Yori Yori is one of the few restaurants located inside the 99 Ranch Supermarket. This was my first time trying this place out, and it won’t be the last. I came here with my family, so we all decided to get different dishes to try off of each other’s. I honestly do not recall any of the names, but I will try to describe them in case some of you decide to try it out. I ordered a seafood tofu soup. This soup came in a clay pot, BOILING. Nonetheless, the flavor was very good & I personally love for my soups to be super hot. It was filled with mainly shrimp & clams. I was expecting a bit more of seafood variety, but overall was a delicious soup. My family ordered the seafood pancake, which was to die for! It was a mixture of seafood & veggies all scrambled in an egg pancake, and served with a very delicious sauce. Another dish they ordered was a seafood noodle soup. This soup was perhaps the best dish alongside the seafood pancake. We chose the medium heat flavor, it was AMAZING. If you do not like spicy foods, medium heat will be way too spicy for you. We finished off with a mango shaved ice dessert which was okay. All in all, very good restaurant. I’ll definitely be swinging by again!

Love the bibim-bop here, probably my favorite Asian place in the area. Fried dumplings here are probably the best I’ve ever had! GF likes the tofu soup here as well.

Know know to the Best of the best! They have the best service and also have the best food If you are looking for the Korean style food or Taiwanese style shaved ice in Houston, they will always satisfy your desire :) I’m the student who studies close to here, and this is the restaurant I’ll choose whenever I need the energy!!! The first review I made and the best choice I chose!

WOW… Screw this place!!! I was on a 4+ hour road trip and decided that I would stop off to use the facilities and grab a quick bite to eat. I did my typical Unilocal search to see what was in the area and jumped off I-10 the next exit to check out this Korean place. I have been wanting to try a bulgogi as I’ve heard several friends speak highly of this marinated beef Korean dish. So I get into the small grocery store that houses Yori Yori and made my way to their little strip area. I was a little concerned that they only had three stars but once I arrived at their location those concerns only grew because they had one table of people while the LA Crawfish next door literally didn’t have a seat empty. If only I had been in the mood for crawfish I would’ve had it made. This is where my despise of this place comes into place. I walk up to the counter to order dinner and I ask the 18−20yo(?) Asian girl behind the counter if the bulgogi marinade was gluten free. I quickly realized that she spoke almost no English at all and so politely I asked if there was a manager I could discuss options with. She denied me in her broken English. No explanation, no attempt to be nice, just a smug ass look from a girl that didn’t even have business taking my order being that she doesn’t speak a lick of English. I’m not saying she shouldn’t have a job but instead that Yori Yori should have English speaking employees taking orders, one that also knows what customer service is. I will never give this place another chance and I wish them failure in their business endeavors for how they do business.

The bibimbap didn’t have a fried egg in it, like I’ve had at other places. Not enough meat in it either. My bf ended up getting the bbq so I took some meat from him. The miso soup didn’t have tofu in it either. This place is okay. Just missing a few vital things imo.

Yori Yori is one of the restaurants inside 99 Ranch located beside LA Crawfish. I’ve eaten at a few places in 99 Ranch, and this place is probably my favorite. They’re shaved ice is the best I’ve ever had, and their food, especially their steamed bun sandwiches. I knocked off 1 star, mostly because they require a $ 20 minimum in order to use a credit card, which actually detoured me from going here at other times I’ve been to 99 Ranch.

As noted, this place is inside 99 Ranch in the food court area. I love the location. You can take a little stroll after eating and find some delicious Asian snacks. I’ve only come here for dinner. It’s never super busy to where you can’t find a table. They play KPOP which can get drowned out by the noise of the supermarket and nearby food establishments. It’s counter service, so you order at the counter, find a seat and they’ll call out a number on your receipt to come pick up your food. You return your food tray as well. There’s a cart that you slide the tray into which can be tricky sometimes cuz the trays are a bit heavy with the wooden hot stone bowl contraption. But you could just drop it off on the counter as well. The girl there will help you. I usually get the hot stone rice bowl(dolsot bibimbap) or the soft tofu stew. I think both of those options are good deals. It’s $ 9 and you get your entrée with two banchan sides, and soup with the rice meal or rice with your soup meal. And although it looks like the slashed the price for a «daily special,» it’s $ 9 all the time. I’ve tried the kalbi short ribs, but I am not a huge fan. The meat does get chewy and you don’t get that much for the price tag. This place is good enough for me to come back but not enough for me to crave it.

Unless you were already grocery shopping inside ranch99 and just got hungry halfway and this was your last resort… I wouldn’t recommend driving here just for their kbbq… Which was what I had unfortunately let my friends trick me into doing. I should have been more wary when I learned we were going to a kbbq place inside an Asian grocery store and not an actual restaurant… I ordered the galbee short ribs and they didn’t taste bad or anything… But they were super salty!!! The more I ate, the saltier it got! I even finished my entire can of lemonade as well as 3 or 4 cups of their self serve water just so I could get halfway through my meal! ANDD it cost $ 18.99?! Whoa there… Thats pricy for the quality of what I got. Not to mention they don’t give you unlimited refills of the 7 or 8 different Korean side dishes that are usually brought out with your meal! In fact, you don’t get any refills, just that one time serving… AND plot twist, there weren’t actually 7 or 8 side dishes either! Only 3 side dishes: a small salad, potato chunks, and«kimchi». Man it wasn’t even the same kimchi that usually has me addicted to Korean food… Just a lightly flavored kimchi that lacked in flavor and was made out of cheap white cabbage. What in the world… Once again… I wouldn’t order here. Or maybe you could, but just don’t get the galbi, because extra salty meat, a lemonade, and 3 measly side dishes is not worth $ 22.something cents. Try one of their cheaper dishes, or go elsewhere.

This is such a good Korean restaurant i have ever eaten. I tried to eat a lot of Korean food before but I kind of don’t like it. However, my mind was changed when i ate at yoriyori. I like almost their dishes, specially the soft tofu stew(the soft tofu they make by their own), Korean BBQ, stir-fry pork and squid, spicy noodle soup, black bean noodle, cold noodle and the Korean pancake… All of them are so delicious and the price is so cheap if u compare with others. The minimum is around $ 8 – 10

I would say out of all restaurants there at the H-mart this place yori yori is the best place for authentic Korean dishes. As I have given a review to Toreore an it was poor quality. My judgment of this fine establishment it is quite good food an service by the young gentleman up front an are very tentative to what people order. As a food critic for the local magazine this has the most traffic for good Korean food, great customer service, great visibility of the menu unlike the other restaurant establishment. As I have tried the other places around there it is not the same food quality as Yori Yori. Great job keep up the great service an food.

I would rate this place a negative star if I could. The cashier, Kate Phan, is the reason I will not be returning. I could give her the«bad day» excuse every now & again but her upset face, bad attitude & horrible customer service is an EVERYTIME occurrence! The pricey food isn’t that great for such arrogance!

This is located inside of 99 Ranch Market. The food here is disgusting. I ordered the bulgogi bibimbap and it literally tasted like butter and rice. They also messed up one of my orders, instead of ramen they gave me an extra order of the bibimbap. I had to go up there and tell them. The ramen literally tasted like the instant ramen that you can buy from within the market. I definitely will never come here again.

Dont be fooled, just because this is located inside Ranch 99 market does not mean it is not good or that it is cheap. Lunch for 2 with an appetizer can set you back $ 30 but trust me, it is really good. I’m a fan of bibi bop bowls(not sure that is correct but for the flow of this review just go with it). I tried the kimchi and squid bowls and they were freaking delicious. The rice was the right texture and the fact that added an egg just made it so much better. I really like the kimchi here too, it is very flavorful and spicy at the same time. I definitely recommend this place it is as good as any place you can find in Bellaire!

Late post. We ordered a seafood udon, seafood rice hot stone bowl, and a Korean pancake. The food was oversalted in all three dishes. They are stingy on ingredients and the amount of rice or noodles they give. However, they do give two side dishes per order. It is usually potatoes, tofu, or kimchi. They also have complimentary miso soup, but don’t expect tofu or seaweed in your soup. It’s just the soup itself. Overall, 3⁄5 on their food. Service was okay. Mostly it’s ‘serve yourself’ on everything.

It’s right inside the 99 Ranch market, tucked away in an unassuming corner next to the crawfish place. There’s a pretty good selection of tofu hot pots and bulgogi or bim bim baps. Miso soup is self service, as are the spring onions. You can also top up your own hot sauce. Water is complimentary. The cashier(always the same girl) is polite, but not overwhelmingly friendly, don’t know why. I always have the seafood tofu soup medium spicy, and that comes out piping hot. The condiments that come with it are a hit or miss — sometimes fish cake tastes soggy, but the potato mix makes up for it. Bim bim bap is pretty decent, could do with more meat. One word of caution, they only take cash if your meal is under ten bucks, such a shame, it’s really a turn off to the service. Wait, hang on, there is no service! Order and pick up the tray yourself!

This is a pretty consistent place for soon tofu soup or jjambong. If Hubbs and I decide to go shopping here pre-dinner, Yori-Yori will most likely be hit up for our Korean fix. You have to spend a minimum of $ 20 if you wanna pay by credit card(not enough for 2 meals, so you’ll have to get a drink). And the food usually takes a while to come out. But we’ve always had a pretty good experience here. It’s not the best Korean food, but it does great for our cravings :)

I prefer the one at h mart but there is more seating here since they have their own seats compared to h mart where everyone uses the same seats Besides that, pretty much the same taste, and pricing. Thought I think this location offers lunch specials? I thought I saw a sign once but I’m not entirely sure.

I love going here to get my fix of korean food. My favorites are the bulgogi lunch special, and the black bean noodles! It’s great if you’re ordering for to-go. It’s located inside a supermarket, so you can shop and look around before coming back to pick it up. The only downside about this place is that you have to spend a minimum of $ 20(?) so that you can charge it on a credit card. If you’re ordering for just one person, sometimes it’s difficult without cash because you don’t really want to eat $ 20 worth of food.

This is where there is a endless selection of hotpots that I have ever gone to. Never had the same one twice because they always add new ones. I go here just before I shop at Hmart and then if the hotpot is good, I try to buy the ingredients and recreate it at home.
