Worst buffet/restaurant I’ve ever been in Houston! We went at 9:00pm, the food was cold, desserts awful– ice cream machine off. We were the only ones in the restaurant. The food was really, really, really bad. I would give 0 stars of I could. Horrible!!!

This is buffet done right! They put out very limited food. Hence, it’s always freshly cooked when you walk up to the buffet. I love their soups and their shrimp chips and also the Fish with veg they serve. I’m almost always over eating when I visit this place.

1 star for cleanliness. Food might look good, but has no flavor. The chicken satay was dry and burnt. The sushi is gross and has no flavor, the fried rice was dry and old. Basically all their food was old and the flavors sucked. Will never come back again and won’t recommend. The(owner?) was nice enough to ask if we would like them to make a drunken chicken with no alcohol. Service was good, the place looks clean, but the food has no flavor.

So this is a good little restaurant. I expected a little more variety but overall the food was really good. This buffet has their items out in small plates/bowls, which is a plus since they cook put out smaller batches rather than leaving larger batches out for longer periods of time. The food tasted fresher than most buffets so a big plus! Service was great and my tea glass stayed full(my tip meter). Worth trying out!

I have only had their delivery, but the service I have received has been great! They even brought an extra drink for me last time I ordered from them. I love the Tom Kha Gai soup here, and the steamed dumplings are really good.

Worst service ever. If I could give zero stars, I would. The server took forever to sit us down. When we sat down we asked for a regular menu instead of buffet and she gave us a huge attitude so we went for the buffet instead. The worst was when she came over and asked me about my ethnicity. When she found out I couldn’t speak Chinese but that my friend at our table could, she started bad mouthing me and kept commenting about my weight in Chinese and suggesting that she talk to me about it.(I can understand Chinese fine, I’m just not fluent so I choose not to let people know I can speak it). I’ve never been so humiliated in my entire life. She then went on and casually tried to be polite to me. The food was cold, the curry was cheaply made. The sushi looked great but smelled like it was out there for hours. Nothing was authentic. I like Thai Spice but this place is horrible, don’t go here.

Been here many times before until today when while eating my second plate we found a dead roach in it. It was a dead roach half a penny size. What was so disappointing it’s when we made the manager aware she said sorry picked up the plate and continued like nothing ever happened. She did not care. Made it seem like this is not the first time that this has happened. Unimaginably Gross. We are never going back. By the way we found it in the spicy potato mix.

I was kind of hesitant to try the place but everything was surprisingly great for the 12 $ dinner price. There’s a variety of thai foods laid out, including sushi, soups, and desserts. Definitely Must try the fried sushi(regular sushi rolls are a little dry), green curry chicken, different tofu dishes, and the coconut frozen yogurt. The inside looks pretty nice with booths to sit on. There’s also a private room for a big party. Will come again!

This place has gone downhill. I used to enjoy it but today everything was lacking. I came at the height of lunch hour and the food was mostly cold/congealed/overcooked. Even the coconut ice cream smelled rancid. Won’t be back again, definitely not worth the $ 10.

Thai spice is great for a rainy day delivery! They have the best ginger chicken ever. Highly recommend this place for anyone wanting delivery for lunch or dinner! Most of their dishes are great.

My husband & I were in the mood for something laid back & delicious. We totally scored on this little gem. I recommend the green curry chicken & royal dumplings! The coconut ice cream is my new favorite.

Really good. The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is because the location in Rice Village is better, more flavor. But this location is still really good and does have more options

I’ve been coming here for years and the food has always been consistently good. This is a good beginners course for Thai food. Small buffet dishes are routinely rotated to ensure freshness. The seafood is A-ok for a buffet. The clams in particular are good. There is a good balance of heavy, fried options like cheese rolls and shrimp to very light and fresh tofu dishes and lettuce wraps. If you are looking for a good protein fix, go for the chicken satay, ginger beef or basil chicken. Unfortunately it appears that the coconut ice cream machine has been removed, womp womp.

I was pleasantly surprised. The buffet is set up with small portions that they change regularly. Every dish I tried was good and different from one another. At so many buffets, everything tastes almost identical, it was not the case here. The soft serve coconut milk and fried bananas were delicious.

This is my go– to Thai place when I want both curry and pad thai. I always come around lunch time bc that’s when the food is fresh and it’s a better deal. I love allllll of the Curry options and of course the pad thai. They also have chicken satay and fried dumplings and sushi(bc why not?!) the food isn’t as fresh obviously when it’s dead time but I haven’t had a problem with waiting on something I really want when it’s a weird hour of the day.

Holy moly… how can this place have such a low rating? IT. IS. AWESOME. Husband and I found this gem during our last day in Houston. We needed lunch before heading back to Philadelphia and thought this place might do the trick. We were hesitant because of the reviews… I’m really glad we went. Firstly — 1pm on a Tuesday. Some people, but not crazy busy and not empty. Several parties of two and three trickled in as we ate, and by the time we left it was fairly busy. Secondly, the buffet is QUITE extensive. And it is all very fresh, very hot. This isn’t the type of place where it’s just never-ending pans of heat-lamped junk. This food is the real deal. My husband and I have visited Thailand. We’ve eaten *real* Thai food. We took an all-day cooking class to learn to make *real* Thai food. This food is *real* Thai food. Someone commented that this was standard buffet fare… no way. The curries were amazing and fresh and home-made. The chicken was all white meat, tender, and flavorful. The food is presented on white plates that are constantly being refreshed. No worries that your pad thai(which was the best I’ve had outside of Bangkok) has been sitting around for 2 hours. I had some of the sushi, which was acceptable for buffet-line sushi. I wish I could have eaten more because even when I was full to the point of bursting, I wanted to just keep eating it. The subtle cilantro and coconut flavors are amazing. There were several dessert options: fried bananas, tapioca pudding, black rice pudding, and bananas in cream, as well as a coffee-mousse cake and an orange mousse cake. I wish such a place existed in Philadelphia because I’d eat there every. damn. day. Houstonians! You’re missing a REALLYGREATPLACE if you don’t go here. Don’t let the i-don’t-know-how-they-can-give-it-less-than-five-stars ratings get you down.

Pretty standard issue buffet. Could have been better. Seems like it’s run by Chinese not thai. This fact is evidenced from the taste of food and preferences in served dishes. I ate like a pig coz I was dying of hunger when I walked in. This place has a great potential… but the food is extremely average. Don’t come in here if you want a full blown taste extravaganza.. but if you are famished and would like a bite to eat… walk right it. It’s relatively cheap(ish).

By far the best Thai food I’ve had in Houston. Place is very clean; selection is nice and presented well. I love that they cook in small portions so the food doesn’t dry out. It’s smells wonderful, I’ll be back and I’m bring Friends.

Wow! My wife, son, and I went here for a late dinner on Sunday night. We recently moved to the area and had not been here before. We found it on GrubHub. We ordered take out but then decided to stay and eat. Décor is pretty bad and the place was empty so things did not look promising. But I was totally surprised. Food was some of the best Thai food I have ever had. We had tiger cry, chicken and glass noodle salad, and chicken and onion stir fry. Every dish was great. I also had a tsing tap beer. It was very reasonable at 3.50. They have other beers for 2.50. Total bill was $ 30 — great value! They also have a lunch and dinner buffet that looks very good. We will be back.

Why are people so harsh on this place??? I really enjoyed it! I love Thai food and this place had delcious curry! The presentation was a lot nicer than most buffets I’ve been to. They had lots of options to choose from and many I have never seen before. which I enjoy. The basil tofu and the green curry were my favorites. They also had a decent sushi selection that I took advantage of :) I didn’t want to try any desserts but honestly I try to avoid desserts at buffets… The servers were friendly and the place looked pretty clean! I recommend this place if you love Thai food… or are willing to try some :)
