IHOP

I had a date here and it was actually better than expected! Our waiter was very friendly and he checked on us frequently. The manager also checked on us frequently to see if we were okay. I really don’t care for hanging out in this particular area but there was a police officer hanging out inside and walking around the parking lot so that made me feel safe. Overall it was a great experience! My omelet was tasty and my date enjoyed his pancakes.

Today I ate the Tilapia Florentine, it was really good, but the waitress was talking to some other lady in the table behind us for like 10 minutes. We had no napkins, only the ones that contained the forks, spoons, and knifes. She only came to take our order, and she just brought our food. She never asked if we needed something, we had to call her because she barely came to our table. Next time I come, I’m going to come at 2:00AM, the staff is more friendly. I also got a hot chocolate, it was really sweet, maybe they put in two chocolate abuelita tablets or something. Not coming again in the morning. Only at night.

I never had complaints of this IHOP until today. It seems that I had my invisible paint on when I was waiting to be seated and the server kept chatting with her pals like if there was no work to do. But that is nothing compared with the facial hair that I found in my sandwich plate. Yuck!!! See pictures for reference.

Came in for a late night meal. Fritz was our server and he was very friendly, professional and efficient.
Ordered the chicken strips with fries and a side of grits. My friend ordered pancakes and an omelet.
Everything was delicious and we never felt rushed to leave.

Has changed a lot recently obviously. Very nice and attentive waitresses and food was out within a few minutes.

the staff is great at this particular location of IHOP and i found it’s cleaner than most locations throughout the Houston area. What can I say, it’s IHOP and the food won’t blow you away but it’s nice because there is always fresh coffee and nice smiles

I have to agree with the poor service and slow kitchen. I arrived at 6 AM to get in and out. The food was okay but the service was not. Coffee ran out, took a very long time to come by and a very long time to return with more coffee. It took a very long time to get my food and the restaurant was not very busy. Very disappointed.

Never again, slow service, inept mgt, kitchen poorly staffed

Horrible service took 45 minutes to get food. No napkins n only one waitress.

Visited here one Saturday morning and it was about 70% full. Parking here was still ample since it sits in the middle of a parking lot where you could park on all 4 sides. It is in a semi rough neighborhood but there is no security here from this visit.
I had the pleasure of being seated by a new Hostess that sat me at a table with previous food residue still stuck to the table but not her fault, must have been the busser, oh I“m sorry the terminology for these days they are called «Dining room attendants».
From there we got a very attentive and nice waitress, I really wish I could remember her name to give her kudos but she was the African American waitress that spoke good spanish (Someone msg me and correct me if it’s proper to say A/​A or what these days, I do not want to offend anybody but just wanted to point out which waitress to ask for). While trading off numerous «Pleases» and «Thank you’s» with her I was astounded how friendly she was through out my visit and with all of her tables. Corporate or management of this particular location, if you can read this and figure out who she is, please give her kudos.
The food:
Ordered the crepes with Lindberry and Lindberry butter as well as the Quesadillas. The crepes of what I am used too have a filling, these were just crepes with a smidgeon of Lindberry on top with a tinted purple butter on the side, not worth the $ 6. The quesadillas were presentable and did have a little better filling and flavor of chicken and cheese. In all, the crepes would be a 2 star while the Quesadillas I would rate for myself 3.

Update: I found my receipt, the name of the server says «Kevonia». Sounds like the name of a city of still a really decent server in my book.
