Sunglass Hut

Purchased a pair of sunglasses online and wanted a different case for them. Went in to this location and the employee let me trade in my case for any other Rayban case. Great customer service!

Went to the west gray store @ 10:30… Store wasn’t opened nor was the phone being answered. Called Stacy in rice village and she is AWESOME!!! She not only tried to help me find what I was looking for online while on the phone she recommended great sunglasses.
Seeing how awesome her customer service was just over the phone I drove there just to see what they had. She was soooooo helpful and honest. I bought a pair just because she was so helpful. If you’re in the market for sunglasses go see her! Selection in the store was about 3 of 5 stars, but Stacy made it a 5 star experience!!!

I bought a $ 150 pair of Polo Ralph Lauren sunglasses 13 months ago thinking I was investing in a quality pair which would last a long time if taken care of. Treated the pair like a baby but almost 13 months to the day, the right arm came off leaving the screw assembly behind. I took it into this store but they told me they couldn’t do much since the warranty period was over. They couldn’t even replace the arm (I would have been happy to pay for that service).
At that point I belatedly did an internet search for the exact model and found it available for $ 75, meaning it had been marked up at least 2-​fold. Lesson — go into SH to try out a brand you like but it’s not worth it to give them you business, buy the pair you tried online for a hefty discount over the SH price. SH is a bit of a scam overall.

I stopped at this West U SGH because it was on my way to see someone. My wife’s birthday was soon and she neded some new sunglasses. Timothy, the store mgr, listened carefully while I described my wife and then recommended two options. I chose the Tiffany brand and my wife loves them. She stopped at the SGH in our neighborhood (sugar land) just to see if I made the right choice and kept the glasses I bought. When I had eye surgery and could wear sunglasses without prescription I headed back to West U to see Timothy. Again, I was not disappointed. I must have tried on 30 pair and his commentary was spot on. He was training Norm the day we were there and he also had good thoughts on my glasses. You wouldn’t think the guy in the SGH would have such professionalism but they do. Travel to Timothy’s SGH. you’ll be glad you did… Mark H in Sugar Land

Since my office is on Kirby, I like to come to Rice Village on my lunch breaks and roam around. Decided to check out some shades at this location and found the sales associate to be very very nice. He offered me their 20% employee discount promotion that was going on for the week, thought that was very generous and kind of him. Decided not to buy anything that day but returned the next day to buy some for a friend’s birthday gift. It was a different sales associate at the time but I mentioned how I was offered the discount by the other employee and they were willing to give it to me without a fight.
Love Sunglass Hut’s return policy (up to 3 months to return with orginal receipt) and love the customer service!
