We thought we might try this place out but we could see they were not using gloves… So we left.

It is kind of run down, but obviously it has been there a long time. That’s OK. The food and service are about the same as any other Wienerschnitzle on the area. Smart people know that a new building doesn’t mean better food. The bottom line. They never screwed up my order. They have never been rude. And the food has never been unacceptable. You won’t have any surprises here as long as you accept it is Wienerschnitzle and not Jacques Handmade Premium All Natural Grass Fed Daily Massaged Beef Hot Dogs.

This review is not for the food it’s for the employees. I went the other morning at 9:30 and pulled up and the guy working there tells me they are closed and asked why it said they opened at 9:00. No response! They do open at 9:00 unless this guy is working!

Solid hot dog spot. I’ve been rating here since I was old enough to ride my bike over(12?). You can never go wrong with a chili dog(or two).

World’s most wanted wiener… Der fun with dogs since 1961! Chili cheese fries & bacon ranch(4⁄5): Delicious Frozen desert(5⁄5): small dipped cone(Pink) Kid’s favorite. Old fashioned sundae topped with cherry is awesome! Corn dog: Kids love the corn dogs, easy to hold/eat and less messier!.My favorite dog is Chicago Dog as it comes with tomato, onion, pickle, peppers! Burgers: I wasn’t aware they carry burgers too, but they are not great, same reason you should eat burger from an authentic burger place. Jalapeño poppers(5⁄5): Awesome. Fries: Regular fries are just ok. Tuesday: They used to have $ 1 Polish sandwich(with coupon) on Tuesday and this was an awesome deal for some quick fast food! Now its B1G1 which is also good deal. Drinks:The Mango fizzers is delicious. Join Der Club: Join their email club and receive free stuff on b’days, promotions and other offers! Overall its a good place to crash for some quick food for the hungry kids and family!

I know it’s fast food but I love this place! Haven’t gone here in awhile so wanted to see what their new stuff was… totally wasn’t disappointed. Got their mini corndogs, their chili dogs, and tried their bleu cheese and bacon hot dog… man sooooo good!!! Don’t think I could have eaten any more. If I had four stomachs then maybe ha… Anyhoo totally hit the spot so if you’re craving something cheap and derlicious! Try this joint.

I lover wienerschnitzel, and i used to go to this one, but after more than a dozen crappy visits, i stopped going to this location, been about a year now, go to the one on brookhurst, between garfield and yorktown, they do it right, and are great people. A few examples of this locations issues. Burned/overcooked/undercooked dogs a chili cheese fry taco instead of a burrito on more than 4 orders in a row it was like this the people always seem rushed an cant be bothered with any request for condiments once they have given you the bag. Bottom line, maybe they changed their tune, but beware go to the other one.

I haven’t had Tasty Freeze /Wienerschnitzel for awhile. I wasn’t missing anything but greasy /processed food. *The drive-thru exit is kinda wonky. Watch out for incoming traffic… *No– You can not cut through the parking lot to the plaza. *Not much seating +1 stars food +1 stars atmosphere +5 stars customer service

I ordered the Pastrami Sandwich for $ 3.99. The Pastrami was tender and juicy. The Cheese and Bread were excellent. A delicious Pastrami Sandwich from this Drive Thru.

They have to ways to enter their drive-thru so it can get confusing when you’re trying to fight the other car that’s coming in the other way!

I’ve always loved Weinerschnitzel. You can’t beat corndogs and chili cheese dogs in the middle of the night. It’s good, it’s cheap and probably not all that good for you but you don’t really go to a place like this if you’re counting calories. They also have a killer Chicago dog — try it!

My mom insisted that we stop here on a recent trip out to visit the family, because when she was a kid she used to go by this place all the time. It’s been around forever so I figured they must be doing something right and I humored her. All I had was some mini corn dogs, but they were pretty good. I was a little annoyed that I couldn’t use the bathroom here but other then that everything went as planned. It’s nice that you can watch your food being prepared.

I moved to SoCal 5 years ago. The first and last time I had Weenyschnitzel was 4.5 years ago. The«all beef» hot dog I had contained bits of some hard white substance… I can only assume it was bone fragments or something. And the dog itself was greasy. I will never, ever go to a Wienerschnitzel again. Go to Pavilions, buy a package of Dodger Dogs, and make them on the grill. 1,000% better than Wienerschnitzel. Letter grade: F– -

Late nights. come here and your tummy will get the pleasure it deserves! The new caramel apple pie sundae is to die for! It reminds me of those yummy foods you get at the fair. It’s pretty pricey for a sundae at a fast food joint, but way worth it. 4 bucks of delightful goodness! HOLLA!

8:05pm on a Wednesday night, and I had thought of Unilocaling the new Tommy’s Pastrami that opened up. Thinking of that sandwich and chili fries with bacon had my heart aflutter. Alas, ‘twas not meant to be as they shut down at 8:00pm. That didn’t help the fact that my voracious appetite was roaring and lo and behold, across the street was an old stand by… The red and yellow Wienerdude Shack. Right on… Feeling rather oinky, I got 3 corn dogs, and 4 chili dogs with mustard and onions. I started getting the mustard added way back in my high schoolie days and now it’s the only way I can get them. Fast forward half an hour and you’ll find me on the couch ala Al Bundy watching TV and thinking I overdid it… =P

I love this place… OH so soft buns with some hearty tasty chili on your burger, hotdogs, and fries. I picked the #5 combo… Chili cheese hotdog and burger. YUM. Very satisfying taste and meal I have to say. They use the most softest bread… I love it! I literally take a very slow bite to just savor the moment of this fluffy soft bread. Don’t forget your Tastee Freez after all this munchin’ it’s the icing on the cake sort of speak. I love their ice cream in the cone.
