It’s okay. Honestly I’ve had better snow cones. Some flavors are sweet and some aren’t. Haven’t tried much of the food. If you ask me, I think their menu is a little over priced, very weird prices. Like a hamburger may be $ 5.74 and a order of fries may be like $ 1.24. What the hell??? Any who… there’s a $ 10 min. Credit card charge, it use to be $ 5. To make a long review short, prices are increasing but not the quality of food and snow cones. What you pay for a burger basket there, you might as well order one To-go from Chilli’s. Parking is horrible, accident waiting to happen. Anybody giving this place 5 stars, has obviously not had any great snowcones in their life time. I’d rather drive 30 mins. away. Blue bubble gum didn’t even taste like blue bubble gum. The flavor are thinned out with something. OMG this place is the bomb… kind of pricey and there’s a $ 10 credit card minimum which forced me to order a sno ball, nachos and hamburger lol… I was not disappointed whatsoever

I don’t mind whole in the walls that aren’t in the most appeasing locations… you can find good food in such places. However, those saying that these are the best snoballs/cones have not had a real one. I compare everything to my spots in NOLA(e.g., plum street, hansens). I wouldn’t even give this place best in Houston(Mams likely takes that title). The ice was fairly smooth and they give you lots of syrup… but thats where it stops. We ordered 3 different flavors: strawberry cheesecake, cotton candy, and strawberry. I was very disappointed because everything tasted the same; very syrupy and couldn’t tell what was what. I truly could not distinguish the flavors. To me that either means they use the cheap stuff or add a bunch of clear syrup to stretch it out. Not good. To begin with the flavors are limited. I did not see any cream flavors. They have condensed milk, but I didn’t see an option to stuff(e.g., marshmallow cream or ice cream). Service ain’t too great either. The guy taking orders made an error; we put everything on a card. To correct the order we had to go on a scavenger hunt for some change instead of them letting it go and giving us what we asked for. One last thing… yall get spoons… it was hell eating my snow ball with the slurpee straw yall provided. No way. Keep it; I won’t be back. I rather drive across town.

I wish it was in a better part of town. Parking in a dusty lot sucks, and suck even more when theres no parking spots to park in. I’m a big fan of their snowcones. Some of the best I’ve ever had with so many choices for toppings and flavors.

Food was good. Service not the best. I had the double bacon cheeseburger and cheese fries.

Moving from Louisiana I was in need of a place that sells snowballs and let me tell you. this place does not disappoint. So good and so authentic! Reminded me of home! I also ordered a cheeseburger and fries because of the reviews and yes… my taste buds were in heaven! I ordered to go and when I arrived ten minutes later it was ready as they stated. They made the snowball once I arrived which didn’t take long at all. I will be returning!

Magical and delicious all around — now I know why people are lined up no matter time or day. Words can’t describe how amazing their snow cones are and awesome grill style food as well. Their Philly cheesesteaks melt in your mouth!

I have to go ahead and give the Red wagon 5 Stars. I’ve tried their juicy hamburgers they always make them exactly the way you order them. I’ve also tried their fish and shrimp which is crispy and divine. The snow cones are to die for! My favorite is wedding cake with extra cream I always end up getting a medium when I should have gotten a small. They taste as good as they look. There boudin balls are delectable also. They sell so many that sometimes they’re out so you might want to call early to find out if they have any. They also take call in orders. The line is sometimes long so if you’re on a lunch break you might want to call. If they don’t answer or if the phone is busy that just means that they’re busy making other orders and couldn’t get to the phone. Don’t forget to tip those brothers work hard:-)

This place is so awesome. The food tastes great and my favorite thing to eat is the philly cheese steak. The snow cones tastes great as well.

Definitely a place everyone should visit while in Houston! Especially on a hot day! Expect long lines during high time but other than that, no complaints!

I love snow cones on a very hot day. It was 100° outside so I decided I wanted to get a snow cone. I decided to go to the Red snow wagon because my friend was telling me that his brother went and loved it. We also looked at the Unilocal reviews glorifying their snow cones. I had doubt that it would be the best snow cone out there because all snow cones I’ve had pretty much tastes the same; however the reviews were on the money. This is by far the best snow cone I’ve ever had in my entire life! Unlike many snow cones out there, the shaved ice is blended well with the flavor. The liquid doesn’t go to the bottom of the cup leaving you with unflavored ice at the top, instead it is mixed in all the way through. The flavor is amazing and robust, it does not taste like cheap sweetened water. I had the wedding cake and my friend had the strawberry cheesecake, we both added cream to our snow cones. Of course I tried his snow coned… they were both delicious and I’m definitely going back and I am going to try their food also. The only negative is no spoons. The straws still work.

These sno cones are really good! The juiciest and tastiest sno cones I’ve ever had! The reason for only four stars is because of the wait. My sister sat for about 15 minutes before our cones were done! There seems to be a long wait because they cook food here as well. You order your items, pay and then they give you your receipt with a number on it. Once your order is finished, they call your number over a microphone. They need a better operational system because I can only imagine what it’s like on the weekend! They should also close in their patio and make it air conditioned where people can sit and eat. They have a lot of land to build on, so creating a larger business altogether wouldn’t be an issue. Overall I’ll be back all this summer when in town, for their sno cones!

All your creamy snow cone dreams will come true here. It’s always packed so have patience to wait in line. The food is good but the cream slushes are better!

Ok sooooo… AMAZING is an understatement. I have/will again and again stand in the cold for a one of these Devine flavor party snow cones! Just writing the review is making me salivate. So what makes a snow cone MAGICAL… I don’t know if it is the soft ice in the snow cone or the fact that every ice has the perfect amount of flavor. There will be no flavorless chunks of ice chunks in this amazing beaut. I thought initially that they had flavored ice chunks that they shaved to make the cone. I figured that could only be the explanation for the consistency of flavor. Well that was wrong they shave there ice and use a syrup clearly thee are angel kisses in the recipe somewhere because these snow cones will GIVEYOULIFE

Best worst kept secret in SE houston! Whether it’s winter or summer, afternoon or evening, weekday or weekend, Red Wagon is never short on customers or great food. Nestled in SE Houston between 288 and Beltway 8, this Houston Gem has been serving great food and snoballs to Houston residents for years. I myself personally love the Philly Cheesesteak sandwich. Gooey swiss cheese atop of perfectly cooked steak, and we’ll toasted bread. Could there be a better choice? If you’re looking for something else, don’t worry, there are seafood plated, burgers, and a lot of what nots that I sure will get your attention. The snoballs are also great, being from NO I appreciate the quality of their shaved ice. They are truly a Houston gem!

Go for the snocones, stay for the catfish! The catfish is the real deal. I love the spices and the breading is perfect. It’s a huge portion too! I believe the sign says you get 2 pieces on the plate but you really get 3 nice pieces with fries and bread. My husband and I usually share it so you know it’s enough. I’m not gonna lie tho, I sneak by there sometimes and get my own because it’s THAT good! I can’t speak for other food items bc I can’t tear myself away from the catfish. I bet the burgers are good tho. For snocones, I usually get Tiger’s Blood or Cherry with Wedding Cake to make it creamy! You can add cream but just know it’s condensed milk. I didn’t know that the first time and I didn’t like it too much. This place always has a bit of a line but that’s because it’s awesome. Go there, be patient, and be rewarded with a great meal. Oh yeah, and cash only! See you there!

I honestly don’t understand why anyone would post a review for this place that would be less then 5 stars. You won’t find a better snow-cone anywhere and it’s a simple process. Now, it’s not a very diverse demographic, and it’s not a restaurant by any means, but considering it’s a glorified snow come stand you should expect what you are getting Just plan to to take your food to go because there is honestly no seating. You will be shocked with how good the food is. It’s just great, just come.
