I wish I can leave a no star review. My husband and I once again gave IHOP another chance because we saw a sign Under New Management what a horrible awful horrendous experience $ 45 later for my husband and my two little girls and we walk out dissatisfied my daughter and my husband still hungry because they couldn’t even eat their food stay far away do not come here… go anywhere else… even sonic! Awful awful awful.

I went there 5÷30÷2016. There was a new sign out front«new ownership». How bad could it be? I went to the BRICK ihop the same week and had two totally different experiences. Bricktown= great experience. Howell= terrible. Pancakes, what their famous for, were so small, I thought I ordered silver dollar pancakes. Had the same food in brick and they were as big as the plate. Service sucked in Howell. Service was exemplary in brick. I guarantee that I will never EVER go to Howell ihop again.

My boyfriend and I went for breakfast at this IHOP on a Sunday morning. We arrived to find it surprisingly empty. There were more waitresses and waiters standing around than there were customers sitting in booths. We soon found out why. We opened the sticky menus and tried to find a spot to sit in our booth that didn’t have a stain. It took longer than expected for the waitress to bring our coffee and orange juice. When we finally got our food, it only made the experience worse. The eggs were ordered over-easy, but the whites were still super runny. Everything tasted like salt. Salt eggs. Salt bacon. Salt hash browns. My French Toast with strawberries and my boyfriend’s plain pancakes were both cold. We told our waitress about the cold food and she called over management. Neck Tattoo Management came over and argued the French toast should be cold because it has strawberries. No matter what I said, he stubbornly stuck to his point without apology. Our bill came to 20 dollars. 20 dollars for a cold, runny, salty breakfast. We left sick to our stomach.

Have been here twice. Both times we waited forever for our food. When it arrives it was only lukewarm. We were also served separately, first my meal then my husbands!!!

It’s a hit or miss here. Maybe your eggs and meats will be cold, maybe they’ll be steaming hot like they’re supposed to be. The staff is friendly here for the most part, but service can be slow no matter what time of day or how many customers are present. My heart is still with Perkins, but I only come here because it’s a mile from my house.

Pancakes are decent but really went downhill from the last time i ate at this ihop. The specialty coffees are over priced and plain disgusting. Service is extremely slow which was sad because i was one of maybe 10 customers. Stay away until new management steps in.

Ok so I am a fan of IHOP and know better than to go on the weekend but we decided to try anyway. Pleasantly surprised there was no wait. So we sat down and checked out the menu. I got the crepes with bacon and eggs and he got the breakfast sampler. The food was good but the service seemed very unorganized too many servers in a small area. People getting food before others who were waiting longer, waiting for refills, then towards the end of our meal the waitress started coming over every two minutes asking if we were ok. I appreciate attention from a server but it seemed like we were being hurried.

We were seated within 5 minutes of arriving which I thought was great news given that it was a Sunday, that was the highlight of our visit. The waitress kept forgetting our drinks and we waited for almost 40 minutes for our omelettes. When we mentioned how long we were waiting our food miraculously appeared and then they kept asking if we needed anything every 2 minutes. We will probably not go back here which sucks because I love IHOP.

Forty minutes it took for the food to come out, waiter forgot the order two times, and the staff was unorganized and disheveled. The staff is nice and the a manger did comp my bill. I would go back, but hopefully will get a different waiter.

Very happy with the breakfast we had. We went at 10:00 am in a Sunday and were seated right away. Waitress and hostess were friendly. Drink orders were taken promptly and served immediately. Orders were taken with no issues and every dish came out together, hot and accurate. We would order any of the food we had again. Waitress and manager came to check on us more than once. No complaints at all. We had tried this place twice when they opened a year ago and we were not impressed. They have improved dramatically. We’ll be back.

Came in for the 57cent short stack anniversary special but had to seat myself because no one was in front at about 7:05AM. Not the first time service was poor. Sat near the kitchen so a waitress would see me and take care of me. It worked! Are they short staffed here? No plans to return.

Absolutely horrable service was terrable they had a cook in a dirty apron trying to find us a table when were finally seated they didnt give us a kids menu. Finally order drinks and the waiter was annoyed I asked for straws the menus were dirty and covered in food the soda I ordered was flat and the glass was dirty will NEVER come back here.

If I could give this place no stars, I would. I was seated at a table for 15 minutes and the server never came! Not even for drinks! I watched as two servers stood around and watched the TV. I got up and left. They were oblivious.

3rd time there… 3 strikes-you’re out! Our lazy teenage boy server was too busy texting to check to see if we ever needed anything. Eggs were good! Pancakes were ok. Bacon was burned to a crisp. The rye toast was seeded… yuck. I asked to exchange for white toast.. Which 20 minutes later came out cold… with no butter. Took another 20 to get the butter which by then the eggs were too cold to eat. We ordered chocolate pancakes… received choc chip pancakes… hash browns were so burnt & dry you couldn’t chew them. Last time I was there I ordered a crêpe with fruit and it was great. I won’t every go back. I suggest if you go there, dont get anything other than eggs and/or pancakes.

Honestly. IHOP is just a name. I mean… If you want cool pancakes go there. But I like traditional diner food. Eggs, PORKROLL(which they dont have), shredded fried potaHtos and white toast. Or like a delicious turkey sammich. So they have diner food but it’s over priced for their name and I’d rather go to another diner. The crepes I had were meh. Too sweet for me. My sister-in-law got a sammich and there was a hair in it. They were really cool about it. Gave her a fresh new plate. And we new it was fresh because the Potahtos burned her mouth. And she ate free. The manager was sincerely sorry. So I give the manager 5 stars for that. The wait after your order was really long. Especially on a day that was not busy at all. It’s worth going there if you like cool pancakes or waffles I guess.

First of all, it’s IHOP, not Château Le Eggs so dont roll in here all upper crusty and high browed expecting 5 star cuisine. I’ve read some reviews where people are spouting off about REAL ingredients and sticky pancakes. Really? If it’s that bad be nice and send them back. Don’t be a pain in the ass to the wait staff because they didn’t cook it. And the place did only open 2 months ago so the staff is still being weeded out between the fed up, divorcee waitresses and high school summer job carelessers. Perhaps it was still a little new when these unfair reviews were written. Now that’s school is back in session the wait staff seemed pleasant and receptive. Our waiter, Travis had a great personality and even though he may have forgotten real milk for the coffee or ketchup he still gave it his all and that means a lot to me. Secondly, we knew what IHOP was about when we went there so 15 different servers running in all directions, hurling over tantrum throwing brats and dodging strollers and high chairs is almost like running a «Mudder race» so give them credit where it’s due. As far as the food, you get what you pay for here and should know and accept that. Pancakes are not always steaming and piled high like the picture on the cover of the Aunt Jemima box but they are good. Your bacon and eggs platter is not going to be bedazzled with parsley flakes and perfectly cut potatoes and bacon strips that are crisp and perfectly straight either. But again, they are good. It’s a great location for the locals to drag the kids when you don’t feel like trashing your kitchen on your only day off. And as a family guy, it’s kind of nice to see that there are people with children way more miserable then we sometimes think ours are. IHOP is what it is and you get what you get. So sit in your sticky seat, give the kids some crayons and eat. When your all done, pay the reality check and go.

Night staff was really great. Don’t know what time the other people went, but we had a very nice waitress and the manager was around the whole time. Food was good also. Beautiful new inside feel.

Growing up with Ihop– yay I have eaten here a few times and ya know its just hit and miss– I ordered the smokehouse breakfast, my hash browns were burnt top and bottom my scramble eggs were mmm hard?! my two smokey links tasted like a hot dog, so hubby took a bite and said it tasted like spicy bologna– in fact it was left on my plate minus the two small bites missing and the waitress didn’t even ask why it was left. hmmm Hubby got his breakfast for the life of me I cant remember what it was … the coffee bot was half full and not even hot and my blueberry pancakes were mushy I ate them cuz I was hungry and it was 11:30 am Prices are high and its very noisy. So suffice to say this time not such a big winner. will I be back probably because the crepes are good. have the crepes.

My kids ate here. It took 45 minutes for the food to arrive. When they asked why it took so long? They answered because of the chocolate chips in the pancakes. Sad
