Can you be mad at airport food for being expensive? No, because you were naïve if you expected it to be cheap. Panapolis is nothing special in terms of food or service. I bought a container of strawberries and a small drip coffee for $ 7, which is way overpriced but it’s the airport. It’s kind of awkwardly placed as a more established stand/cart in a hallway of Terminal C that leads to just 4 gates – next to an Essie nail polish and a Benefits make up dispensing machine. The baked goods included croissants with bacon, egg, sausage, cheese, etc. on top, but I couldn’t bring myself to ignore how many preservatives were probably in each of those goods. The coffee wasn’t great and tasted meh, but the woman working the cash register served it me with a smile even at 6:30AM. They did boast signs on cookie deals such as «3 cookies for $ 4,» which goes to prove the price point I mentioned. The only think you’ll be upset about when leaving here is the price. Nothing else sticks out.

I hate leaving one star reviews. .but this experience really deserves it. I stopped here on a layover and had about an hour. I had never been to this place before, and I wish I had read the reviews first. The girl behind the counter was not very thrilled to be there, but she wasn’t rude or anything. I opted for the turkey bacon club. I swear I saw bacon on it when she took it from the display(I also didn’t realize I was going to get a sandwich that looked like it had been there for a week), but when I started eating it, there was no bacon on it. How is there no bacon on the turkey bacon club? And, wow… who heats a sandwich with the lettuce on it? Just nasty. I usually wait till the sandwich is warm to add the cold ingredients. .and I usually have some kind of sauce. It tasted awful with the wilted warm lettuce. Ended up throwing the rest out. Gross! Hope others have a better experience. .but I will not be eating here again. Pretty pricey, too, for such a disgusting meal. 1 star for quality and price! :(

I had a great experience here while waiting for a flight. The woman behind the counter was very friendly, which is always an extra plus when in an airport. The sandwich I had was excellent and very large, the perfect thing to have before a 4 hour flight. I’ll be looking for this place again next time I’m in C terminal.

Comparable to a panera bread airport edition. My tuna baguette was good and tasty although reheated in a microwave. It was priced similar to panera as well($ 9). Luckily I could expense it.

OK, so call me a sucker for baked goods(you’re a sucker for baked goods!), but I have decided to write a review of this place on the strength of its muffins alone. Hubby and I grabbed a quick dinner from Panopolis to take with us on the plane. I had a turkey sandwich on pumpernickel, and he had a roast beef and cheddar on wheat. There were no condiments on the sandwiches; I could have requested them but prefer sandwiches without. The bread was fresh and very good. For dessert, I had a cranberry muffin(hubby abstained :). It really hit the spot! Perfectly sweet, dense, and moist, with a sugar-encrusted top(extra points). I would go back just for more of these. Bottom line: sandwiches are pricey but good, and muffins are fab!

I pretty much wasted 10 bones for lunch at this joint. Boo. I had a roast beef and cheddar sandwich and a bottle of water. I was not impressed. The bread didn’t come with anything on it, not even a side of horseradish mayo. How about a bag of chips? Nope, that’s extra. While I expect to pay higher prices at an airport, this was just silly. I won’t be stopping at this place while I pass through Houston International Airport again. The sandwich was boring and way over priced.
