The counter staff needs to be nicer. Say«Hello» and maybe… smile? Look around; there is too much pizza competition in Huntington Village for sour & rude service. Pizza here is as good as any.

They do have great specialty pies. But being a purist, a plain cheese pie is the mark of a truly great pizza. And they have that down pat. Whenever I’m in the neighborhood, I stop in for a slice.

Boy the pizza is good but I enjoy and when someone thanks me for the business and these guys don’t, they are nasty. This owner just does not get it, I assume an old guy set in his ways hiring the worst of the worst for bare minimum. I now regularly go to Porto Vivo. I figure I spend $ 200 a week because its a nice place, Everybody addresses you by your name and truly happy to see you. Rosas you will never figure out why your business s disappeared… keeping say these reviews are written by kids, I am 58,

This review is for the horrible service over the last two weeks. This is the third order in a few weeks. I ordered food for take out and was told 20– 30 minutes for pick up and they never made it. This last Sunday was the end for me. They ignored us. GUESS what I am not ignoring you by posting this review. I go way back with Rosas to Maspeth.

My go to pizza joint in Huntington. Crusty staff, but great food. Good selection of creative toppings. They will make slices, pies andpasta to order. Delicious.

Best pizza in Huntington village. Have tried a few other places and nothing compares to Rosa’s pizza.

Really good pizza. The tomato-garlic pie is incredible. Don’t pass up the garlic knots. Not the greatest place to sit down and eat, but the food is worth it.

Rosas is nearby and I was in dire need of a good pizza slice. The pizza is mediocre but they seemed so nice and pleasant. Today I walked in and the older bald headed gentleman who makes the pizzas proceeded to wipe his nose with his hand and then goes back to making the pizzas as if nothing happened.(Cringing) I am utterly disgusted and will be not giving them anymore of my business. In a town full of pizza places it’s not to hard to find a replacement. Go next door to Gino’s right across the street. Gino’s had a friendly and welcoming staff, the pizza tastes better and they’re clean which is a big plus obviously.

Good pizza but horrible service. Very rude cash register girl. Never fails, she has no personality and never says hello or thank you. I was there again today and really wanted to give Rosa’s another shot, but same girl with same negative, nasty, c*nty attitude. Smile for once and say thank you to your customers… It would make a world of a difference!

i will never eat in this place ever. i was here last night with a bunch of my friends as we were looking at the pizza one of the workers who seemed waaaayyyy to stressed to be back there(when the place wasnt even busy) runs up to us and screams«NEXT». we were still looking at the slices since it was our first time there, i told him we were still deciding to which he gets irritated by and runs away to do nothing. then he walks back up to us 5 mins later, so i decide to tell him my order which gets responded to by «No you cant, when i say next you order, if you arent ready you dont order pizza, cant you see im busy» he wasnt busy… there was no pizza in the oven!!! lord knows what was keeping him busy… so we waiting a few more minutes after being shocked and laughing at how misreble this guy was to see if he would help us, and he didnt until we started walking out the door to go to another place to eat. he yelled NEXT at us again staring us down, we laughed and kept walking if you are competing with better pizzerias in your area dont treat people like they are in an elementary school cafeteria… thankfully i kept my cool because that guy deserved to get smacked into a better attitude in conclusion we didnt buy pizza and we will never return, i see a bunch of other reviews of awful attitudes behind the counter, youd think the owner would get the hint and do something about it but hey what do i know? ive only been working in kitchens and managing restaurants for 10+ years… good luck

This pizza is amazing!!! The grandma slices are awesome, the mozzarella sticks are a must, and if you are in the mood for a salad, check out the chicken Caesar. Hands down, the best pizza in Huntington!

THISPLACESUCKSNOW. Its suckiness has been growing and has reached a climax this evening. The servers are all weird now; moody and don’t listen to you. I watched the owner’s son ring people up, and then go right back to knotting dough into garlic knots– who needs to wash their hands lol? Do yourself a favor, walk twenty paces across the street to Gino’s for a slammin panini. The owner there is consistently wonderful, world’s better than this heckhole.

Rosa’s pizza has been close to my heart since I was a teenager. This has always been my go-to pizza place to bring out of towners. Great pizza. Family business. The guys behind the counter do not mess around their food is dynamite. Every slice is amazing I always go with the margarita though, I’m a creature of habit and it’s just so delicious. Can’t go wrong. One of the best things about Rosa’s which had compelled me to write this review is that they started carrying Lemon Ice King of Corona ices!!! These are the best ices in town hands down. Love you Rosa’s Pizza!

WAYTOOMUCHATTITUDEFORVERYAVERAGEPIZZA I’m a physician working in Huntington Hospital for over 6 years. I decided to pick up a couple pizza pies for the nurses over in Huntington Hospital. These guys were crotchy and rude and flung my credit card on the counter. I felt like I was doing them a favor by eating their pizza. I spoke to a couple of my colleagues and many had similar experiences. Really bad customer service. If you don’t believe me, just check out the other postings. Gino’s pizzeria right across the street has way better pizza and NICK the owner is a really great guy.

Huntington food staple Living in chicago for 4 years made me really appreciate Rosas. The eggplant roll is the my go to meal choice in almost any food situation. This place does everything right. The slices and packed with cheese and in terms of taste rank slightly behind little Vincent’s for the best slice in huntington village. If you have ever had a late night in huntington after going hard at one of the bars you will have inevitably found yourself in Rosas ordering the tastiest conglomeration of pizza food goods. You can always count on them because they will pretty much stay open as late as people are out. Please don’t be a Rosas rookie and stand against the counter while deciding what to order. Order and move down to the register. Just kidding… but seriously it can get pretty crowded. One semi well kept secret this place has to offer is the excellent dine in food. If you ask for a menu and take a seat you can order from a wide array of authentic Italian food. They serve one of best eggplant parmesans I have had anywhere at a really good price. I don’t know what they do to their Italian dressing. In reality it’s nothing special but it really is great I have bought dressing to take home with me. Like another reviewer pointed out the buffalo slices are great just don’t forget the blue cheese dressing you need to order for a extra 50 cents or so to make this slice over the top. To be honest I have not had one specialty slice here that I wouldn’t want again. Pick something that looks fresh out of the oven and you will be happy. The garlic nots from here are my favorite because they are soaked in a garlic olive oil and are doughy with a satisfying crunchy exterior. Passing through huntington and not trying this place would be blasphemous to the all powerful pizza overlords.

Best buffalo, and BBQ slices I have ever had. The chicken is chopped up very finely, allowing for maximum flavor. Their regular pizza is the best value in town. The slices are very thick and have lots of cheese. Stays open late for the drunk people in town.

If you enjoy being stared down by 5 middle aged grumpy foreigners who look like the bad guys in the movie«Taken», than this place is your ticket to paradise. They act like they are doing you a favor and get annoyed if you’re not ready to order. The pizza itself is pretty good and they have a wide variety of toppings. A large eat in area is a plus. Food is good, attitudes need adjusting

Went here for the first time last week and it was quite good. The service was friendly and the slices were tasty. A little thicker than I prefer and they could have been a little warmer, but I usually go a few times before giving a final review, so check back later. A great location and still better than Little Vincent’s on Main Street. Seating was ample and the crowd was enthusiastic. I’ve heard good things, so I’ll give them another shot.
