It’s the kind of place you go to if you’re nearby and just want to eat because it’s quick and easy. Nothing was memorable but everything was acceptable. Grilled chicken sandwich, chicken nuggets, and fries were all above average. Portion sizes are not too small and not too big. I will say that the quality is above traditional fast food standards but below higher end restaurants. Give some of the unique sauce combos a try while you’re at it.

Great quality chicken, great tasting fries too. I don’t write reviews often but this place is worth it. The cashier in the front struggled with English but she gave me the best customer service I have had in a while and always smiled. Lastly the food came out within 3 minutes of me ordering it. I’ll definitely be coming back.

We decided to check out PDQ and ordered 4 crispy chicken finger meal that comes with fresh cut fries and regular beverage was $ 8.69. Also ordered a crispy chicken sandwich which is $ 4.69. The crispy chicken fingers had a dark peppered batter but the tender was bland, the star of this restaurant is the dipping sauces which you an get unlimited free dipping sauces. They have several different flavors such as ranch, bbq, etc. I like Raising Cane’s fingers a little better as they are a little more tender and since I like the sauce, extra sauces are a moot point for me. The chicken sandwich was like a dense hockey puck and I like Chick-fil-A’s sandwich better. A plus point is the fresh cut fries and the beverage center is one of those special coke machines where you can make several different combinations. The restaurant staff is polite and the restaurant was clean. Good but I have other places I would prefer more.

So people have been stating this is better than Cane’s?! They are crazy. This place is good, but by no means are they better than Cane’s. The chicken tenders are moist, but the sauces did not dare compare to the sauce at Cane’s. I tried 4 of them and the best was the siracha variation. The fries were not as good as Cane’s and there is no TOAST! The toast at Cane’s sometimes can be even better than the tenders. The coleslaw here is marginally better. Don’t bother getting the nuggets here either.

PDQ… Raising Canes and the Great Gambino Zaxby’s are almost from the same chicken tender tribe! PDQ takes it a step further with customer service by asking for your name when taking your order and they greet you by your name! So welcoming! Now to these tenders. They are meh… Not so bad. I would probably get raising canes next time. PDQ tenders arent packing much flavor, but the hand cut fries are pretty delicious!

Saw this as we were passing by on I-10 and decided to give it a try. Plenty of parking and has drive thru. Their supposed to be «fresh food fast» with chicken tenders, nuggets, sandwiches, salads and shakes. Once inside there’s a designated area to line up to order. We tried the 3 piece tenders meal with fresh cut fries with drink and the 12 piece honey marinated nuggets only. Just these two items cost about $ 15 so I wouldn’t say it’s too cheap. The tenders were definitely small so don’t expect the 3 piece meal to fill you up if your hungry. The fries were crispy and good the way I like them. I’d definitely go back for the fries again. Their nuggets seemed a bit bigger than chick-fil-a. The stand outs were actually the homemade sauces. We tried the creamy garlic and sweet sriracha and really enjoyed both to compliment the food. They also had a fountain-like hand washing area by the doors which I thought was pretty cool to be able to wash your dirty chicken hands without having to go in the restroom.

I love some fried chicken and here we have a place billed as one of the best in quality, and they absolutely deliver on that criterion. These days there are distinct levels of chicken inequality, like McDonald’s vs chickfila chicken. PDQ would be near the top obviously. we will soon have more choices as this chicken trend catches fire to compete with beef burgers(slim chickens, super chix, shake shack, zaxbys). First and foremost then, the chicken. The one thing I can’t forget about this PDQ chicken: it was crazy moist(brine with herbs) with a complementary crunchy cornflake crust with peppery notes. The fairly neutral taste sets the palette for their signature sauces of which I loved their sweet sriracha! quality-wise, this is top 3 for my favorite chicken tenders ever. I’m glad these days that gourmet chicken is in vogue! their fries are the newly trending natural cut(with some skin, yay) with sea salt, crunchy on the outside and plenty of fluffiness inside. a lot of places have these and they’re worth eating here alone. if I had to compare, I’d say they are like Wingstop/five guys. the only downside is the price. if you are cheap this is not the place for you, you will pay for quality, believe that. I see they have gone the way of the modern restaurant with the open to view kitchen, bright, bold décor; very prideful in their food that is clear. maybe it is all for hype, and maybe it works, well it does for me anyway. presentation is important, maybe half the battle, and they will win my choice with this mentality every time.

This place knows how to deliver chicken tenders. Went with my daughter to try this new place in the neighborhood, and it was a success. The food was prepared to order and the staff was very friendly. The chicken tenders were freshly cooked and it was a big chunk of juicy white meat. My daughter had the tenders with fries, and I had the buffalo chicken tenders sandwich. The fries were also very tasty and freshly made. The food was great, planning on visiting again soon!

What’s with all the hype? Service is ok. They don’t use those annoying drive thru voice boxes. Instead you place your order with a real person at the first of two windows. We drove up. Two employees were talking. One eventually noticed me. Food didn’t meet expectation at all. We ordered grilled tenders. Tips of my chicken were still cold. The rest of it was barely warm. Fries are tasteless. Definitely not worth the $ 10 price. Won’t be returning.

Not sure what all the hype is. I had really high hopes for a new Raising Cane’s type of franchise about to bud… But was very disappointed with my first experience. For one, the prices are actually quite high for what I would consider substandard chicken strips. Although my girlfriend and I both ordered chicken strip sandwich combos(+fries & drink), what we received was pitiful. The sandwiches were super tiny and thrown together with nothing else but big iceberg lettuce stalks. And the strips that were on them weren’t all that great either. Also, the fries were the really greasy shoestring type and tasted kind of stale. Although the drive-thru service was super friendly, we didn’t receive any napkins or ketchup. I was expecting to find some type of special signature dipping sauce in the bag, but at least some obligatory ketchup at the minimum. How the hell were we supposed to eat these greasy ass fries without the basic essentials? Hopefully things turn around for this new place in the Spring Branch area.

The chicken tenders are not too greasy like Canes. I like how we can select the sauce we want instead of just picking one. The blue cheese is my favorite. The fires are not so much. I always get the left over fires. I don’t know why. The establishment is very clean and the employees are very respectful.

Tried their chicken garden salad or something. Didnt like it. It was basically cheese tossed with iceburg lettuce. That’s how much cheese they had. The sliced up crispy chicken was decent but it was the cheese that overwhelmed me. I managed to eat all the chicken while left everything else to trash. Will try something else next time. Just dont know when.

This review is for the drive thru The line was long about 7 cars in front of me, but it moved along quite fast. They had an employee standing out taking orders from the iPad which spend up the process. The food is really fresh for a fast food place. I had the 4 piece grilled chicken tenders pack which was great. It was tender, juicy, and not overly salted. I love chickfila but to be their grill nuggets are way too salty. The blueberry coleslaw was ok, but the fries were amazing and super crispy. The buffalo blue cheese sauce is also the bomb. Just a 411 though. The 4 piece grill is not that big of a portion so if you are really hungry I would go for the 5 piece. So far I think it is a great place to pick up a moderately healthy fast food. I will definitely comeback to treat out the rest of the menu.

I love chicken and never tried out this fast food chain yet. I ordered a Cali club sandwich which is basically a club sandwich with a grilled chicken patty. Delicious. The fries were seasoned but not overly salty. I think it was either a supervisor or manager that rung me up at the register but I liked how he asked me, by name, how everything was. I need to come back to try the chicken nuggets/tenders before I crown this place being better than Raising Cane’s, but so far so good!

Can’t beat the excellent and fast service! Our food was great and with no preservatives! The manager even took the time to speak with us and explain all the great sauces as well as the company philosophy behind it. The restaurant was clean, well lit, comfortable and with plenty of seating. I will not only recommend this place but I will be back again VERY soon.

Not knowing what to expect, we decided to give this new place a try. Are you kidding me??? What an amazing experience! The place was open and inviting, the staff super friendly and the food? Forget about it! It was fresh, delicious and dynamic! Crazy good sauces and hand-cut fries were top-notch! We really liked the other chicken tender place, but they just got bumped! I highly recommend PDQ!

Update: I came back tonight to give them another shot. I got the chicken strips with fries and drink. My meal was so much better this time around. It was brought out to me very fast. And the customer service never fails :) The fries were good. The smell was great and the taste as well. It wasn’t too salty like most fast food joints. The chicken strips were crunchy & better than Raising Cane’s. I fell in love with their sweet sriracha sauce! I will definitely be returning when I crave good chicken strips & their unforgettable sriracha sauce! I really look forward to coming back.

PDQ will definitely be a frequent stop of mine. Their tenders are great! The batter is simple, but this is not a problem since they have a variety of great sauces that complement the tenders. I had one of my friend’s nuggets and they were super good. The batter on the nuggets are full of flavor(definitely different batter from tenders). The best thing is that they don’t charge for the sauces like Raising Cane’s, so you can get different sauces for each of your tenders. The fries are good and well portioned on the combo meals. The restaurant is clean and the staff is friendly. I got checked on three times and even got to sample their lemonade! Yum. The prices are reasonable — I would say slightly cheaper than a meal at Chik-fil-a. They have cookies for 99¢. I had the cranberry oatmeal. In summary, tenders are fresh, good, and the sauces make them better. Tenders seem on the small side, but I don’t mind since it keeps me from overeating. If you want a batter with more taste, get the nuggets. They have a touch screen Coca-Cola machine, which I know the soda pop folks would enjoy for the variety. The restaurant is super clean and I kid you not, I waited no more than 3 minutes to get my food and it was HOT from the fryer!
