I work in the area and decided to try this place out even thought there is no happy hour. The atmosphere is really cool and relaxing. The service is attentive. Since this was more of a reconnoissance mission, our order was on the light side to check out those musts in determining a good sushi spot for our rotation. The short version: this is a cool place with good service, but you are going to PAY for what you get. The long version: We started with the edamame which was decently priced. The serving was a good size although a bit al dente for my taste. We asked for some ginger and wasabi with it and got a HUGE bowl of the two. I mean HUGE. We also ordered sake. They have a decent selection to choose from, but we went with the house hot sake out of the machine that you see at every sushi place in town. Although the menu indicated $ 5, we were charged $ 8.50. To test the fish, we went with salmon and yellowtail nigiri. It’s one piece per order, and the size was disappointing. Don’t get me wrong, the fish was fresh and flavorful, but for the price, the cut was pretty dang small. The yellowtail was so good we ordered a couple of more pieces to enjoy knowing we will probably never go back.

We come here about once or twice a month and have been for about 2 years now. Best sushi in town! The tuna dumplings are to die for. Some of my favorite rolls are the Crazy Crab, the Red Dragon, and the Chef Signature. You have to ask for Chloe. She’s absolutely wonderful as well :)

Soooooo good! I had this insane craving for sashimi and man was it satisfied. I ordered the Twin Salmon roll lunch special and practically had to be rolled out of there myself!(budum ba CH!) But really though: the lunch specials are a great deal, the service could’ve been a little more attentive but overall was quick with getting out food out, and the food was fantastic! Can’t wait till my next sashimi hankering to show this place off to more of my friends!

I had never heard of this restaurant and went there to pick up an order to go for someone else. As soon as I walked in the door, my order was ready and the young lady was very nice! Customer Service goes a long way with me and you guys have it! I will be back soon for the full dining experience!

Amazing sushi, although definitely expensive for the specialty rolls(they range from $ 13-$ 18 per roll). I loved the orange tiger and the spicy king crab roll!

If you know what good Japanese food is, DONOT come here! We were traveling and usually Unilocal is trustworthy but not this time. Very disappointing, the worse food! Udon soup noodles was salty, not anything like the traditional, California rolls came apart and was TINY, chicken katsu was dry, salmon was overlooked, bento box was $ 20 way way overpriced and you hardly got ANY food! If there was no stars, I would give it. Makes me sick to my stomach that I had to pay for this meal. If it was free I wouldn’t eat it! That’s how bad it is!

Me and my hubby ordered rocky shrimp tempura which was seasoned nicely, it was crunchy on the outside and tender inside. Then we ordered sushi and sashimi combo which consists of 5 pcs sushi and 10 sashimi and andy’s roll and everything there was chef’s choice. We also ordered chopped scallop sushi, overall we like it but the size was too small and price was a bit high for the size, but i like the flavor and quality of food they served! the service was pretty slow because it was only 1 waitress for 5 occupied tables.

Because I can’t give them negative. Outrageously slow service, several servers are wondering like headless chickens, charged me a dollar for a leaf of mint!!! Otherwise it is the best sushi, fresh and delicious.

I was not expecting to have the best Bloody Mary I’ve ever had but I did. It wasn’t that much more than an average Bloody Mary also. The only reason not 5 stars is because me and my girlfriend’s food and drink did not come out at the same time.

pretty convenient location as its right off the highway. came here during lunch to a lunch menu that provided lots of options and value. i ordered the two piece sushi roll combo with a side of miso soup, my choice of rolls being the alaska and… new york roll i believe. while the wait for our food took a while(my friend ordered cooked food so i’m assuming they waited to bring both out), the food was pretty good and they were surprisingly generous with the amount of salmon they included in the rolls. service was friendly and attentive and the ambiance was casual yet trendy at the same time.

I was underwhelmed. I ordered the chirashi and while the presentation was pretty it was not what I was expecting, the fish was laid out on a plate rather then in a bowel making it hard to eat. There wasn’t enough sushi, the variety of sashimi, or lack of was disappointing. The plate was mostly filler and no fish! I had to order another dish after because I was not satisfied. I had the shrimp udon soup(nothing special). Then tried their scallop appetizer, singular not pleural! It was one lonely scallop on a huge plate. It was very peppery and while the flavor was good it didn’t last very long. The plus was the good service, easy parking, clean restaurant.

I must say that I love this place but I think that it is OVERPRICED. I love the Titan Roll and I think it tastes amazing and I usually always get that. I went there for lunch today and the roll was $ 17 and I asked for a side of Ponzu sauce(which is basically citrus soy sauce) and they charged me for it? Really? I just spent $ 17 on 1ROLL and you can’t even give me the sauce for FREE? That put a bad taste in my mouth and the titan roll becomes less appealing. Onto other things… The avocado salad is very good. I love the ginger dressing! I also have had several other rolls as well and they were fresh and delish. I am just disappointed in the pricing. The service at both locations is kind of slow. I don’t know if they are understaffed or what but it takes forever over lunch time. I know that I wont be back for lunch time but I might come in for dinner when I have a lot of time to spare.

I finally came here because AKA was too long of a wait for reverse happy hour. We ordered the rocky shrimp tempura which is the BOMB! We also had the jalapeño shrimp appetizer which was really good too. It probably wasn’t the best idea to have fried food late at night but it didn’t stop us. We also had an order of sushi but I can’t remember which. Would definitely love to come back and try their specialty rolls. The décor is very nice for a sushi restaurant.

Clara was awesome! She was incredibly knowledge about the specials, rolls and sake! I came here for my birthday dinner! I started with the Avocado salad which is so delicious, very similar to a normal house salad but with lots of avocado! We were new to sake and had no idea where to begin! Instead of letting us order a bottle we had no knowledge of Clara brought us samples of 3 different types of sake. We confined we didn’t like sake at all! So grateful our money was not wasted on that! Chef signature roll and crazy 8 our the go to rolls! So good!

The dragontini was delicious! Seriously. I had the usual – rainbow roll and salmon roll, with edamame before. It was tasty and exactly what I expected it to be. The prices were pretty regular. The waiter was attentive at all times. I’d go back. I also forgot my umbrella there, so if any of you find it, you’re welcome.

Since my first review 6 months ago, we have probably eaten here or ordered takeout 10 times.(Maybe even more…) Eating in: service is consistently excellent. On our first sit-down visit our waitress helped us select a bottle of sake from their extensive list that(after trying several others we chose on our own) has become our favorite and our go-to. We usually order the sushi/sashimi combo which comes beautifully presented and always tastes very fresh. We have also tried a lot of the items from the sushi roll list and have yet to be disappointed. Takeout: the food is always ready when they say it will be. Sauces come on the side so your rolls don’t get soggy and they never forget soy sauce or chopsticks. The prices are high, but no higher than any other sushi place with comparable quality. They recently introduced a rewards program for frequent eaters. After trying several others in the area, this is by far our favorite sushi place.
