Hmmm, what should I say about this Sonic? It’s a Sonic. It serves mediocre, calorie-laden fast food. And lots of fun, creative desserts! The service at this location has been unremarkable, in my experience. I haven’t seen anything that has distinguished this Sonic from any other location I’ve visited. I will say that it’s nice to see a Sonic in the city; it’s seems they are mostly in the suburbs. Also, there’s something about their tater tots that is addicting to me. It’s weird, but once I start eating their tater tots, I feel a little crazy, like I MUSTEATTHEMALL! Anyway. Sonic.

Well. The chicken sandwich I just received from the Sonic dude looked NOTHING like their ‘Ultimate Chicken Sandwich’ ad. Smh, thumbs down Sonic. Guess I’ll stick to Chick Fil A for the chicken sandwiches. Even on Sundays when they don’t open I’ll stay true to them. Because this was a huge disappointment. My bottom bun was stiff and stale. There was little to no mayo so when I say I guzzled my Dr. Pepper while eating this, I’m not lying. And to make matters worse, the Sonic dude gave us no ketchup in our bags so it’s not like I could have drenched my sandwich and made it a tad bit more moist. All in all, I won’t be coming back.

Everytime I have visited this location, I am blown away at the friendliness of the staff and the cleanliness of the property. Every employee I have encountered has always used proper manners. This makes a huge difference between a good experience or a poor experience. Way to go Sonic! Keep up the great work.

Went here today for a quick lunch. The food was marginal, but the really interesting thing was that I asked for pepper and the carhop said they don’t have pepper, only salt. Really? How can you not have pepper? She was nice enough, but I think maybe she just said that because she didn’t want to have to go back in to get it. Mind you, this was after I had already given her a tip.

Service is TERRIBLE!!! Employees are extremely rude and unprofessional. I live nearby and will drive to the other side of town before going to that establishment again. My order was wrong and cold, and when I brought it to the team members attention it was as if I was inconveniencing her! Do not waste your time or money!!!

I have come here a couple times recently while cruising with my sun roof down. Houston weather has been amazing this week; however, the drive-through can be SLOW. At least there is a turning lane from Washington, or I would’ve subtracted another star. I would only come here for a cold drink on a beautiful day when I don’t mind waiting in the sun for 10 – 15 minutes.

This is my second time here. First time went ok. This time I used my card at kiosk. And when carhop came she said, it didn’t show I paid. So she went inside with my card, and came back with a receipt with a higher total and not my card number on receipt. Just a little skeptical and will be keeping an eye on my statement. Just a warning to others. Otherwise great service.

Worst service and extremely rude employees. I rarely order the food here but I do like the flavored drinks especially during happy hour. If I can make it before four I order a simple drink. Diet vanilla doctor pepper. No difficult to comprehend but this location almost ALWAYS gets it wrong. The employees have zero respect for the customers when they make mistakes. Needless to say I will not be returning to this location. Not worth the trouble just for a drink.

This is the worst Sonic Drive — in ever!!! Every other area Sonic has half — priced burgers Tuesdays after 5:00 p.m. Not these weirdos! Every other area Sonic has large drinks for $.99 till 11 a.m. Not so in the Heights! Leave it to the area Libturds to not run specials like every other Texas drive-in.

I love sonic and this one is pretty good. However, they usually get the order wrong. Don’t know how many times I’ve paid $.70 to add bacon only to discover there is none. Check your order before you drive off!

This sonic has always been subpar however tonight was horrible. We got 2 burgers with tots and cherry limeaids. The burger buns were soggy and they forgot my hubby’s jalapeños, the tots were also soggy and the mixed the drinks so bad they were un-drinkable. It’s worth the drive to the one up shepherd for better quality sonic food.

A sonic with a drive-thru? WTH? Well, it was a welcome addition seeing as I didn’t feel like sitting there to wait on a server to come out. Plus it was raining and that just sucks for the person who has to come out as well. Not a fan of chain restaurants but they have a good selection of sugar drinks and I was craving one that day. So far the staff that is working is pleasant and happy(maybe because it is new?) We will see how long it lasts.

MYDREAMHASCOMETRUE. I am so glad to have a Sonic inside the loop! Excellent cherry limeades, burgers and chili dogs… finally a close location! The Supersonic Breakfast Burrito is an excellent drive through breakfast option and a great hangover cure. This location is especially nice and convenient.

I AM super thrilled that a Sonic has finally opened up close enough to our loft; I mean, c’mon, I always running up and down Washington for one reason or another. I absolutely love their ice, but who doesn’t?!? My fave all-time drink is the Strawberry Limeade; it is killer!(I wonder how great it would be with a tad bit of vodka, lol) I also love their tator tots; they are so crispy and juicy. Another fave thing is the corn dogs! Yes, corn dogs, they are always crispy and the outside and makes a great snack food. Thanks for coming to the area guys!!!

It’s sonic, standard fair, takes forever to get our food, messed up the billing, took forever again. Nothing changes under the sun; now where is my tagament? Ok now on to the important stuff, the food it did take a while to get. But my Chicago dog was pretty spot on, though it could’ve benefited from additional sport peppers, and found one that was really dark(well past it’s prime) they also lacked the neon green relish, but for $ 2.29 whose complaining(aside from the heart burn). Chili cheese tots are delicious, though they did stick to the bag, and were kind of poorly packed. My friends enjoyed their food, in fact one of my buddies finished his before we pulled into the house(seriously 2 – 3 minutes away). That should give you some idea how good it is or can be. Now the problem we asked them to split the ticket into equal portions as we paid with 2 separate cards, those brain surgeons billed one for $ 6.94 and one for $ 14 and some change? Is that evenly split, absolutely not so one of my buddies got stuck paying the brunt of the bill — cost our attendant his tip too(though I realize it’s not his fault). The manager obviously doesn’t know what he or she is doing and it shows. Nice addition to the neighborhood, hope they iron out the small issues.
