The lunch special is a great deal. For $ 5, you can pick two entrees(spaghetti, fettuccine alfredo, lasanga, pizza slice and salad) and it comes with a drink. The staff is always nice and the breadsticks are very tasty.

Service was ok, food just OK, good bread sticks. Value for money is overpriced. Store was clean. Too much for not so good food.

I c this chain in a lot of places but I’ve never come in here. I ordered a double slice of cheese pizza because I wanted something quick and I was a little disappointed. Looks like they are better known for their pasta. If I do come back here I’ll give that a try but I’m guessing I’ll never get that chance.

I recently went here for a quick dinner to go. While the food was decent the reason I’m taking the time to write this review is the service. The young lady that took my order was friendly and knowledgeable of the food, but I could not get past the lady(term used loosely) who was raising her voice at other employees. The way she talked to them was unacceptable. I assume she is also the manager and for this reason I will not be returning and will also discourage family and friends from doing so. I did ask what her name is and its Cheryl. Honestly she shouldn’t be in charge of anyone. Just horrible!

We haven’t been back since last August when I gave this place a 4-star rating. Yesterday we were close by and decided to pop in for an early dinner. My friend ordered his usual, penne with meat sauce. I ordered the Ultimate Meatball Smasher, not realizing that it came with something called«Garlic Pepper Sauce». As I started to take a bite, my nose was hit with a VERY strong vinegar smell. I took a bite and my mouth started burning. I tried another bite and had to return the sandwich to the counter. I have had many meatball sandwiches, but none with any kind of pepper sauce. Has anyone else tried this and found it impossible to eat?

Boy has fazolis turned it around from the last time I was in here a few months ago,(they must’ve read my last Unilocal post) wait staff that are happy to see you, the place is clean and they have replaced the utensils with something a lot more sturday. Let me also add that I didn’t get my lasagna served to me in an aluminum pan… for me that’s a big deal They must have also replaced the management staff here because the last bunch couldn’t charm the wart off a frog. The people here tonight are very nice and I don’t mean the fake nice either and her assistant well you can tell when they are a good match for a restaurant Did I mention the place is clean, easily the cleanest I have seen it in some time, sure it’s kinda slow right now but it doesn’t matter, that’s when you can tell between those employees who care and who don’t Bravo! To changing things for the better

Fazoli’s doesn’t put on airs… They are Fast Food Italian but they do it pretty well. Hubby and I were hungry, wishing for Italian, too lazy to make it ourselves but not interested in spending a lot of time out on a rainy Saturday night so we headed over to Fazoli’s on 39th Street in Independence. For our money we got chopped lettuce salads, generous entrée helpings of lasagna for Hubs and Chicken Parmesan with Spaghetti for me and a choice of drinks for both of us. It was right at six o’clock in the evening and nearly every table was occupied with half a dozen waiting in line in front of us to order. But the line moved quickly and we easily found seats and got started on the salads. A young woman popped by to offer bread sticks and the lettuce was fresh and crisp and garnished with chopped tomato. Half way through the salads, a young man came by and offered more warm bread sticks. It did seem to take a wee bit longer that most fast food for our entrees to arrive at our table but the young woman(a different one) said she was sorry for the delay and offered us desserts for our having to wait — which is a very nice gesture. My spaghetti was very good and so was the sauce. The Chicken patty was tender and the breading well flavored but the actual chicken perhaps lacked much hearty flavor and seemed bland. It is a large serving and I ended up bringing about half of it home with me. Hubby’s lasagna was also a large serving and he ended up eating all of it and then feeling too full, so it must have tasted pretty good. Less than an hour after heading out to 39th Street, we were pulling back into our driveway. No muss, no fuss. Hubby’s only comment as we let ourselves back into our house was«Too bad we don’t have a Fazoli’s in Raytown.» I would tend to agree.

Used to be good back in the day(4 years ago)… Now slow, and the food taste bland, premade, and is put together sloppily on occasion.

Ugh. OK, they reeled me in with their new commercial saying how they’ve changed, and they serve you at your table, with real plates and silverware! First off, I and most everybody else, chose to take their sealed plasticware packages because the silverware is in a dirty, dingy bin with snot-nosed kids pawing them. And the place was chock full of snot-nosed kids running around. It’s like a Chuckie Cheese without the games. The side salad was palatable. Then they brought me my lasagna… gross! It tasted like a bad TV dinner lasagna. The breadsticks have changed. They are these tiny little over garlic-salted things now. I hadn’t been to this place in probably around 10 years and I don’t plan on ever returning again. I will go down the street to Zio’s for very nearly the same price and get much higher quality food and service. Seriously folks, I could have spent maybe $ 10 more for the 4 of us to eat at Zio’s. This place is not that cheap.

I don’t normally eat Italian out. And I don’t like to spend a fortune on it if I do. So, this place fits me. I really like the lasagna. You can taste the ricotta cheese. I know, it’s a chain, but that’s aw-right. Those breadsticks, too. But the other day when I ate inside the restaurant, they didn’t pass the breadsticks, and I had to ask about it. They said, «Oh, do you want breadsticks?» And they bought out the basket of breadsticks. I like this place better than the local hamburger places, by far. It’s cheap, fast Italian food. Can’t complain about that. Inside service? Not so good, so what? Order it to go, but the drive through can be a little slow, so order it to go and go inside to order. Service problems solved.

Another guilty pleasure of mine. Fast, cheap, easy«Italian» food. Luckily, we’re not actually what we eat. :) And once again, I guess I’m a sucker for endless breadsticks. Either a sucker, or a glutton. haha.
