Came to buy a MacBook Air and left with a MacBook Air. They had the model/trim I wanted and the peripherals I needed. I was the first one in the store so I had their full attention and the guy was nice and ready to rock. I already knew the specs I needed and have a very strong technical background so most of the conversation was just him and I joking about nothing. Purchasing time was uneventful. Just paid and left. I didn’t feel like anyone pressured me or ignored me. Overall would recommend this place over Best Buy for buying Apple products.

This was my first time going to simply Mac. I have only been an Apple fan for a couple of years and this was the first time I ever had an issue. My Mac Mini was having some issues and the video wasn’t working properly. And simply Mac was the closest place for me to be able to take this into to have it repaired under warranty. The staff was very friendly and helpful and they solved my problem and I got my Mac Mini back within a couple of days because they had to order some new parts first.

Have only been to Simply Mac once before this, but this was my first real experience in using their services, and therefore the perfect time to write a review up for them. About a week ago, my iMac started to have boot trouble, along with slow performance. After booting into Windows for a time, an error message popped up informing me of «inevitable hard drive failure» and to backup immediately. After doing some troubleshooting work myself, I found out that the drive was kicking out a S.M.A.R.T. error and that I would need to take it in for service. I knew that Simply Mac offered warranty repair service through AppleCare, so I took it into them to see if they would fix it. I took it in first thing Monday morning and told them about the issue. They looked up the serial number, made me sign a few things and sent me on my way. After a few days, they sent me an email confirmation telling me that they had ordered a part from Apple and my repair would be finished within a few days. A few days later, the iMac was indeed finished. Total repair time: 4 days. That doesn’t seem so bad, but it was just a failed hard drive. They could have replaced it within a day had they had the parts on hand. Another part that I did take slight issue with is that they installed Snow Leopard on the new machine, when I had been running Lion for over a year by then. It’s not a big deal, and I was going to reformat the machine upon receipt anyway, but it would have been nice to see them go the extra mile. All in all, I’d definitely go back for more repairs if they were to arise. Haven’t bought anything from them however, so I don’t know how that experience is.
