Palais Royal Dept Store

Palais Royal has a fancy name, but honestly, I don’t how they have managed to stay open. The brands that they carry were probably hot in the 90’s but a thing of the past in our present day of Jessica Simpson and Coach. Guess? Who still wears Guess? I Guess anyone who shops here!
Don’t get me wrong – I have found a few items deeply discounted to add to my wardrobe, but the clothes are cheaply made and most of the styles are a bite dated. I usually go to the Juniors section to find something along my taste.
There is a cosmetic and perfume counter, but I don’t know – I just can’t get with someone helping me pick out cosmetics with J’s on. Just doesn’t fit.
If you’re shopping for a one time outfit that has more sophistication versus chic and sexy style, this is the store. Very conservative looks overall. Why do I know that? Because my Mom shops at Palais Royal all the time! She loves the Tuesday Senior discount, which I believe gives those 55 and older an extra 20% off their purchase. She likes it, I love it! and if you find something you like here, I won’t hate – I’ll congratulate because that’s a rarity in my book!
