Good place to stop in and have a couple drinks. Bar tender is pleasant. Music is what I’m into 80’s and 90’s rock. Stopped in on a Friday afternoon. I’m pretty sure they have different themes throughout the week. For the most part a nice place to stop in and kill some time.

The service is great, the atmosphere is good but the food is nothing to really brag about. It’s the usual bar food. I ordered a BLT, thinking it would be a usual sandwich but it came out on a very hard roll. Not very edible.

The waitresses are total sweethearts. They are attentive and know when they should not serve people. The door man with the slicked backed hair is a total unsociable douchbag. I’ve done his job, been there, done that, and he’s just a pompous dick. He’s got a pony tail and he may be Hispanic.

Hubby and I wanted some live music so decided to give them a try. Opened the front door and got enveloped with cigarette smoke, turned around and left. Stop the indoor smoking!

I go all the time. Staff is great. Always a special going on. No matter what time of the week you come. Food Is Tasty! Restrooms are clean. They have done work on the place. so its a great bar to hang with friends for a good time. Music, pool, Buzz-time Trivia and poker(which I Love), Golden Tee, Darts, Karaōke, DJ night, No cover. cant beat the deals and the nice staff to go along with it. I say stop in and see for self instead of taking my word. I will be going here for many more years to come. :-) Don’t forget to put what you think of it on here after your visit.

I love this Bar! Music: They have a good selection of bands that play here often and some crazy events like the upcoming«Extreme Midget Wrestling» lol. There is a great music player that allows you to choose music from a very wide selection. It looks like a giant iPod haha. So the music can be hit or miss with you personally unless you are the one choosing music. It’s cheap to choose song too, like a buck. Atmosphere: The place has been remodeled and isn’t smokey/dark as it was in the past. Girls’ bathrooms are always clean, can’t speak for the guys’ bathroom as I don’t know. Pool & darts seem to be popular here too. Quality: The drinks have become much cheaper in the last few years. I love their drink specials because they are relevant. They don’t do any of that random ass drink special that no one will ever order stuff. Their well drinks are always affordable and shots are decently priced. I’ve always been able to have a lot of fun there with out breaking my bank. Things to note/rave/rant: I had part of my bachelorette party here and they let us decorate and reserve a few tables for my girls and I. People to note/rave/rant: If you go there ask for Rachel, she’s an awesome bartender! She also screens the bands and events.

I’ve never had a bad time here. I never ordered anything off the menu. It looks like a watering hole in my book. Men room is decent can’t speak for the ladies room. As a man only use number 1 at bars. Due to men pour aim. Rule of thumb.

It’s a local bar with friendly people and even friendlier servers. I really enjoy metal night when different bands play because there’s always a good turn out of people. You can play pool, order some good snack foods, and hang out with your friends all while a whole bar of alcohol is just an order away. I recommend it as a good hang out place for sure

Ugh, I only go here when my boys play a show here. Its dark, dank, gross and kinda dangerous. My friend was robbed in the parking lot about a year ago so theres that. The only redeeming quality about this place is the cheap drinks.

I don’t get what Danielle was looking for in this place but it definitely isn’t a «club» and it definitely isn’t a restaurant. It seems her review is based on expectations that this place never intended to offer. This is a bar. It’s a dive bar, folks. Raggy bar food, lousy cover bands and mediocre karaōke, this is what you should expect from a place like this. You know, a «dive», not that dives don’t have their own unique charm so long as you know what you’re getting into. Taking that into account — the place is pretty good for a late nightcap. Stick with well drinks folks, it can get expensive quick. Or just stick with my preference, beer. They have the typical bar video games(Wordster, that wheel of fortune game, etc), darts, pool and of course, Texas Hold’em on certain nights. That all said, the place is dirty, the bathrooms smell like they haven’t been cleaned since 1995 and… well it is just dirty. Even for a dive bar. It’ll do in a pinch but there are better bars in Katy. Just don’t expect to go here for food — you go here to have drinks.

I recently went to see a band at a new bar on the west side called Abbey Pub, and had great hopes for it based on their website, but that hope turned out to be misplaced. First, the positives. The interior is large and open, with several pool tables in the back. The a/c is cold, and they have a full menu. Oh, and there’s no cover, which is definitely a plus! Unfortunately, though, this is the best I can do since my experience went downhill as soon as I stepped over the threshold. I arrived after ten, and since it had been a long day with no dinner, I thought I’d get a table, watch the band, and get something to eat. Finding a table was harder than I thought — not because there was anyone there but because all the tables were sticky. The barmaid was quick to come over, though, when I got settled, and although she seemed put out at my request, produced a stained rag and wiped off the table. The Coke she brought me was excellent(I’m a Coke connoisseur, what can I say.) and ice cold. I ordered the chicken tenders entrée, a house salad with ranch dressing, and French fries. The salad arrived first, but I had to send the accompanying silverware back as it had something caked on it. The server was brought me out clean utensils, but I definitely got the feeling that I was pushing my luck. Although the salad was supposed to be a garden salad, the greens were wilted — not the fresh, crispy greens that I expected. I ordered ranch dressing, but I’m not sure what was on my salad. Ranch dressing doesn’t have chunks, and it didn’t smell or taste like blue cheese. I decided not to push my luck and just left it unfinished. When the chicken tenders arrived, I was starved! The french fries were cooked to perfection, with a golden, crispy skin and just the right amount of salt. The chicken tenders were another story, however, still pink and raw in the middle. I was starving however, so I cut out the middles and ate the rest of it. By now, between the very sub par food, and the boorish people seated at the next table whose life mission seemed to be heckling the band, I was thoroughly irritated. I decided to cut my losses. Even though I had parked right in front of the bar, I was surprised at how dark it was.(Ladies, take someone with you. There were several hoodlum types hanging out in the parking lot and I’ll admit to being a bit nervous. As I backed up, I heard a crunch under my tires. When I got out to inspect the cause, I discovered a broken beer bottle under my tire. Luckily, my tire wasn’t damaged and I arrived home safely, supremely aggravated but no worse for the wear. As much as I wanted to like this club, and give it a good recommendation, I just can’t. Fortunately for Houston, there are plenty of other clean and friendly clubs to visit. Note: In response to Jason H’s question, I believe that it’s under new management now — there’s two-and-a-half years between your review and mine, so that’s certainly a possibility. The website is most assuredly different. And in fact, it’s the website upon which I based my original perceptions, as I stated in the opening paragraph of my review. It was a very nice website with photos of the club that conveyed cleanliness, good food, and good entertainment.(think The Concert Pub — one of my favorite places to see live music.) Unfortunately, it didn’t live up to the advertising and just seems to have continued the decline based on your review. I spend a lot of time in bars(I shoot live bands professionally) and I completely agree with your assessment that there are better places to grab a beer.
