I arrived at the hotel around 12pm on June 11 and the attendant stated that our room wasn’t ready. Which was understandable because check in isn’t until 3pm. The attendant assured me that«the room would absolutely be ready by 3pm». So my family continued on to our next destination and came back at 9:30pm to(you guessed it) a room that was only half ready. There was a different attendant on duty and while she did her her best to hold down the office and try to get our room ready, my family waited for about 20 mins before we we could enter our room… again, no fault to this attendant thrown under the bus. Nevertheless, as you can expect, the room wasn’t completely clean(toilet wasn’t cleaned, floor wasn’t vacuumed, tables were half-wiped, etc). Most of my experiences with Marriott-owned properties have been positive. Add that with the fact that my family was super-tired from a long day, is why we just it shrugged and decided to stay in the room. But for others who plan on staying here, I would just suggest that they CONFIRM their room is ready, and DOUBLECHECK that the room is clean.

Fairfield is the lowest tier in the spectum of Marriott brands, but you’ll find a wide variety of Fairfields. Some are great(Milwaukee), some are terrible(Branson) and some are like this one — perfectly fine. My room was clean and quiet, the water pressure on the shower was very good and the breakfast in the morning(yes, the Fairfield chain has a free breakfast) was fine. Plenty of parking, the internet worked find, and there was a power outlet on the small work desk. Restaurants within walking distance. I’d stay here again.

Business travelers — go elsewhere! That’s for one reason — the Wifi is 56k modem speed. It took me a full minute to get to this review page from Google. When I’ve had to do work in the evenings, I’ve resorted to driving the 10 minutes to Starbucks and buying endless 55 cent iced coffee refills simply in order to use marginally functional Wifi. Wifi on trains, buses, and airplanes is better than this. Surely Marriott can do better.

Facility is on the cheap side. Amenities. Breakfast. Etc. I stayed in a suite on third floor because they screwed my reservation up. I appreciated it. But the suite was really nothing but a kink bed with a pullout. TV was still small. Amenities still chopped up and low quality. On the upside. Bed was comfy and still got marriott points. Other than thy I’d try another first.

Nice quiet hotel that is easy to get to. Breakfast includes waffles, and good coffee as well as the normal fare. Nice indoor pool and hot tub but the hot tub was never hot while we were there. Nice affordable rates and free wifi in the room.
