I ordered dinner online, was told that it would be ready for pick-up in 23 minutes. I arrived a few minutes early, paid the bill, and the cashier said the food would be out in «a couple of minutes». Ten minutes passed, and finally another employee called out my name. Excited that my food was ready and I could finally leave, I went to the counter, only for him to tell me again it would be «a couple of minutes». A crowd was beginning to congregate, as other people were having to wait for their pickup orders as well. I sat there another ten minutes; it was now more than 40 minutes since I first placed my order. That’s unacceptable. I have eaten at Pei Wei many times and the food is usually out in ten minutes. I went to the cashier and asked him how much longer I would have to wait. He checked and said five more minutes. By this time I was angry and tired and didn’t believe him, so I just demanded a refund. When I left, the crowd of people waiting for their orders was huge. I guess the manager finally realized there was a problem because he appeared out of nowhere and I heard him tell some employees, «get out of my way!» He should have done that twenty minutes earlier. As a backup plan, I had to go to a fast food place and get some chicken sandwiches. I’m glad I at least got my money back from Pei Wei, but I will never get back the 45 minutes of my evening that I wasted on them. Will not go back to this location again.

This location is usually pretty good about serving delicious food, but today the fried rice was thick and mushy. I will give them one positive, the Kung Pao chicken was delicious!

C’mon…its Pei Wei! There isn’t anything I love more than the lettuce wraps, those may be on the menu for«final meal!» Service is hit or miss in the friendly meter, but the service is so fast, who cares?!? Love that we can call and it’s ready by the time we arrive. Dine in is fine, but we prefer pick up on movie nights at home!

I only go to Pei Wei for lunch during work. I use to get to the Kung Pao chicken but sometimes they put too much sauce. So you have to ask for light sauce. Lately, I have just been getting the sushi rolls(any of them are pretty good) and an order of fried rice with the chicken. It’s pretty good for lunch. Not too heavy but keeps me full for the rest of the day. Never have to wait too long to get my order since I order online.

Not the best, not the worst. Quick and easy, usually. I was down at Growler’s having a drink and my pad thai was taking F o R E V E R and the cashier knew I was annoyed. I said I would be back in another 10 minutes, but before I could go back over, he had come in and brought me my dinner! So, 4 stars because that was super sweet.

I always get takeout here and the service is great. The staff is really friendly, they’re quick, and if they ever make a mistake just call back– the manager will ALWAYS fix it. My food has always been good and they are very consistent. Also love that I call and my info is saved in the computer.

We called in an order for one entrée and one soup and was told it was a 30 minute wait due to a lot of orders. When we arrived, 10 minutes later than we were told, our order was wrong. Sauce on our entrée and on the side when we only requested for it to be on the side and when they corrected it, it was still wrong. The girl at the counter made many excuses for the terrible wait and wrong order. Also, when we arrived, the place was completely empty. Don’t think we will be visiting this location anytime soon.

So this time I ate in rather than take out. About the best thing I can say is the staff is friendly and the food is served fast and hot. The table I sat at had the stickiest table top ever. Even after repeated orange peel and water washings it was greasy and gross. The food was okay, around the quality you’d get in a grocery store that has a wok and a sushi station. Crab Wantons had too much wrapper and an okay filling. Crispy Wasabi sushi wasn’t refrigerated so the rice was nice and the sauces were okay tasting. The steak Dan Dan was spicy but in a generic sort of way, not the special kind of spicy you might associate with this dish. If you want a fast food pseudo Asian meal, Pei Wei is right up your alley.

Exactly what I expected l, quick take out fresh tasting food. Always enjoy the lettuce wraps here and this time was no exception. The pad Thai was a bit spicy, but that’s good right?

Omg how slow can they be?! 5 workers in food prep, but 1 cooking and 1 preparing orders. The other 3? Talking to one another and moving so slowly for no apparent reason. 2 egg rolls and 1 small cup of hot and sour soup — took 20 minutes. During lunch! And no, it wasn’t packed and most diners were already eating. Although the food(once I received it) tasted fine, the wait was uncalled for, especially with 3 idle workers. I will be calling management, or better yet not returning.

I was so so excited to come back to pei wei after many years. But then I see why I haven’t. It’s over flavored. Relax pei wei. It’ll taste great if you being it down two notches. Sushi. Gross!!! You cannot use regular rice to make sushi! Again DONOTTRYTHESUSHI!

What a mess this place is now! Walked in bout 8 pm and half of the seating area was available but every table was littered with dirty plates and cups… rice and napkins all over the floor. Unbelievable!

Bleh. Chains-named so appropriately because they tie down your taste buds, suppress locally owned restaurants and imprison restaurant patrons into a mass meal mentality. Pei Wei is no exception. I only have been here when given a gift card and have been disappointed every time. I’m surprised at the amount of business this establishment does at lunch. Is it an oxymoron when food is over sauced and under flavored? The salt comes with edamame. Anything calling itself Thai or Korean on the menu must be having an identity crisis. Maybe I would have liked this place in the 80s before I knew what Asian food is supposed to taste like.

Dear Pei Wei, I would like to take a moment to appreciate how wonderful you are! You are delicious, you are quick, consistent, affordable, and always hit the spot. Thank you for your Mongolian beef. Thank you for your gluten free options. I love you.

Ekk! Food is great and is so close to home but yikes! We often pick up orders after a busy day and have had two not so great experiences: –My husband went to pick up an order, paid and headed home only realize they gave us the wrong person’s order. We called and they said, «Oh, yes, we realized that, you can come pick up your order.» No call letting us know the order was wrong so he could turn around while in the car and no offer of discount(not even a free cookie or soft drink!). –I picked up pad thai and was half way done eating when I noticed not 1, not 2, not 3, but probably a dozen STAPLES in my noodles. When I called to let them know they said, «Sometimes when we staple the tickets to the bags we have trouble with the stapler.» What? How does that equate to staples in my noodles? I was offered a new dish but declined and haven’t been back.

Their food doesn’t stack up to the rest of the pei weis in town. The blonde haired waiter seems a bit of a racist. I’ve seen his reaction when he gets food to some of the white patrons versus all others, and it’s definitely telling. People can pick up on vibes. However I am gonna continue to come here just to piss him off. !

Update: I give this 3⁄5 now — an «A-OK». Since I emailed their management about the issue, they followed up, were friendly, and sent over a couple of $ 10 gift cards to welcome me back. I went last night with a friend, service was quick and food was pretty good. The woman who was texting was still there, though her phone to which she was formerly glued was no longer in sight. I like it when a business follows up and tries to rectify a problem. This one did, so thank you!

This Pei Wei is on the right side of the street on my way home from work, so it’s quick and easy to order by phone, pull in, pull out, and be on my way in under 5 minutes. By signing up for Pei Wei emails and liking their FB page, I get BOGO free entrée offers every few months, and that’ll prompt a stop. I placed an order by phone and they put chicken in my dish instead of shrimp, but I like chicken and it’s cheaper, so not a big deal to me. However, I still wish they would be more careful because it could have been a mistake that made me not enjoy my food. I like the option of having steamed(stock velveted) or fried proteins with your meal so you can save a little fat and calories. The Thai Dynamite is my favorite dish — extra spicy, hold the red bell peppers. The portions are large, but not enough to divide in to 2 meals. It’s an awkward 1.5 portion where if you save leftovers for lunch the next day you’ll still be hungry. I like the unlimited fortune cookies — great to stash a few in the glove box for when you get the munchies in traffic.

This place was nasty! The food tasted like if it was frozen or drenched in nasty watery and oily sauce. The shrimp was the grossest thing I had. It looked like it was frozen and then cooked. Never again. No thanks. The only redeeming quality was the noodles. If only they weren’t drenched in that nasty sauce.

This store has been on a steady decline. Buddy of mine used to work there and the food was far better. Ordered they said 15 minutes took me 20 minutes to get there and my food still took another 10 minutes to come out even though there were at most half a dozen customers who were already seated. My egg roll was cold even though they said that is what held up my order — even cold it was quite tasty. Not so lucky with the back pepper chicken, sauce was fine but the chicken was over cooked it was like wood totally inexcusable and it too was cold. Rice was hard and crunchy obviously old. Manager was ace gave me $ 10 credit and a BOGO coupon, really nice guy actually. All In all pretty lousy experience.
