I love the location of this Starbucks since it’s kind of a mid-way point between downtown and Galleria so meeting people is easy. The atmosphere is relaxed too but they close way too early(8 on Sunday) for a central location like this. Pro tip regarding outlets: The one on the wall doesn’t work, but under the windows they have a plug mold that has several working outlets.

Agree with previous poster — I just moved in to town and this is a great Starbucks. Staff is friendly and very good at their job and the store is clean and well run. Only odd thing is all the ppl who come in on weekend during their marathon trainings and are all sweaty and loitering.

Feeling a bit thirsty before I next adventure, my boyfriend and I stopped by here to grab a drink. We ordered 2STRAWBERRYACAIS and it was a bit too sweet, but that was fine. Usually this drink is a hit or miss depending on who’s the barista and how much syrup they put in. The service was alright, I’ve had friendlier assistance elsewhere. It just so happens that the location was convenient when we needed a drink. Good olé starbucks popping up everywhere whenever you’re thirsty.

I was trying to call in an order for a to go pot of coffee to bring to my office. No one would pick up the phone despite calling for 15 min straight. 7:30 am! Finally phone was picked up. There was heavy breathing and a hang up. When I drove by later the place was open. It is necessary to call ahead if one does not want to wait 20 min.

I don’t get the other reviews. The staff is friendly, it’s clean, and is a solid Starbucks. Parking is definitely limited, but that’s not their fault.

I frequent this Starbucks before and after work. The parking is decent depending on the time of day, seating is limited, normally when I go I can find a table

What a great place. Nicest people. Great service. The low rating is BS. People come here all the time, and keep coming.

Just echoing what other folks have mentioned — really is a very rude staff. One of the ladies working there was friendly, the rest can’t be bothered. Friendly lady — this star’s for you! And just to get your blood pressure up before you walk in, the parking lot is a pain — lines are painted way too close, lanes are narrow. Won’t be coming to this Starbucks again.

With more than 23,187 Starbuck locations in the world as of July 2014 there has to be a store ranked number one in the world and one ranked 23,187th or last or simply known as the worst Starbucks location ever, I believe this location is competing for the worst. My visit was mid-afternoon it wasn’t very busy so once I finally was able to score a parking space in the cramped over crowded parking lot I figured this would be a quick in and out experience. That wasn’t going to happened as I walked through the door I noticed no one was behind the counter and since no was at the counter I thought once I walked up to the register a friendly member of the staff will appear eager to greet their customer with a smile. As I waited and waited and waited finally a life form appeared from the abyss but never looked my way and started routinely washing utensils and wiping the bar back as he spoke loudly to an unidentified being in the back room. Finally by accident and before I made it clear that I was standing and waiting because I wanted to purchase one of their products I was acknowledged. Perhaps the wise move would of been to walk away and write off the time I wasted to not reading the reviews before pulling into this… place disguised as a Starbucks but noooooo my addiction wouldn’t allow that so I paid the premium price tag for what I think is the worst cup of anything put in a cup under the Starbucks logo ever and received no thank you or have a crappy day or anything else. Bad timing? perhaps, lack of management? for sure, deserves a bookmark? only to remind me to never return.

Worst location ever. The staff is the most unprofessional I have ever dealt with. Keep driving until the next Starbucks shows up.

This Starbucks has quite possibly the rudest staff I have ever encountered at any Sbux. Never a «Hello, how are you today? What MAY I get for you today?» Instead I am greeted with«What can I get for you?» The rudest character is the overweight woman who runs that place. Today I was never greeted or felt like my business was appreciated, which is pretty sad considering their tip jar looked pretty empty. Only two people today(and if ever) were nice enough to at least smile and say thank you — the older woman with coral lipstick and the tall guy with longer hair. They are the only two I would keep if I managed that place. Also, Saturday and Sunday mornings are overrun with road cyclists! Good luck finding a spot on the patio when there are bikes everywhere with sweaty men gulping iced mochas. Sadly I live right across the street and this is THE only reason I suffer the horrible customer service. Which I fine… I get my coffee with convenience and the baristas get no tips. Maybe they will read this review and take more pride in their job.

This location sucks. Sometimes, you have to meet up a client and they pick the place so you’re stuck with this. First off, the parking here sucks! There are way too many businesses sharing one small lot. Certain businesses have spots roped off and well this is starbucks, so people sit around. I ended up getting lucky and finding a spot all the way in the back of the lot. Others camp around waiting for a spot. Once inside the drinks and service are what you would expect. There are not a lot of tables and from what I could find only 1 electric outlet. And that one outlet, you guessed it, not working. So my laptop was dying slowly.

I’ve been going to Starbucks since the 90’s. I used to think that they were the end-all to coffee. After experiencing several recent wrong orders(example: whipped cream, when I asked twice for no whip cream) and having a white chocolate mocha that nearly blew my intestines out, I can fairly say that they are no longer the end-all. I have since found better places with better coffee and friendlier people. I was not surprised when I found out that this location is the same location that turned away the wounded veteran and his service dog. Instead of taking one step-forward, Starbucks has taken two steps back and will never be my first choice for coffee ever again. One star is all you get.

Decided to stop by this morning and get a cup of hazelnut coffee. Kinda busy here at this location. The parking wasn’t to bad, but I can see how it would be. You can go next door if you want something from the Kolache Factory. You’ve seen one Starbucks, you’ve seen them all.

2 stars for location but otherwise nothing to recommend it-grimy and overused inside, always packed and slow service.

Hmmm… I give you two stars for being close to the park and for having a water fountain outside for runners. I don’t frequent this one that much but that’s my two cents/or two stars worth…

As far as Starbucks goes, this location is far below ideal. I think the store gets a lot of traffic going/coming from Memorial Park. Another plus is that it’s right next door to the Kolache Factory(yum!). However the interior is outdated and hasn’t gotten the spiffing up you see in other locations. Most disheartening, though, is the outside seating. There are tables, yes, but the chairs are a mess. I was quite convinced that the seat of the chair I was sitting in would break. With regards to food and drink, this place is just as good as any other.
