Went here because it’s closer than Yogurtland, and Cherry on top. Minimal selection, and I tried the pistachio and strawberry banana. Thankfully I tasted it before adding toppings and paying, the pistachio was actually Carmel with green coloring. It was awful. We tossed our yogurt, and went to Cherry on top instead.

We always love coming here on late nights. They have really good frozen yogurt. The place is always clean and the girl is always very nice. Parking is never a problem. Only reason why I didn’t give it 5 stars is because when the girl mops or cleans the cleaner is some times so strong the smell makes me not want to eat anything at all.

— Locale Destination — It’s on Bolsa chica st and Heil Ave in Huntington Beach, in the little shopping plaza right by «Albertson’s». Inside is like everyone else… white and cute pop up colors on chairs and decors. It doesn’t say how much by ounce. — Gluttony Expedition — Original: It’s a bit sour but not bad. Vanilla: It’s more like a custard cream taste… Meh. Passion fruit: Not bad — Conqueror’s Deduction — They don’t have much varieties unlike other competitors. Weak.

Pretty standard self-service yogurt spot. It was completely empty when I stopped in, which worried me a little, but I guess it is just not a high traffic area. I tried the yellow cake batter, which was really good, but a little too sweet, so I ended up with the plain tart. Toppings were a different story. They are anything but fresh. The fruit was okay, although I think the strawberries had been frozen, but stay away from the candy and mochi! Really stale. The kitkat was like cardboard and the mochi was really hard and chewy. No good. Plus it is more expensive that other places just like it. Stick with Yogurtland or Cherry on Top.

Come support this great little joint. Family owned, super clean and comfortable. 10 flavors of nonfat frozen yougurt and loads of toppings. Not too loud like its competitor Cherry on Top.

A nice surprise to find hidden in the Albertson’s Grocery Mall. I had two flavors, pumpkin and mango. The mango was the clear winner in my taste test. Fortunately, this is or can be on my bicycle route.

This place is a basic fro-yo, add your own toppings and get it weighed. They do not very they’re flavors much. I like the cake batter one myself, but the plain vanilla is just eh. The customer service is pretty suck. The gal was on the phone the whole time she was ringing us up, and it was not a business call. I’ll probably go again cause it’s close to home, but there are much better out there,

This place looks like it’s trying to make an attempt at what Cherry On The Top IS, but it misses the mark. They have it set up very kitch-ily in the front, but towards the back it’s very modern and classic. Strange. Ambiance aside, the yogurt is average and there are plenty of toppings which are fresh. The reason I am giving it only two stars and not three is two-fold: my son and I walked in and it was hotter inside of the establishment than outside on a 76 degree evening. The girl at the counter was very nice and polite; but we were sitting at a table enjoying our yogurt and company when she proceeded to turn the TV volume up to the max on the recent Jeopardy episode. While I like a good episode of Jeopardy, I like my company with my son better– especially when I am paying for it.

Went here on the 4th of July. It was a new shop that popped up on my Unilocal Feed, and was conveniently open on the Holiday… yes my idea of celebrating our independence is summed up in a bowl of Fro-yo… I believe Self-Serve Yogurt is the pinnacle of individualism and personal freedom… Unfortunately this place was not really note-worthy. Yes it was clean, friendly, close to home… and the flavors were actually pretty good. I would even say that the cake-batter flavor is better here than at Cherry-on-top. But I felt like it was a bit expensive… Considering its a new shop, I would think it would try to draw people in by doing something different or hooking people with better pricing. I’m pretty sure I won’t be back because there are a few other shops closer to me with slightly better selection and price… and with frequent customer cards.

This place is just like any other of the self-serve yogurt places out there. They have 10 flavors and plenty of toppings to choose from. Its nothing special just A-OK hence the 3 stars. I just hope this place gets more business and stays open so that I will always have a local place to grab yogurt by the ounce!
