N’nails

I have been a client of this shop since 1992. They are very professional and friendly.

Man, I wanted to go back and tell them to fix my nails because they started chipping immediately and looked baaad by the 2^nd day. I hate paying for a a bad manicure! I came here due to the good reviews on Unilocal since I was in the area but will definitely not go back.

Tried this place because of a friend’s recommendation. She always has great designs done for her manicures here. My first impression was that the décor was tacky and outdated. The staff was nice but ask a little to many questions about where I usually go. They did not disinfect any of the supplies used for my pedicure, neither before or after… Simply rinsed it in the dirty water they had soaked my feet in. My shellack manicure only last a day before the gems they had applied started popping off. As for my pedicure, the nail Polish was not applied evenly because after it dried you can see the different layers applied… So weird! Definitely never coming back.

They do a good job, cant remember who I went to either Pauline or Katy. but she did a pretty good job, I would def go back.

Unilocal let me down on this one. Environment, typical (not spa like, clean, or relaxing). Shellac nails — painted onto cuticles which will grow out horribly. Shoulder rub with lotion on my silk shirt (I didn’t request shoulder rub). Eyebrow tint — splotchy and one is darker than the other. Lesson learned — I’ll drive the extra miles to my normal salon instead of stopping anywhere in my way home.

Let me just say this place is the best in Northwest Houston! After reading the reviews I decided to check it out. Lucky for me I got to experience Ms. Paulina, yes everything on here is true, she is awesome, attentive, detail, and takes her time with each client.
I came to get solar nails that look natural and she blew my mind, coming from a different state I am noticing that most nail salons in the area apparently think that every black woman wants their nails long, chunky and square, but not Paulina she gave me one of the best solar looks I have ever had.
I also got my eyebrows done and she did a very good job as well. Trust me ladies this is a place you need to check out!
The only con is that they only accept cash and checks, so be prepared ;)

Stopped by here after work. Kim gave me the pedicure of a life time! I came in with nail polish chipping off my claws from 3 weeks ago. I’m very picky about my pedicure but she did an excellent job from start to finish.
She was sincerely polite, making sure I was comfortable the entire time. She offered me something to drink and adjusted the spa chair to my preference. I usually turn off the chair because I feel like its too rough on my back, but this chair massage felt good. I got the extended 15 minute massage and Kim definitely rocked it. She kneaded every millimeter of my legs from my knee caps to my pinky toes. She set the timer but when it went off, she actually went a few minutes over. Lotion, salt scrub and hot towels… I nodded off in the middle of it because I was so relaxed!
The other ladies in the shop were very nice as well. If you like to talk, they will chat with you. If you just want to sit in silence to enjoy your service, they totally respect that as well. I came in as a walk in and they greeted me warmly. I like the set up of the shop. All of the stations are spaced out. When you get serviced, you don’t feel like the other clients or workers are all on top of you. They use the sterilized pack of tools. There is a terrific selection of OPI colors. There are several, impressive looking palettes of various nail designs. I had a fantastic experience and I will return again.

I love N’Nails! Katy always does my nails but everyone there is so friendly and sweet. I made the mistake of getting my shellac done somewhere closer to the house once and I will NEVER do that again. Katy takes the time to prepare the nail and is as particular as I am about the filing and prep before polishing. Love her and Love NNails!

Awesome atmosphere! And by far the best service I have ever had. I am a perfectionist when it comes to anything especially my nails NOT looking fake. Katie did my nails today with the silver powder over my natural nails and they ROCK. I love they way all the girls slow down to take their time and do an excellent job! I highly recommend N’nails and I will NOT be going anywhere else. I recommend stopping in and checking out all their services … Cuz this nail salon is the BEST!
Well it’s been a year since I first went to N Nails and I still go there and Katy still does my nails. What I like best about N Nails is that if Katy isn’t there I have no worries about one of the other girls doing my nails just as good as Katy. :). And Kim… OMG if you need a massage she can definately put you into LALA land :). All the girls are awesome!!!

I heart Paulina!~ This chick knows what she is doing and she is not afraid to tell you that! She is super cool, down to earth loves to talk about anything and everything. I had gone to her for over 5+ years when I was doing the solar nails and since have gone with the all natural look becuase of the economy lol, but as soon as I can afford it I am making a B Line to her! I am pretty sure it should be free now anyway with the enormous amount of people I have sent to her… wink*wink I wish! Paulina=Perfection!
