Came here on Monday $ 5 burger & pitcher night. $ 5 burgers pitchers were $ 4(dos xx) and the assistant manager, ken, greeted us let us find our seats in cocktail, got our order & said it back to us(that comforts me), got our drinks and even two plates 1 with water the other with salt for dressing da beers, then our food was out within 15 mins. Very awesome service from him and Erica, our actual server. She was awesome.(She had a phat booty, no homo) just call it like I see it haha. Anyway, just all around an awesome experience & haters love hating & talking ugly about places BUT I’m definitely going back and spending my hard earned money there :) gotta help this economy flourish and what better place than Houston Texans grille & other local places here in HTOWN

I went to watch the Rockets game. Its a casual environment with many tvs. They have drink specials throughout the week and even on the weekend after 9pm. We tried the BBLT and the Spinach and Artichoke dip which are both signature dishes. I was not all that impressed with it. Now the BBLT on the other hand was pretty good. It could have used more siracha mayo because I did not taste it at all.

Fun place on game day. Service is great and food was okay. Arrive early for a table, it fills up fast!

This place is trash. Been here on 3 different occasions and the first time was excellent. It was the first week of the NFL season. Even met the General Manager the first time and she was a wonderful person. Went back when the playoffs started and something was different about the place. The way it was run was completely different from my first time. The waitstaff wasn’t as efficient and the overall energy of the place wasn’t the same. Looks like the place is being run into the ground. Save yourself the trouble and go to somewhere more established. These people have no idea what they are doing.

2nd time here and will be my last. This place is a wreck! Came here for my sister in laws birthday dinner. Party of 12 which we reserved and didn’t have problems with wait time. We made it just in time for Happy hour, which we ordered chips salsa QUESO, JUMBO traditional wings Large, artichoke dip. Save your money on the QUESO, if you want the taste of vomit go for it. I asked the waitress what this funky taste is and she described it as aged cheese!!! In QUESO? I’m a bit lost my lifetime of eating QUESO and now there’s aged queso? Hmm well it’s not our cup of tea for sure. Also the chips had a weird taste to it can’t really describe it. Oh yea she also said that some people like some people don’t? If this is a sports bar shouldn’t this place have awesome finger foods? So back to my Jumbo traditional wings Large. That is the exact order from the menu. Well once you receive the plate of wings you get a plate of I believe 10 wings and super TINY. Not sure what’s going on here their is jumbo and large specifying a big wing on the menu but then small wings comes out. Now to the taste hot buffalo was pretty weak also the wings were not hot they were just warm. This place was not busy what so ever. For food to be sitting! Arggggg This place will truly bring the rage out of anyone. Skipping to the most frustrating part which I hope and pray NO One will have to suffer the same misery/frustration we did! At the end of the meal we asked the ticket to be split. Which is fine the waitress said and she wrote everything down and walked away for a good 10−15mins came back with all the tickets and find out that it’s all wrong! So we reexplain how we wanted the split and said she got it and the same drill another 15 mins and she still printed out the same tickets back and then said Oh these tickets are temporary the system has it all.?? Umm then why can’t you print? Not once did the manager ever come by to our table to apologize for the wait or to check up on us. He would walk by the surrounding tables and ask how they were doing except US! So long story short well not short but we waited over an hour finally I WALKEDUPTOTHEMANAGER and asked if he could come by to fix this mess and he said he’s going too but then he walks to the back of the kitchen or wherever and never returned with an answer. Finally 10−15mins later we had things resolved. All I have to say is this place needs to be revamped! Starting from staffing, and management then comes down to food. The only perk with this place is the Tvs they have all over. My suggestions to all would be go to another sports bar around until they can sort this all out. Forgot to add that the Unilocal 10% off the check was honored for us. Whenever I spoke with the manager I mentioned it and he added to all of the Tickets! I hope everyone is able to receive this.

I watched a Texans and Titans game on December 26th2015. Perhaps, you can find some free parking at CITYCENTRE Mall. The servers were nice and friendly. I ordered some Veggie burger. The burger was with some small salad bawl. Great food. I got three beer. I liked the atmosphere. People were rooting for our Texans. A lot of television screens. We won! I saw J. J Watt’s autograph. Great decorations.

Fine looking place with plenty of JJ. But waiting five minutes for domestic drafts happy hour only to tell me everything that’s from Texas(brewed in Houston, Katy, and Shiner) isn’t «domestic» is ridiculous. Also to show the same basketball game on different tvs at one to two seconds apart is also ridiculous.

I love this restaurant. The drinks are delicious and inexpensive. There is literally no where better to watch the Texans or Rockets. You can really tell how much Houston is behind there team as soon as you walk in. The environment, THEFOOD, THEDRINKS and the staff are on point.

Went here for the first time this past Sunday with some colleagues from work. This place is suffering from a major identity crisis– do they want to be a club or a restaurant or a stadium vendor? They try a little of each– they have some guy acting as emcee, flashing lights, draft beer that costs what you’d pay at NRG stadium and everything is served in plastic cups. The whole place comes off as gimmicky– they blow liquor at a flaming beer bottle, have trivia during commercials and decided that a Nae Nae dance off was more important than the commentary during the Texans game. Service was terrible-our waitress would stop by about once every 15 minutes and could only handle instructions from one table before having to run back to her terminal. My beer took longer to come to me than my food. The burger was dry and needed seasoning/more mayo. I feel bad for recommending this place to my coworkers but I thought this would be good experience. Should have checked Unilocal first!

Perfect bar. They have a nice selection of drinks and plenty of games out on the patio. If you get there early enough you can pick your own seat which is always a nice perk. The wait staff is always friendly. Most of the entrees are 10 bucks and up, same as the drinks. They have A L O T of TV’s, perfect for a game day.

I live walking distance from this place, and some of the hassle with parking is not applicable to me. I also do not care too much about sports, so my review is based on drinks, food and service. Few times that I have been there, service was good, and beer menu is pretty decent. The Yard House in the neighborhood sets the bar pretty high for beer, but the Texans Grille has good selection. The most surprising part was food. Burgers are awesome! Me and my friend both had burgers and fries and agreed that this place was surprisingly great. Expect to pay around $ 12 for burger and fries, but it is totally worth it. Will come back again

We asked what their beer special was, its bud light and has been the same for the last 9 months… Some food we ordered never came out. Other food we got came out wrong. Drinks were inconsistent, same drink was watered down then overly strong. Def skip this spot if u can!

I went to the Texans Grille for a large birthday party(21 attendees) and the service was poor. When we arrived our table was not set up and it took 20 minutes to do that. We then realized they set it up for 15 instead of 21 and the management made it seem that we changed our minds at the last minute — however, they were able to accommodate. As the night went in, our servers became more scarce, until we went over 30 minutes without seeing one. We brought a cake and they said they would refrigerate for us — when we asked for it, they couldn’t find it and someone in our party had to go back to the kitchen to help find it. We finally got the cake and they brought no additional silverware or plates. See a pattern here? Next we asked for our checks — after 2+ hours we are ready to go and they can’t seem to get our checks! They said our server was brand new and put in the order wrong and it resulted in is having to go to the front counter(hostess stand) to resolve. After spending 3.5 hours at the Texan Grille and subpar food(I ordered the turkey burger — I do not recommend), I can say it was not a great doing experience. I would not recommend for a large party.

My first time here and I really thought the place would have been bigger and the place more of an open area. There is a bar area, Lounge, dining, and patio sections. The patio has pool tables, Foosball, jenga, and tvs. I ordered the pull pork sandwich and sweet potato fries. I could not finish the entire sandwich it was so big and loaded with meat and topped with thinly sliced onion rings. The pork was sweet and tangy and fries were right on point.

1. Service — Our waitress was really friendly and made some nice food recommendations. She checked up on us often and she asked if we wanted to pay separately at the beginning. 2. Price — $ 10-$ 30 a person. A bit too much for a hamburger. I had a Shiner Bock and Classic Hamburger, and walked out paying $ 20. 3. Ambiance — Nice, tv everywhere. It’s a good hang out spot for sports. Dress code is casual. 4. Food — The fries were excellent. The Classic burger was pretty flavorless and a little on the dry side. I think if any burger joint, the most basic is a classic burger. If they can’t make that right, I’m not sure how the other burgers are. I’ll give them another try, but first experience was ok. 5. Cleanliness — Very clean, this includes the dining area as well as restroom. Speaking of which, the men’s restroom is pretty cool. In the urinals, you’re facing the dining room, but no worries. There’s a tinted window there. You can only see one way. You can see out, on the other side, you can only see a reflection. Pretty creepy, haha.

Stopped in for hh and grab a bite to eat plus as a Texans fan wanted to check out the place. Once inside pretty cool décor with Texans items throughout the establishment. We sat at the bar and placed an order for the bacon wrapped jalapeños with chorizo which were really good. The bartender was on point for customer service and made a drink that tasted like fruit loops pretty cool. Another thing that caught my attention was the two way mirrors in both bathrooms so patrons can see the games.

Been here twice now and it was so so. Tuna sandwich was ok– a ton of bread but you come here to watch the games. Service is ok and lots of TVs. Not a big crowd which tells me there must be something better around Appetizers are pretty expensive and expect 6 – 10 bucks to park but all in all nice area, ok food. Come here usually with the guys from work. I have better choices if I was in charge.

I was invited here for lunch by one of my co workers. He was meeting one of his business contacts that chose this place to eat. First of all it is a PITA to park around here unless you park in the garage which is quite a ways from the restaurant and we had limited time. this takes away 1 star. We ended up parking where he had to pay for a meter. Being my first time here I looked the restaurant over pretty thoroughly. There are multiple TVs as well as Texans memorabilia. We were seated and immediately given menus. We ordered 3 different meals. One person. Got a wrap, the other a T-bone steak with veggies and. I got some sliders with steak fries. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed their meals. My sliders and fries we’re just enough food but not too much for my liking. The price was reasonable and thanks to Unilocal we got a 10% discount for checking in. Now my friend also belongs to Unilocal after hearing me talk about it he is now a member lol. My friend also picked up the tab! I heard that this place gets pretty crowded and loud on game day. I will have to come and check it out when the Texans play a regular season game.
