Very disappointed this place closed; the pizzas were excellent, very reasonably priced, and the staff were super friendly. Hopefully Pie Five makes a come back within the Loop at some point. All of the other Houston locations are way out in suburbia!

Delicious pizza prepared quickly and low costs. Top it off with an oooey, gooey brownie. Several salads to choose from as well. Super friendly staff and super clean!

I’ll get straight to the point. It’s like the subway of pizza. The food is fresh and the service was outstanding. Hard to get this kind of service at a fast food place. Christopher was more than helpful since it was our first time.

I’ll be straight and to the point: Pizza was delicious. However, the staff was extremely slow and rude, and the place was messy. I’m pretty sure two of the employees were high.

Really I’d give this place a 3.5! Pretty good! I get to make it my way(for an inexpensive price) with no compromising on my toppings, that’s a win! Who knew a pizza with no cheese or meat and extra veggies would be a hard sale amongst friends. Lol. Also the ingredients are fresh and the service was fast and polite.

My fav pizza place. I always get the thick crust pizza(build your own) with meatballs, pepperoni, sausage, red onions. The magic dust and red peppers at the end help give the pizza some extra flavor. Very friendly staff, except when they have the newbies in there training. I started to get the bbq buffalo chicken pizza, its delicious. Only complaint is tell your staff when they are making the pizza to keep the talking down to a minimal, I dont want saliva in my pizza. Other than that I love this place!!!

You can’t beat a personal pizza with unlimited toppings and lots of choices for $ 6.99. Between the crusts and sauces and toppings, there’s something for everyone. I’m already planning what I want on my pizza next time.

I came here late on a Sunday so I understand that their stuff may not have been the best/freshest at that point. But from what I’ve had, a place like Mod Pizza is a lot better than this, but this is still a good alternative for customizable personal pizzas for a good price($ 6.99). The artisan thin crust is kind of weird. I don’t think their oven is hot enough, or they don’t cook their dough long enough, because it was not that crispy and even tasted a little bit raw and flour-y. Also when they gave me the starting dough, there was a big tear down the middle of it, but they went ahead and made the pizza with that — that’s ridiculous! Their meat and veggies are yummy. They are a bit stingy on them and I kept having to ask them to put more, more, more, but they were happy to oblige.

Quick tips: I love fast customization so this was an instant hit with me. Unlimited toppings for 6.99 is a great deal. Food: They have so many nice toppings, both veg and non-veg. I also love that they have a thin crust and gluten free crust. Pizza also comes out lightning fast. They also use a lot of their Mozarella and Romano cheese so if you don’t want too much, you should ask for half.(I love cheese so it wasn’t a problem). Service: Fast counter service. Ambiance: Very casual. If you want pizza that’s a step above dominos, but you don’t want to sit down at a table with a waitstaff.

Overall if you’ve tried Mod Pizza or Pieology, this is it. The only difference I see is that Pie5 has the option of Pan Pizza or Thin Crust. Pie Five Pizza Co appears to be the latest franchise in the Chipotle style business where you can build your food down a food assembly line. The Pan Pizza option really does it for me. Its not the best as Pizza Hut will just load that pan up with butter to add that rich greasy flavor, however If you like it light and fresh, this will do it.

Came here for lunch mid week and the place was pretty empty. The restaurant is basically the Subway or Chipolte of Pizza Places. Pick your head, your sauce and toppings. Lots of options to choose from. While I like the concept, the pizza was mediocre but for«fast food» pizza it wasn’t awful. Service was fast and friendly. The pizza and drink ran about $ 10. I probably wouldn’t suggest it for a meal but if someone else wanted to go, I wouldn’t say no.

If you’re looking for a big box taste with big box flavor… this place is absolutely not for you! If you’re still with me and you’re happily reading away, then let me tell you that this place is definitely a must if you love pizza pie and everything about them. I’m not too sure because I’ve only been here once, but I think this place is a «personal pizza» type establishment but don’t be alarmed because you will love it nonetheless because you and your partner can order two totally different pizza’s and enjoy them accordingly! Okay, go ahead and trade a slice or two so you can try two different types in one sitting!

I brought my family in here the other day for dinner. I loved that for little money I could order exactly what each person wanted. Then there is the fact that the ingredients are high quality and the taste is excellent. It seems we always have a compromise for pizza’s amongst the four of us. This is a great new franchise that I think you will see popping up all over. Check it out. I have heard they want to put one in Jerry’s AT&T stadium. Don’t get me wrong, this place will never replace your Grimaldi’s, Luna or Star, but for an inexpensive value, it is great.

Loved the concept! Great, build your own pizza restaurant, with great pricing. A personal pizza(any toppings) side salad, and drink for under ten bucks, that’s awesome! Staff were friendly here at the Heights location. The line does move very slowly as they are making each pizza individually for each customer. But once it’s your turn you will appreciate the attention, and your pizza will be just right. The good think about this is that it only takes 2 minutes to bake each one, so yours will come out of the oven quickly. Just enough time to pay, fill your drink and find a seat, then it will be ready and hot. Melty, cheesy goodness to fill your hungry belly. It’s so good! Several crust options, including a really good gluten free. Also, choose your own sauce from several choices, which include a spicy that actually singes the tongue, unlike many other restaurants claim to be spicy this one actually is hot. Really good, really fresh, friendly service, all-in-all a win!!!

After going to Pieology in Irvine, CA, Pie Five failed to impress me. The concept is the same at all of these build-your-own pizza places: they have pre-portioned pizza crust doughs, you select your toppings, they bake it, and within minutes you have a fresh personal pizza. You can select one of their crafted pizzas or make your own. If it’s like Pieology, then it’s unlimited toppings for the price of $ 7 or $ 8 or something. They also offer kid’s pizzas for ~$ 4, salads, side salads in a pizza-dough shell, beer, and various drinks. We tried the Hi Five Pizza, which has sausage, green olives, red onions, and other stuff on a pan(i.e., thick) crust. When we received the pizza, we were disappointed in how small it was. The dough itself was tasty, but I didn’t want it as the crust here. I think if this was on a thin crust, it would have been better. I saw they have the option of thin crust… There was nothing bad about the pizza(except the size), but there was nothing special either. It did not taste more fresh or better than something at Pizza Hut and definitely pales in comparison to Star Pizza. For $ 8, I was expecting better. One plus is that they have the customizable soda machine, with hard-to-find soda flavors like Cherry Dr. Pepper and others. Another plus, clean and quick service. But other than that, I’ll pass and order Pizza Hut or Digiorno, thanks.

4 stars for quality/taste of food, 5+ stars for customer service. I have been twice on a Sunday afternoon and both times a very friendly man, who I assume to be a manager, took care of me. The first time I ordered the High Five on traditional crust, and I am eating the chicken carbonara on a thin crust right now. Both were very good, and they do not skimp on the toppings. You can add more toppings for free, and you can ask for extra cheese, also for free. It’s rare to find a place that doesn’t charge for more toppings, especially cheese. Both times I went, I got the combo of pizza, salad, and a 20 oz drink for $ 10. First time, I got the Caesar salad(with chicken. At no extra cost!) and the second I made my own salad and I got the house vinaigrette dressing. The house vinaigrette dressing wasn’t my favorite, so I’ll try to remember that. I have been pleased with both trips, so I’ll be sure to return to try other pizzas. By the way, I’m not sure if I mentioned it, but the man who took my order/made my pizza both times was extremely nice and helpful. One time there was a slight wait, and he apologized and gave me a large drink because of it. He also gave me a coupon for a $ 5 pizza. It is clear that he likes his job, and he wants customers to keep coming back. I suggest everyone try it.

Fresh ingredients, great customer service and good pizza what more can you ask for. Oh yes 5 minutes to cook a pizza you design. If Pizza Hut and Subway had a babu it would be PIEFIVE. New place to the area I think it had been open a few months and there is only one in Houston. I can see many more of these places coming soon. I learned of this from another Unilocaler’s review and bookmarked it for when I was in the area. When you visit get your«Circle of Crust» card and rack up points to free pizza. Two points for every pizza you buy and a free one after 20 points. You get 10 points just to register your card. Prices are decent $ 6.99 per pizza $ 10 for combo pizza, salad or dessert and drink. Not bad. Plus you don’t have to share if you don’t want to. Create your own pizza. Genius!!!

Pie Five’s is an interesting concept: build your own pizza choosing from a variety of crust types, sauces, cheeses, and an overload of veggie and meat toppings. Once they’ve built your pizza to your liking, it goes into a quick-bake oven that takes only a few minutes. They’ll also build a salad as a side option and offer brownie and cookie pies you can buy by the slice. Coca-cola fountain products are available as well. I had a good experience here. Firstly, I received a coupon in the mail for a free pizza, no purchase necessary. Secondly, they ended up giving me a free drink. Normally a personal 10″ pizza is $ 6.99 and a drink is a penny more, according to their manager. Getting the whole meal free was a great first impression for me, but probably not the best business move as the other two people in line had the same coupon. They at least paid for a salad, unlike freeloading me. The pizza itself was pretty decent. There’s a lot of great places to get a slice of pizza in this neighborhood, so their competition is fierce. However, it’s a unique concept and their meal and the experience is enjoyable. It’s a good place for groups. Long tables are available and, since you order individually at the counter, you don’t have to figure out the check at the end of the meal. Plus it’s in a shopping center so parking shouldn’t be an issue. I recommend checking this place out. I’ll most likely return next time I need a quick meal that’s tasty.

I was actually on my way to another restaurant, when I was invited in for their soft opening. Boy, was I blown away. First off, I really enjoy the concept — pick a crust, sauce, toppings — all in front of your eyes. But the pizza itself is actually really good. I know there’s probably no such thing as bad pizza — minus that cardboard you might accidentally buy in a drunk stupor in midtown, but this pizza blew my socks off. I had the Tuscan on thin crust. If you care about nutrition as much as flavor, you’ll enjoy this place. 600 – 700 calories per pizza. Look up the nutrition info on papa johns or domino’s. A SLICE is easily 250 – 300 calories. I’ll definitely be back for the grand opening and afterwards.
