Chris and Monica have managed my home in downtown Hunting Beach for 6 years and have done an amazing job. This was not original a rental but the home we raised our family in and is heavily upgraded. They ensured our home has always had quality tenants and manage all the repairs and maintenance in a very profession manner. As a real estate developer I have worked with may Property Mangers and Monica and Chris are BY FAR the most professional I have ever worked with.

Chris and Monica of Hallmark Property Management stand head and shoulders above the rest when it comes to property management in Huntington Beach. They are professional, courteous, prompt to respond and above all ethical in their business dealings, qualities that are sometimes hard to find in the rental market.

Hallmark has been an absolute pleasure to work with. Monica and Chris always give me a good heads-​up before a job which is very helpful to me as a locksmith/​business owner. I have referred several of my clients (homeowners that want to lease out their home) to Hallmark because the properties that I have serviced for Hallmark are well-​maintained and managed. This company took over property management of the place we were renting the month before we moved out. When we moved out, they claimed our dogs damaged the carpet in the place and that it needed to be replaced entirely (our dogs only went on the tile, and there was a baby gate to prevent them from going on the carpet). They ended up keeping our entire security deposit, and then tried to charge us an extra $ 400 dollars. What is a security and pet deposit for then? They even had «curtain missing» as part of the damages. There where no curtains in the house, we put them up!!! These people are wrong and crooked property managers. We were amazing tenants, paid our bills on time, and left that place in better cleaner shape then when we rented it. Do not rent from these people, unless you want to throw away money. Then this guy called my wife a racist via email, and insulted my military service upon other condescending emails. All because of a previous bad Unilocal review, because he had not furnished the receipts of the work being completed at the property with our security deposit. That’s all we wanted, was proof. Way past the legal time line to furnish proof. And has since been harassing us. I have never met anyone so condescending in my life. This post is staying up for your Chris, because of your actions. This is not defamatory, they are facts, I have the emails of him calling my wife a racist. Disgusted. If there were negative stars you would get the highest amount of negative stars. Never renting from this company ever again, and will caution anyone else. And this post is staying up, after the headache I we went through, nobody should have to go through this. HIGHLY UNPROFESSIONAL, UNCALLED FOR. I have every right to voice my opinion on this site, stop harassing us via email unless it has to do with the property.
