Fabulous Experience at IMC in Huntington! Three of us tried the Prixe-Fix Menu, 3 courses plus a glass of wine for $ 24.95, Tues-Thurs & Sun. The wedge salad with bacon, tomatoes and blue cheese dressing was delicious as was the duck confit salad w Brussels sprouts, cranberries and an explosion of herbs! We all ordered a different main course: 8 oz, yes 8 oz of buttery filet mignon and smashed potatoes, braised short ribs with vegetable risotto and lobster linguine were all superb and impressive! Desserts included cinnamon donuts with crème anglaise, s’mores with cocoa and goat cheese cheesecake and orange sherbet. We’ll be back!

Amazing bartender and chef. The meat here is incomparable to anything in the area. This place is a testament to quality ingredients and a love for the industry. The menu has been updated to appeal to an even wider audience and is way more affordable. The prix fixe menu has something for everyone. In short coming here was an excellent experience and left even more to try next time.

Been here 3 times in 3 weeks and determined to eat everything on the menu. Great ambiance and get staff. The braised short rib appetizer is more addictive then crack and the main course short rib is even better. The IMC doughnuts are fantastic. The steak is ridiculously good, They have a $ 253 course pre fix tues-thursd which is by far the best value in huntington. Easily one of my favorite if not favorite places in huntington now

I had the greatest steak of my life here. That’s no exaggeration! I’ve been to several high end steak houses, but none can compare to the Wagyu beef these guys serve. But it doesn’t stop there. Literally everything I had here is amazing. The bread(3 varieties) they serve at the start tastes fresh baked and comes with a platter of creamy, spreadable butter(bonus points because it doesn’t feel like it was just pulled from the freezer), large grain salt, and oil and vinegar with herbs. It’s amazing. Remember that steak I mentioned? Wagyu hanger steak cooked medium well. Unquestionably the best steak I’ve ever had in my life. Simply without comparison! It was cooked to perfection and wasn’t slathered in any sauces or overly spiced. Just a touch of salt and pepper and maybe love and happiness. It. Was. Amazing! On to dessert! We were here for my mom’s birthday and they gave us an order of their donuts with a big sparkler in it. The donuts were sugar coated and filled with dulce de leche and came with a custard-like dipping sauce. Once again, amazing. I also got an order of their s’mores. These were no ordinary s’mores, however! It was a graham cracker, upon which a layer 2 inches thick of chocolate ganache was placed, topped with marshmallows that were seared up top. Oh, and there was a scoop of vanilla gelato with it. I would have taken a picture, but I was too busy shoving my face into it. And guess what? It was AMAZING! We had a conversation with someone who I believe might be a manager or someone of that nature named Sean. He was very welcoming and along with our waiter Andrew, made us feel right at home, as if we’d been coming here for years! Excellent food, outstanding service, and a wonderful atmosphere, along with prices that are definitely fair for what you get means that I’ll be coming here as often as I can. In fact, I’m writing this review while waiting for my entrée during my second visit!

We had dinner here the Saturday night before Mother’s Day and what an awesome Mother’s Day gift. The steak was amazing! The cut, the size, the aged flavor… The roasted Brussels sprouts and mushrooms, ugh! Heavenly, honestly, can’t wait to go back

My parents, brother and I went here for dinner a few days ago. It was absolutely delicious!!! From our lamp chops to the duck and the Lobster Mac N’Cheese, everything was amazing. My personal favorite was the mini donuts(sooo good)… What we loved even more was the fact that Shawn, the manager, was sweet enough to ask us how our meals were and talked to us for a few minutes. He helped us feel comfortable and eager to return with our friends and family. We cannot wait to go back to not only eat but enjoy the great atmosphere.

Unlimited mimosa brunch is hard for find in Huntington so when we saw IMC offered it, we made a 12:30 reservation this past weekend. We were very excited to see live music playing when we arrived. Band was great! We were very surprised to see only 1 other table when we got there; but none the less, we brunched! Food was good. Some creative offerings — duck bacon, veal skirt steak and eggs, duck potato pancakes. All was good. But what made this brunch better than average? Our waiter. Spencer. He was attentive, but not too attentive. Followed up at the right time with some great suggestions. And NEVER allowed for our bottomless mimosas to get to the bottom! Thanks Spencer!

NEVER come here for brunch — absolutely terrible. Terrible service — we were 1 of 2 tables in the entire place and it took 45 mins for them to take our orders. We began joking about ordering pizza after a while because it took so long to come out. Food was very underwhelming — the crab cake Benedict tasted fishy and the eggs were undercooked(this was the common consensus among all 5 people who ordered them) This place seems to get good reviews for dinner so maybe they just didn’t have their act together for Saturday brunch…

Came here over the weekend for drinks and food with some couples. I was very impressed with the place. The décor and lighting of the place was outstanding. The duck platter has foie gras torchon, duck rillettes, duck prosciutto and pan seared foie gras. This whole platter was amazing especially the duck rillettes. Ordered 4 of the roasted bone marrow that come on a butcher block with little squares of toasted bread. Looked amazing but I didn’t try it lol. The grilled octopus comes with pickled onions and fried capers which gave the dish tremendous flavor. I would definitely recommend getting that. The rock shrimp is definitely different from any other ones I’ve gotten before since they put the sauce on the side instead of all over the fried shrimp which was very good. The bone-in ribeye was really on point. It was tender and cooked perfectly to my liking. The presentation of the food is top notch.

For a spot in Huntington it’s dope. The décor is so elegant I feel like I’m eating in a classy 5 star restaurant in the city. With the lit up floors, fire places on the wall and the chandeliers it’s a change of pace in Huntington. Not only was the décor amazing the food was on point. I highly recommend the oxtail sliders, truffle fries, burrata, filet mignon and for dessert the home made caramel donuts. The owner walks by and makes sure that all is going well and that everything is up to the highest standard. They even had a dj here tonight which was a nice change because a younger crowd came out to mingle. I definitely recommend this spot, it’s a must try!

Surprised that so many Unilocalers weren’t as receptive to the excellent service, immediate seating, speedy offering of drinks, appetizers and the openness of the staff to accept our dietary concerns –allergies without a huff. I must admit the only reason I came here was because of the conveyance of «hormone and antibiotic free meats». We ordered drinks from the bar which were a bit strong for us novice people. The shrimp cocktail was sold by piece and we obtained(2). Then ordered a salad wedge with dressing on the side. Did you read that put the dressing on the side. I read someone say the salad was soggy … YES if you dump the entire portion of dressing on it of course it will drown your greens. We ordered the special ribeye with a «long bone» for both mine came out overcooked and I alerted the waiter and he remedied right away, Unfortunately for me there weren’t any more long bone rib eye so I got the regular rib eye which was cooked to temperature with a side of béarnaise sauce. Water glasses were filled immediately, breads were placed on ur «gluten free» table and quickly caught by the waiter as he apologized — by then our mouths were watering from the raisin bread in the basket and the fact that we can’t have gluten. But I will let it slide this time. UnilocalERS– they mentioned with a check in I had 10% now if I had been paying attention to the check in offers and not obsessed about posting my food pics I would have realized. This saved us a few bucks and increased the waiters gratuities. I do wish they would increase the music level because they had awesome music playing but I could hear it too much… yes, I wanted to be able to talk to my bestie but I enjoy music after a long hard work week. It subconsciously relaxes me with that cocktail! I would give a chance here and bring dietary concerns to the waiter and asst waiters attention immediately and you will have an enjoyable dinner, drink or appetizer experience. If you are a negative Nancy stay away. The manager came to the table for the overcooked steak and the end of our service and I was pleased to say he was professional, remedied all that wasn’t to my liking which was not a lot and welcome us to visit again. PS I forgot the most important part! They give you as ample of some special meat on this little spoon like ladle for tasting before ordering it and that was what sold us on the meat. We also had dessert that was gluten free as well and delectable to the palate. Parking well that’s a whole other issue downtown here-thanks town of huntington.

IMC(Imperial Meat Co.) from what I gather is a new kid on the block, and they have quite the location smack on Main Street between NY Ave and Wall St. The space is trendy, not overly large, but cozy. The service is decent, not what most would prefer(given the check), but they’re relatively new, so it was more or less what I expected. The food was very good, not exceptional, but better than another local steak house near by. From the menu, here is what I tried and would recommend: Oyster of the Day — I forget what 2 types were available, but they were fresh and sweet. Rock Shrimp — crispy fried and delicious Braised Lamb Shank — very good, very tender Overall, worth a visit in my book, and one I would certainly try again without much hesitation.

I was very impressed with IMC as we first walked in. The décor was stylish and elegant with a European feel; like something you would see on the Upper West Side or in Soho. They also had a live two-piece jazz band which fit perfectly with the trendy yet casual atmosphere. Even though we had a large party and it was a busy Friday night, we were seated at the exact time of our reservation. The service was perfect for the entire evening. The waiters weren’t the friendliest people in the world, but they were extremely professional and attentive. We received drinks right away and never had to wait an excessive amount of time for any of the courses. Everyone at the table was very happy with the three-course dinner. The steaks and lamb chops arrived to the table at the same time, made to order and at the correct temperature – which is rare when you go out with large groups. My meal was one of the best dining experiences I’ve had in quite a while. I started with the truffle burrata salad made with red and yellow beets, citrus, grilled ciabatta with pumpkin seed pesto and beet greens. This salad was ridiculously delicious and beautifully plated. It looked like a work of art. In fact, I’ve been thinking about it all day. The main course was tagliatelle pasta served with braised short rib, carrots and pearl onions. The short rib was incredibly tender and braised in a rich red wine sauce. Again, this is one of the best things I have ever eaten. The desserts all looked good, but fortunately, my selection was the best: bread pudding with peanut butter and homemade pumpkin ice cream on top. We will definitely be back.

I came here last week for restaurant week, on Friday night. We did the price fixe menu, which was a great deal. We made a reservation, but the restaurant wasn’t crowded. The service was fair. The waiter was nice, but not very knowledgable about the menu. We kept getting different people attending our table, which was ok, but we didn’t know to who to ask for what. He also didn’t know much about the wine selection, and with such a wide range, they waiter should really know about them for the customers. We waited a little bit longer than expected for our food, and to receive our check. We weren’t in a rush so it was ok, but could have been better I started with the kale/persimmon salad. It was ok, and could have used more dressing. I wasn’t impressed with it. My boyfriend got the wedge salad, which was excellent. I got the strip steak, which I thought was very good. However, it was pre cut, which was odd because that usually lets out some of the juices and the flavor, but it was good. All of the accompaniments were good too. The fries were good too, but not my first choice. For dessert, we had the donuts and the smores. I didn’t like either. The donuts weren’t fresh and the smores were cold and a weird consistency. Overall, it was good, but I probably wouldn’t come back and pay those prices.

Is it a bar? A restaurant? A Manhattan cozy hip spot? Yes yes wannabe. Jumped on restaurant week in Huntington deal. $ 27.95 app, entrée, dessert. Not sure how they got the name, maybe too trendy for their own good, but it’s a rectangle of a place that’s half bar half restaurant. Place was bout half full, no res, no problem seated immediately. Cassie was our waitress and did a completely adequate job, no unnecessary chit chat, ok timing. Ordered filet, iceberg wedge and smores dessert. Chef did ok with my filet but did t know my socks of, pickled tomatoes stunk, iceberg wedge ehh, s’mores dessert good. Mashed Potatoes were solid good Food average out to a 2.0GPA Ambience 3.2GP So…barely got the 3 star, barely. They set the place up to be all that with the two piece jazz band and but ended up with too hip a wannabe for the food, you don’t want to disappoint a foodie like me.

SMH! Am I the only one who thinks that the food here is just eh? Seriously I was all ready to be wowed but I was left wondering if some people have lost their mind. Granted, this is an absolutely beautiful place, all sparkles and glitter, also the waitress was a good one but… I had the pumpkin soup which was pretty good(not great) and my raspberry drink was good as well. But(sigh) the filet mignon had absolutely no seasoning on it whatsoever. Just a little salt and pepper would have made a big difference. The mashed potatoes were good. I just feel like a place that has the word meat in its name should have an incredible filet. The only saving grace was that mini doughnuts were yum.

On a recent trip downtown, we decided on a brunch spot and using our trusty Unilocal app, decided we would try IMC. Very glad we stopped in as the day was definitely better because we did. Included in the brunch was a terrific view of the bustling passers-by and the warm late summer sun. We arrived early and were able to grab an open-air window spot. A definite plus if you like to people watch. Food came out straight away and was very tasty. A side order of duck bacon hit the spot and a spicy Bloody Mary made for a relaxing and enjoyable meal. Food presentation was nice and I opted for the veal and eggs. Cooked medium rare as ordered and delicious. MR(mad Russian) had a salad that she enjoyed as well and topped it off with a Mimosa. Overall a great dining experience and we would recommend highly.

This is a great restaurant on one of the busiest corners in the Village of Huntington. IMC(Imperial Meat Company) has a very modern trendy vibe as you walk in the door and would be a great location to take someone on a late night date. One thing I had never seen before which was awesome is that they have glass tile in on parts of the floor and underneath the tile are bottles of wine. This restaurant has it all from ambiance to food. I went here for brunch for my grandfathers 65th wedding anniversary with a group of about 15 people and the staff was very attentive and courteous to all of our needs. The menu is heavily favored towards duck for brunch which i thought was very unique. I ordered the crab cakes with two poached eggs and duck potato pancakes. It all was extremely delicious the crab cakes were not to heavy on the breading which was great and the duck potato pancakes were very unique and tasty. When you go to a place like this you have to get one of the unique items. This is a restaurant I will be back to and highly suggest it to other people who are looking for a great dinner or to host a big group brunch. *Also $ 20 for unlimited mimosas

This review is strictly about my experience at happy hour. my friend and I stumbled into this place, half knowing we would probably walk right back out having looked at the prices. BUT, to our surprise, they offer a great happy hour, 5−8pm. The sign said mixed drinks, $ 5 and on the side said, ‘infused vodkas’. We mistakenly assumed that was part of the deal, however, the drinks were $ 8 each. We notified Tom, the bartender, that the waitress failed to specify that they were not included as we asked about the happy hour specials right before we ordered. He wanted to accommodate us but we said that it was fine given their outstanding service and the great time we had there. A lot of people mentioned in their reviews that the décor is ‘gaudy’, I think it’s beautiful and modern, yet still cozy. I’m a sucker for sparkly chandeliers, and I like the blue LED lights along the walls. They give you a peak into their wine cellar basement with glass displays in the floors. It’s pretty snazzy. Also the restaurant is spacious and the chairs are super comfy. Tom, our pleasant bartender was so sweet and as he liked to call it, «subtly» entertaining. We were shocked when he started bringing out complimentary bar food, chicken lollipops, homemade corn chips, and a taste of their steak. The infused vodka’s were absolutely delicious, I stuck with the peach vodka infused with cantaloupe and honeydew, with club soda. Perfection. Also, Tom made sure our waters were always full and even let us sample some tequila’s and cognac after getting the OK from the manager. If I happen to trip over a bag of money, I definitely want to come back here for dinner and I’m for sure coming back for happy hour. ;)
