Hmm what can I say about this place… it was ok but wasn’t a «omg I wanna go back» kinda place. Very limited self parking but there were valet guys saying«tips only!» When I get out of the car instead of «hello how’s it going?». I thought I ordered jumbo wings but they were skinny like Buffalo Wild Wings, waffle fries were very chick fil a, tater tots were very sonic, potato chips were very la Madeline, ordered a drink from their signature drink menu but no supply so got a jack Daniel with Diet Coke, fried pickles were better at Katz, my celery sticks were frozen and discolored. What’s so special about this place??? Did I miss anything?

Sauce never made it on the wing– buffalo flavored. Also the wings were over fried and dry. Slow service. Ver disappointed.

At 9pm sunday night we had to wait only 10 minutes, a group of 4. We were seated outdoor in the patio, there are ceiling fans and heaters there. As many mentioned, their waffle fries are actually quite good. You can order differrent flavors of wings in miltiples of 5. My wife and I ordered a 20 pc wings plate which did not disapoint. We ordered 5 of their hottest, which surprisingly was very hot, I could not eat more than one, my wife though finished the remaining 4. Service quick, food was good, ambiance was good and bill was reasonable. The valet outside is free, just tip him. Wins my business. Will return again in the future for a quick wing fix.

Kind of a odd place for a wing place in a sketchy neighborhood, there is very limited self parking so if it’s full then u have to valet but just need to tip, typically sports bar layout with lots of seating, their fried pickles is to die for, waffle fries were okay, the wings r big but I’m not really a fan of the flavor I got which was gar par, too much garlic, I’ll come back try other flavors

Worst service ever! Waiter freaking forgot my order and when we confronted him about it, he said, «that we never placed an order with him!» Wth!!! Dude you even asked if I wanted ranch or blue cheese and what side order did I want… um hello??? Won’t be coming back.

I still can’t understand how this place is so bad at serving customers. They train new employees during peak hours and increase customer wait time at the expense of this effort. Is this for real? + for finally fixing your potholes. It only took 6 months.

Came here with friends after a grueling bike ride and we were all super, extra hungry. Pluckers wasn’t super busy since it was already pretty late when we had arrive last night. We were seated immediately. Then completely looked over for over 10 minutes. The whole«your waiter will be right with you,» is the overstatement of the year. Finally we had to go back to the hostess stand and ASK for service. Their excuse was«for some reason your table wasn’t marked as active, we’re so sorry!» that’s it. Throughout the night it seemed like they had run out of all of their garnishes. Limes, green onions? nope! Wingers were overcooked and dry, even the seasoning couldn’t hide that a few of my drums were basically uneatable. The only plus was the appetizers. Holy mac & cheese is always so delicious. Servicewise, they were all more preoccupied with counting their tip money, fraternizing and cleaning than they were to servicing the few tables left. I really don’t care if there’s only a table or two left, you really shouldn’t be cussing up a storm and acting a damn fool while on the clock. Extremely unprofessional. I’ve had better service on nights that they were extremely busy. Genuinely liked Pluckers and would frequent it pretty often whenever I was craving fried mac & cheese. Now, I’ll be reluctant to return.

Went for lunch and ordered the«10 Wing lunch combo» jumbo wings and your choice of side… Get the waffle fries(yum). You can choose one sauce or 2 so I went with«Gochujang» and«Ginger Peach Sriracha». I like Asian flavors. The Gochujang sauce had a little kick and the Ginger Peach Sriracha was mild. Too bad they did not have Sriracha for my fries… I had to settle for Tobasco. Service was nice and attentive considering we were eating with the lunch rush. There is a decent size lot but if you show up after 12pm it could be challenging to locate a space in the lot. I will be back… By the way, Monday is all you can eat wings for $ 19/per person.

Other than the lack of parking and the sometimes very long wait times, I like it. I especially enjoy the Thursday drink special. Favorite flavors for the wings include gold rush and gochujang, although I think I’ve tried most of the others. I don’t prefer that their fried pickles are from spears, though.

Pluckers is a great hang out place in the Heights! I used to go to Pluckers in undergrad in Austin, so I was happy to hear they opened one in Houston. I have been to this location a few times– twice for lunch and once for dinner. Every time I have been here, it has been really busy! There’s a small parking lot in the front and I believe at night they offer valet parking. There’s also some street parking in the area as well if you don’t mind walking. They have a huge bar area and a huge seating area in the back. Service is usually decent despite how busy they always are. Food is never a disappointment. If you’re not on a New Years diet, try the fried pickles. They are pretty delicious! They offer a wide variety of appetizers, salads, burgers, sandwiches, and wings all at decent prices. The wings are always a great option! They also have specials for different days, so don’t forget to check those out as well. A huge perk is there are lots of TVs so it’s a great place to catch a game with group of friends. If you plan to come here, expect a wait, but you won’t regret it!

Bartenders were awesome today… and really have been much better in general. The manager actually reached out after our last issue… and I have been back several times since, but haven’t convinced my roommate. Still the best wings in Houston, and good atmosphere. Just be prepared to wait if you want a table.

Decided to give this place a try since the BBW around my friends place had such bad reviews. Their wings are a little over a dollar a piece but well worth the quality over the other places. The wings were meaty and well covered with sauce. Just enough sauce for a good flavor but not so much to be annoying and dripping all over your face when trying to eat. The flavors well rich and full and I can’t wait to go back and try some more when I get a chance. I can’t comment on the service since my order was togo. There is one spot in the beginning of the parking lot for togo order and thankfully no one had taken it. There were valets parking cars but a lot of people inside at the front waiting to be seated. I don’t know if I would dine here based on other reviews, but a togo order is a good option and these«jumbo» wings are definiitely worth a try if you have a wing craving.

Food: I had the wings(bone-in) and my wife had boneless wings. For the wings they do flavors in 5s. I got 3 different flavors; spicy lemon pepper, spicy ranch, and something else that was ok. Notice I don’t remember the name. My wife had spicy garlic Parmesan. We recommend these flavors. I’m a teacher so we received the free appetizer on Fridays. Great promo!!! Waffles fries were great. Drinks: I had the Batman and my wife had the Jameson Peach Tea. Both were great. Happy hour $ 1 off drinks. Service: Our server Nate was great. Hey that rhymed. I’m not a poet I promise! Hahahah. If you go ask for Nate’s area. Cleanliness: very clean dining and bar area Reminded me of our Kilroy’s chain back home in Indiana. A+ We will be back definitely and this time with friends!!!

Football fans, I’m hooked! Great place to watch a game! Super lively with cheap drinks that are a good variety, and every seat in the house is a GOODSEAT when you want to watch a game! I’m not a huge wing fan, but I definitely recommend this place for a loud, energetic time with fellow sports fanatics. Valet parking lot is always packed. Service at the bar was distant and unfriendly, but hopefully it was just a bad day. Normally sports bars are a damn good time with smiling bartenders that like to joke around. Check this link for their daily specials: Events change every week, and some are: Free App Fridays Trivia Kids Eat Free days Happy Hour Discounts on drinks As with any sports bar, I like to remind people to tip their table servers extra well if you are camping out for the whole game; if they can’t turn a table, they can’t make any money! Please help them out if they are good to you. :)

First time at Pluckers, I was definitely planning to be wowed since some of my friends rave on & on about how big & delicious their wings are. First thing my friends & I ordered was the appetizer sampler which included chicken bites, fried pickles, fried cheese sticks and fried mac & cheese. Appetizer sampler was okay, but nothing special or anything I would want to come back here for. I ordered only 5 wings, which I’m glad I did at the end. One friend ordered 15, and the other ordered 10. Flavors? I got to try a variety of them all since my friends ordered so many. Bakers gold, spicy ranch, spicy lemon pepper, hot buffalo & lemon pepper. All I had to say after trying these wings were… What did these people use to flavor these wings??? A bottle of Ozarka? The most boring flavorless wings I’ve ever tasted, now when it comes to size I was surprised. The wings at Pluckers are huge, but it doesn’t do much when your wings are bland & flavorless. Definitely a quality over quantity kind of person. What a waste of huge delicious chicken wings. You might as well give some other wing place your wing supplier’s number so they can make better use of them, because Plucker’s definitely isn’t anything I would recommend anyone to. Service on the other hand was polite & attentive which was my only reason to give this place two stars. I’m glad I only ordered 5 wings, this place was a waste of calories. Definitely brings a whole new definition to the term; empty calories. Just something to ponder on as I head to the gym for an hour of disappointment as I think of the wings I could have had elsewhere…

It was National Chicken Wing Day. My brother and I were stoked! We had to eat a wing place. I asked on FB and this place was the favorite. I can’t co-sign. The wings were dry because someone left them cooking too long. Experience ruined. I’m no sure if the cooks had a bad day, but the wings were a huge miss. If you can’t get it right on this historic day of days, I can’t fool with you. The dagger to the jugular was Pluckers didn’t even have specials on National Wing Day?!(See the photo of my tweet) Should have went to Hooters at least you know what to expect with their wings and they have… nice… uh staff…

Since my last review I have finally came back today. The manager had reached out to me regarding my last review and it’s great to have that kind of customer service! Everything was way better than last time, though they charge you per sauce or per season(for the fries), boo! I came with a group of family and friends and we shared everything. –Fried Pickles(5⁄5) the best ever! –Fried Cheese(3⁄5) can’t really go wrong with mozzarella sticks but they were okay. –Spicy Ranch Wings(5⁄5) these were my favorite out of all the flavors –Lemon Pepper Wings(3⁄5) I prefer wing stop –Spicy Lemon Pepper Wings(1⁄5) I’m not a fan of hot sauce, it was lemon pepper and regular hot sauce wings mixed together –Bakers Gold Wings(0⁄5) I don’t like sweet food much, but the guys liked it! –Cajun Fries(2⁄5) the Cajun, eh not so much. The spicy ranch seasoned fries… wayy better. –Sweet Tea(5⁄5) Delish! The service was great, she took care of us and was very patient and helpful!

Plucker’s IS the best wing bar in Houston! There I said it. It has great food, great beer, and plenty of sports on their TVs. First, the wings, both bone-in and boneless, are very good. Each version is cooked perfectly, and the wings taste fresh. The sauces are amazing as well. I really like the Baker’s Gold and Spicy Lemon Pepper sauces, but like all of the sauces and I haven’t had a sauce I didn’t like. Even the Fire in the Hole, which is incredibly hot(duh). Other menu items like the mozzarella sticks and Southwest Chicken Caesar Salad are exceptional as well. The Mozzarella Sticks are perfectly golden brown and taste like they are made fresh in the restaurant. The Southwest Caesar Salad is really good too, and since they will toss about anything in one of their signature sauces, you can get your chicken coated in your favorite sauce. I think the Baker’s Gold on the chicken really takes this salad to the next level. This place is almost always packed. I’ve shown up and the wait time was over 2 hours, and people wait for that long. That’s how good this place is. The offer free Valet which is nice since the parking is pretty awful in the Washington Corridor. Just a great place and I hope Houston gets more locations.

alitas de pollo eran excepcionales … servicio muy rápido y la camarera era lindo. La única razón es imposible encontrar 5 estrellas es porque el camarero con un mal corte de pelo fue grosero.
