Was pretty excited to try this place out but I was really disappointed. Although we came on a Finals game night, the service was the worst I’ve ever had. It took 55 minutes to ever get our drinks, which were warm when we finally received them. The tables around us who had a different server and arrived after us were already on their second round. I think I saw our waitress a total of 5 times over the course of 3 hours. I could go on and on. The only reason I’m giving 2 stars is because the manager was relatively generous to us when we finally were able to pay out.

Drunken a**holes hassling me about my dog’s breed, clouds of cig smoke in the only tiny covered place I can take my dog. Dog friendly? Maybe they have a tiny little space for that, but the clientele definitely isn’t. Who gets that wasted before noon on a Sunday? Add in no parking due to every car taking up two spots. I don’t care how good the menu or beer list is; this is a major FAIL. I appreciate the kind words of regret from the owner, but it will be a while before I get over that drunken jackass spewing the same g***amn thing over and over. That’s not just a mild buzz at brunch, that’s «you’ve got a drinking problem and showed up at the brunch already wasted» kind of obnoxious. I don’t want to put up with that kind of s**t whether I’m with my dog or not. Maybe next time, just close the patio if you have a «special» party or isolate them into some other part of the restaurant. Oh, and I was talking about covered space on the patio since 9 times out of 10 it is raining or about to rain this time of year. «Uncovered space» in Houston is only useful at night and even then when its not raining. How many tables are there in that spacious 600 square feet? My dog and I were relegated to a bench with no table and no wait staff in sight for 15 minutes at the very edge of the roof where the rain was definitely blowing in. Sorry to be so negative, but my experience sucked eggs. I’m glad you support animal welfare in Houston, because God knows someone has to, but I wouldn’t be so eager to promote the pet friendly aspect on your website and social media if I were you.

Fun atmosphere, great choice of drafts and beers and great food too. Def a relaxing bar to get food or hang out near the Menil collection and Rothko chapel.

Service was good and drinks were alright. Food wasn’t impressive. My wallet fell out of my purse and they held it for me until the next day. I appreciated that. I would go back, but would eat first.

Really 4.5 stars, but it’s not an option, 5 stars would require a non creepy shoulder rub, but that’s another situation. Anyways, my GF and I hit up Revelry after needing to Woo-Sah through a crazy high mechanic’s bill. We sat at the bar and we’re greeted by a very chipper and talkative Rachel S. She was informative about the generous sized beer list(they have Bishop’s Barrel, 13 I believe) and gave her positive opinion on the HH eats. The BBQ and Porter chicken tenders are good choice and I was a fan of the fish taco. Another bartender, also Rachel, was also friendly and provided great service. Our 2nd visit was for my birthday and a party of 11 people. We had a great time(even before things got woozy). We started at a long table but quickly claimed a lounge-like area on the side of the stage. With constant drink orders, a dozen conversations going, and our stupid party games, our waitress Alex was patient, extremely friendly and looked a lot like Bernadette from The Big Bang Theory(a bonus in this geek’s opinion). Some side notes I’d like to add; what I believe was a manager came over to us and asked if we wanted the sounds of the game or the house music on the speaker in our area. The ladies of the group really appreciated that. Second, we noticed how other staff members helped out when Alex was getting bombarded. Very big in our book. Finally the musician, Patrick Fleming was on stage and was great about tolerating our antics, calling out it was birthday and singing Happy Birthday(twice I think, was woozy by that point). Anyways, check this place out, it’s fun, relaxed and has a nice patio that we will check out if it ever stops raining in Houston.

I was trying to decide where I would watch Game 1 of the NBA Finals last night when I saw a Facebook post by Revelry stating that their Thursday night special is a burger, fries, and a pint of craft beer for $ 12. I was immediately sold. I had been to Revelry before(for a March Madness game) and the atmosphere was good, lots of televisions, great beer on tap, okay prices, and decent service. So, I already knew the place could be trusted. We got to the place and decided to sit out side in the back patio area. They have a really cool Houston brew mural and Texas flag picnic tables and life size pong setup. We sat down to watch the game and ordered the Revelry Burger for me and the Houston Sunrise burger for my girlfriend, both medium. The Revelry Burger came with bleu cheese, bacon, and crispy onions on a pretzel bun and man was it delicious! All the flavors were simply fantastic, burger was cooked to perfection and the pretzel bun was soft and warm. The Houston Sunrise had American cheese, bacon, and a fried egg on Texas toast. It was also very solid. I preferred my burger, but then again, I ordered it so I would expect that. The fries were good too though nothing special. Overall, we will definitely be back for the burger special night. Check this place out if you get a chance.

Went in for drinks on Friday night. Live music was not my kind of vibe for a Friday night, but the patio was cool. If you sit outside there are plenty of fans for those steamy Houston nights and tvs. Valet parking is available for $ 5.00 or you can self park. Happy hour lasts until 9pm on Friday and the specials are pretty good. I liked the vibe and the crowd, I would certainly visit them again.

The servers were friendly and helpful, the mixed drinks were really good and creative, and the food was good. I liked the atmosphere. It wasn’t overly crowded or loud. They also have a steak night on Mondays, which is what got us to try the place. But honestly the regular menu looked really good, so I’ll have to go back.

We came here on a Friday after work for Happy Hour and had a fun time! The nachos and soft pretzel were HUGE! We also tried their chicken and shrimp tacos. The frozen margaritas paired well with the food(definitely want to have something to munch on with the hand-made drinks). There’s a ton of bar and table seating inside and plenty of outdoor seats too. It’s nice and cool inside as well as smoke-free! The bartender was friendly and even made sure I didn’t leave before he handed back my little notebook I forgot on the bar. They also have neat phone charging stations if your battery is running low. Overall we felt this Happy Hour was a great value and will visit again soon!

My girlfriend wanted to treat me to a birthday brunch and upon my initial encounter with the bouncer, I was a bit turned off. Thankfully, he was the worst part of the experience. I loved this place. The rain didn’t stop folks from coming out and enjoying the Rockets game and the environment. The music was great and I wouldn’t have expected them to be so liberal with their selections. The restrooms were some of the cleanest and prettiest I’ve ever seen for a bar. As an amateur beer drinker, I appreciated the fact that they had a menu and tv showing the options by their styles«fruity and spicy». It made it much easier for me to decide what I wanted… the victory golden monkey. Most importantly, I loved my food. I selected the grilled cheese and my goodness, it was intense. My girlfriend was ecstatic about her steak and pretzel. I was also extremely impressed with the seasoning of the boiled shrimp. I’d like to thank Bryan for being such a quality manager and the other gentlemen who was responsible for managing the crawfish. They made sure I was a very happy birthday girl and I will definitely be back on my next trip to Houston.

A lot of beer choices to choose from! Spacious place to have a big group hangout. The food menu was priced a bit too much for the quality of the food. Heard the specials were good though but we missed it since the kitchen closed so early! Why 3 stars? Bartender wasn’t attentive and welcoming when we first walked in. We had to try and get their attention to order but they saw us sit down and didn’t greet us.

We went to Revelry on Richmond for a crawfish boil, and it was really fun. The had their back porch open and were serving giant plates of crawfish, with corn, potatoes, and, of course, beer. The inside is a bit dark for the middle of the day, but the patio is a great spot for hanging out with friends.

When you want to grab a drink with your BFFFB(a term I learned from a second grader — best friends forever for boys) after a long day at work, or you want to just come here and unwind while watching some b-ball action, this place just hits the spot. The two or three times that I have been here is usually for a social event for a professional organization that has this place in their rotation of locations. They have a great happy hour that lasts until 7:00 pm but for our group they extended it up until 9:00 pm. Everything on the menu is $ 5. The highlight for my group of friends is their chips & queso. The queso is made with either a blend of two different cheeses i.e. a sharp cheddar and monterrey jack or just some white cheese with a little kick to it. If you don’t like foods that have a little spice factor after you bite into it then this may not be for you. But if you are a Texan then you will definitely enjoy this treat. The place has ample seats like an establishment of this sort should and the patio is a nice place to hang out if you are a social person as the music inside along with the crowd at their peak hours can get a little overwhelming at times. The parking situation: Although there is a parking lot by the entrance, I seem to never find parking there because like I said before — the handful of times I have come here is for a young professional’s social hour … Otherwise, I imagine the parking would be a non-issue. The last time I went they had excellent service. If you like going to bars with plentiful selections and just as many TVs, then this place might just hit the spot. Also, this is a good spot for people watching from all walks of life unlike the gentrified midtown scenery of prep school drop outs.

Friendly server, nice ambiance and a good place to have beers. Very slow service. Bring a neck pillow to take a nap in between wait times. If you want food then go somewhere else. We ordered burgers, tacos, chicken sandwich and nothing was spectacular. Regarding the chicken sandwich(Hot Chick), the amount of calories you gain by eating this tasteless item are easily dissipated by the amount of chewing you have to do just so to swallow this utter firm-textured garbage. The fries look as if they are bought from McDonalds. Now Burger King would have been a better option. Now, the ketchup and mustard — Kudos to these two bottles on the table for saving the day.

Stopped in for happy hour. The ambience is nice and rustic. Cool place to meet friends. I was disappointed that they don’t have a margarita on the happy hour menu. The happy hour menu was rather limited so I went with sangria. It was ok. I tried the chicken tenders and Parmesan fries. They were ok as well. I’d go back to meet friends. The food and drinks didn’t wow me though. I am curious about the burgers. I think I will try that next time.

It’s your basic pub grub: the food is good and the beer is cold. There’s lots of space for groups, and lots of TVs so you’ll catch your game whatever it is. I find it interesting that it’s rated as high as it is, and I’m assuming the atmosphere must be what appeals. It’s like Buffalo Wild Wings without being a corporate chain, so it’s a great spot for watching sports. If you’re a foodie who likes watching sports, you’re not missing too much if Revelry slips through the cracks. Feels a bit like a Chili’s to me. I hate to say that, as I really wanted to love Revelry, but it didn’t do it for me. Granted, the food was better than Chili’s! We had the pretzel, which was soft and slightly sweet. It came with queso, honey mustard, and a cinnamon butter that were very Randall’s-quality, but we are all of it without complaints. We also split the Superior Mario Burger, which again was good but nothing to write home about. I’d give the pretzel and the burger 3.5 stars: satisfying and gets the job done, but didn’t differentiate from the plethora of pretzels and burgers available at any other bar. We got our beers, $ 5 Texas pints, which were fine but not necessarily poured well. For my boyfriend who is into beer pointed out that there was no foam head on either of ours, and neither of them were full. This doesn’t become a huge issue for me until you’re paying 25% more than you would down the street, where you can also find a much better beer selection. At 7:00 on a Thursday, there were two servers for the 20+ tables that were seated. I felt so bad for her, literally scrambling to keep the more-intoxicated guests from yelling across the place. Not saying this is anything too out of the usual, but as a former restaurant employee I hate to watch servers under that much stress.

This is a fun bar on Richmond. It is a relaxed atmosphere with great bar bites and an ample beer selection. It has both indoor and outdoor seating. It is not very close to other bars, but probably a long walk would get you to some other places if you aren’t opposed to walking. I personally love the music the best out of anything else that this place offers. It plays retro hits that pretty much everyone knows and loves.

Good food and an even better beer selection make this a place I enjoy coming back to over and over. I’ve come here mostly for Clemson events but also for other reasons, like a graduation celebration. I think Friday is a great day to come, because they have a great Happy Hour on Friday. It lasts until 9pm and has Texas pints on it, so I’m a fan. I’ve only eaten here a couple of times and I think it has been pretty good. I did get some slightly frozen tuna in my Ahi Cocktial, but it’s not a huge deal considering the rest of it was fine and tasted great. Chips and Queso is also good. I snack on that a bunch. Also, the pretzels… get in my BELLY! So good! Beer selection is on point, for both drafts and bottles. They have a very good selection of local Texas and Houston beers, as well as great beers from the US and Europe. It’s one of the few places with Sours on draft and in the bottle. Patio is nice when the weather cooperates and is dog-friendly. The patio has great seating, a dart board, and cornhole. What else do you want? Oh, and there is giant Beer Pong too. Overall, I’m a fan and I will be back again.

The red walls are gone, replaced with cream and taupe, plus some cool Revelry décor. It looks really awesome! The weather has been great and I was able to check out their patio area out back. There’s a cool mural, 2 good sized and well placed TVs and some great sitting options. Why still the 4 Stars? If you’re not there for Happy Hour, the average beer is $ 6 or more which adds up to a hefty bill if you order more than one. The same beer I had last night, I have had elsewhere for $ 4. So in that respect, I can’t give 4 stars because that would mean I’m happy about all aspects of the business and that it isn’t lacking in all I desire from a sports bar.

I wish I could give a 3.5, because 3 does seem a bit low. Good bar food. Plenty of vegetarian and fish options, for those who don’t want burgers! Great beer list — including tons of local and Texas options. They have outside seating — complete with games! Great staff! Great happy hour — ’til 9 on Fridays(and maybe more days, we were there on a Friday)! Cons? Parking. It sucks. They have valet, but I hate paying for valet unless I have to. We found street parking on a residential street a block behind the bar. And(this is going to make me sound like a grumpy old lady) this bar is just WAYTOOLOUD. I know it’s a bar, but even sitting next to my boyfriend and shouting, I could barely hear him. I would NOT want to come here with a group, because there’s no way you could hear even the person one down from the person next to you.
