Papa John’s Pizza

Orders are usually right, whoever cuts the pizzas could use a little work. Take out hours are a little weird, so I usually end up having to order the pizza delivered, even though I’m less than a mile away.

I ordered online and while my pizza was delivered within the timeframe I was told (30 – 40 minutes) and the pizza was hot… Again the delivery person messed up on the sauce portion of my order… (They were one short.) But at least this time they brought sauce… The last time I ordered from this location they had not even done that. So improvement maybe?
Sidenote: what’s up with the surcharges for sauce now? .49 per container? Quit trying to nickel and dime people here… In addition I didn’t even get the Parmesan or pepper freebies that usually come with my order whether I ask for them or not…
The delivery person did not have correct change (according to him, he had just run out of dollar bills at a previous delivery) and so ended up getting double the tip that he was originally going to get because of that snafu. Then when I went to eat the pizza I had ordered, the outer edges of the crust were burnt like it had been left to sit in the oven too long… And there was hardly any tomato sauce on the pizza itself…
I had been craving pizza for days and it was just a real letdown.

My delivery was incorrect, now when I call in they just place you on hold forever…

Ordered my pizza from work about 5 mins. Walked into the store was greeted right away and pizza is fresh and smells great !!

It took an hour to get a luke warm pizza. Dominos has you guys beat on customer service.

I have meant to write a review before, that would only mislead you, this Papa Johns location is now under new management. And with my experience at least 1 time per month for the last 3 years I have to say EXCEPTIONAL service… finally.
In the past, orders would be late, pizza cold and the drivers would always always forget my extra garlic sauce and I would call back to managers and they wouldn’t care.
I called last week to order 2 pizzas for my team that was working overnight at the galleria, I told him (the new manager) we needed extra garlic and what deals he had on 2 pizzas cutting them into small slices so everyone can make sure to get a piece, he worked with me and I am not saying this so you can expect it too but when they delivered my order within 20 minutes, the manager had added an extra pizza for us ! Too cool! This is how you do business in the galleria area, to expect growing numbers in a business treat your customers like they matter !

don’t mess up and fire this one, raise his pay to keep him if you have to, I love you guys’ pizza but the bad service I mean Horrible service has led me trying other pizza places, when I could have just came to you… great management will keep us regulars coming back and not wanting to venture to others. ! Thank you

Ordered six pizzas for an office party.
1) Had to wait an extra 20 minutes after they said they would be ready.
2) Pizzas were cold (seriously, how the fuck does that happen?).
3) They didn’t even cut the dang pizzas. We had to cut them at the office with plastic butter knives. Screw you, Papa John’s.

It would be helpful if you actually sliced your pizzas for your customers. Unfortunately I neglected to bring my own pizza cutter to the office today. Oh yes I prefer them hot as opposed to cold as well.

Order from here normally, have my address saved on their app and everything. Today I waited an hour, when I called to check on my order, they told me the driver came to deliver but I left the wrong address, so they left. This is incorrect, because I verified the address over the phone and before I ordered, and nobody came to my door. When I let them know the problem, they merely said I could wait another 30 minutes and have delivered roughly at that time. Thanks for making me waste my time, now my money that I won’t get back for «3−8» business days. JOKE.

Ordered twice from this location. Both good experiences. Folks were really busy the first time. The gentleman at the cashier was taking an order when I got there. Waited a lil while since the Customer seemed made a lot of requests. But he was very patient with him (apologized to me in the middle of that call). So I didn’t mind waiting for a lil longer. But soon another staff noticed and asked me if he could help. He got me my extra dipping and apologized again. The second time I ordered when I was 5 mins away from there. Got to the store and waited 15 mins in my car. When I went in the pizza was ready. Staffs greeted me with smile. Most importantly phone rang when I was paying and another staff ran to the phone from inside. I like the effort they make. So much better than those pizza stores who always take their sweet time and give you attitude.

Can’t even rate the pizza quality for a pizza I ordered because I walked out of the store after waiting for 10 minutes. Listen, I’m from out of town and staying at a nearby hotel. I’m making it easier for you by driving and coming to you to pick it up. I get there and there is one person waiting in front of me. It’s a disgruntled customer, who sat and waited in line. In the meantime, I see 1 – 2 employees making pizza, another upfront on the phone the entire time I was there. My pizza was ready at 6:50– I got there at 6:53 and I walked out at 7:05 because it was not worth my time to wait anymore without being acknowledged. I’m Unilocaling from another pizza place waiting for a pizza to be made so I had time to give this review. I’d avoid this place altogether– if I can’t be acknowledged in person, I can only imagine how long it would take to get a pizza delivered.

The manager called and apologized. I understand everyone has l bad nights and that traffic in Houston can get difficult. All is good service has been great since.

Expect a late delivery and snarky service. Apparently papa john’s expectation is that you should be happy to wait 2 hours for a pizza. Go with dominos if you want same day service.

By far the best experience with this company. Delivery within 40 minutes, hot pizza, and the best cinnapie I’ve ever had. Will definitely order again.

Girlfriend came over. Nothing at all in my fridge. We agreed a box of pizza will suffice seeing we were both starvingggggggggg! Poppa John’s it is, we said.

Delivery was quick. Coupon codes online worked. Pizza was not what expected. Garlic sauce was cold. Ugh. Just ugh.

Horrible customer service! I called twice about my order for two medium pizzas that I had ordered more that an hour ago only to be YELLED at by the phone operator to hold. Before this, I had not had a bad experience, but I won’t ever order from here again. I recommend you order from another place.

Bad service very disappointed. Order pizza & chicken wing in 802 PM and they said will deliver the food in 45 mnt. Call again in 905PM again to check they said don’t have my order. Im new in neighborhood and read review before order pizza. One lady have same experience but i thought it just coincidence but in the end I’m the one who’s been filled too. Never again order. Ever…

I usually order online to collect my papa points or use a coupon code (or both) and then go pick up since they are so close to home. This is one of the better take out/​delivery pizza chains in my opinion. Better ingredients, better pizza. It’s so true!

Horrible service! Phone in for a large pizza and the person on the other line said 35 mins. My friend & I’s stomach rumbling after an hour… we decided to call them to find out where are our pizza. Well, the person blamed on the driver but in reality… they forgot to put in the order. Once they put in the order… we waited again for another hour and well… eh…not going to order here ever again. BLAH!
