pancakes were a little bland but they were LARGE… nothing outstanding but it wasn’t bad either, just somewhere in the middle, probably above average considering the price point! Overall the service was kind, but a little slow(we were not in a hurry). Their prices were good and the food was edible so I would go here if I found myself needing breakfast by the airport again. Hot Biscuit is A-OK in my book!

Had the soup of the day, eggs, hash browns and toast. Service was courteous and friendly. Definitely a good place for breakfast. I would come back!

We enjoyed yet another delicious breakfast here. So much fresh fruits and pastries on the salad bar was surprising!

Wow, the hot biscuit is a hot mess. The food lacks any flavor and it is disgustingly dirty.

So bad. Idk maybe I should have known not to get the buffet, but I did, and half of the food containers were empty and the other half were awful.

I loved this place. It was a little dodgy at night, but not too bad. 24 hours, and they serve cheap beer and wine until 2am, which is great if, like me, you get caught in a canceled plane situation. Service was friendly and quick. The biscuits weren’t anything super special, but portions were awesomely huge, big fan of the scrambled eggs and the hash browns. And CHEAP.

Staying in Hotel here in parking lot. Decided to check them out. Got weary of free breakfast at hotel. Did buffet here on sat. It was ok. Nothing special. I did see quite a few people get regular menu items. Maybe that’s the trick. Anyway fruit was nice and ripe. Waitress was very attentive with refills too.

This place was the most disgusting place ever it looked good from a far but I ordered and got lousiest food I’ve ever had in my 34 years. If your a picky eater and enjoy good food avoid. But if you don’t mind eating garbage this is your place.

Cordon blue is pretty good. Definately hit the spot after a long flight. Open 24 hrs! The corn tastes kinda sour though. But otherwise not too bad.

Great portion size and great value for the cost! Would definitely recommend coming here to eat lots of food for a low cost.

We generally have pretty high standards for dining. Reading the reviews we were a little apprehensive about coming here, but it’s the fastest/cheapest cab ride from the airport, and we love breakfast food, so figured we’d give it a try. We were seated quickly, the staff was very friendly, courteous and quick. The place was very clean and welcoming(despite what others have said). The food was cheap, so we didn’t expect much, but it was actually VERYGOOD! My girlfriend ordered the EGGchilada, but the server heard and brought her an ENchilada(honest mistake!). Our waitress apologized and a few minutes later a man, who I’m assuming is the manager, brought out her EGGchilada, apologized again and told us BOTH dishes would be free! The service, quality of food and definitely the quality of service were well beyond our expectations! Don’t let the poor reviews fool you… maybe this place is under different management or they cleaned up their act or were never that bad to begin with or who knows what, but we were VERY happy we came here! Thanks for the hospitality Hot Biscuit crew!

Bad food, but worst service. I walked in from my hotel across the street to get some dinner around 10:00PM. I wanted my order to go, but from the moment I walked in, it took me 25 minutes just to catch someone’s attention to take my order. They kept making eye contact with me, but they simply would’t come take my order. Now if a restaurant is busy, I would understand, but there were maybe 10 people total at the restaurant. Then the lady couldn’t ring me up cause she couldn’t work the register. Then the food, I ordered a simple dish, two chicken breasts with veggies and oh boy it was awful. Possibly one of the worst tasting food I’ve ever had. Staying Hungary wouldn’t have been a better choice!

This place is really untidy and smells bad. Nevertheless, biscuits taste really good and you can get grilled chicken breasts if you care about calories.

This place is visited more by the local airport hotels I can’t see a family or anyone taking the time to drive here. The food is good and the prices fare. The staff is very friendly and this place is clean. I would recommend this to anyone and the food is way better than the free breakfast at the hotels like La Quinta. They have a buffet which at this time is $ 7.99 but I got the steak and eggs and the steak was big and about an inch thick.

Hot Biscuit is *not* a fine dining experience. Hot Biscuit is *not* a trendy café. Hot Biscuit *is* an on-the-go breakfast and burger joint. It does not aspire to anything greater. If you expect more then you will be disappointed! I was in Hot Biscuit because I was staying at a nearby hotel. I needed some dinner after a day of meetings and went in about 7:30. I was greeted by one of the waitresses. She was friendly and seated me immediately. The other waitress came and took my drink order. My food order was taken when my drink arrived. My bacon cheeseburger was a little slow arriving, not enough to be concerned. The burger was adequate. Some of the fries were underdone for my taste, but everything was hot. I was offered a refill on my drink, and the bill arrived in a reasonable time. Hot Biscuit was what I expected. It didn’t WOW me, but it didn’t need to. It fills a niche and sometimes that is okay.
