Tried first time today about 12:30. No one at the order counter when I walked in. $ 8.92 for 4 small chicken strips and potato salad. Headed out the door and the order girl is running after me saying sir, sir we gave you the wrong order!

Love their wings, but be careful ordering and check your order before you walk out because they seem to get it wrong time to time. Overall pretty good sauce distribution-a lot better than Buffalo Wild Wings!

Gotta love Wingstop. We use to travel 45 minutes just to have their wings. Now that we live in Raytown this is one of our regular places to eat.

Wow… you leave the Duke waiting while my food gets cold sitting on the counter. Talk about absent minded.

Wingstop is a nice addition to the ‘fast casual’ scene close to home. My wife and I usually order the 30 wing family pack, priced at $ 26, which includes a large order of fries. Food is cooked to order, so you’ll wait 10 – 15 minutes between placing your order and it being up. They have one of the new-fangled mix and match pop machines, which I personally like. Their fries are actually some of the best in town. The seasoning they use is really quite good the fries themselves taste fresher than most too. Now, I consider Buffalo Wild Wings to be the wings against which all other wings are judged. Compared to BWW, Wingstop’s wings are quite a bit smaller and have less meat on them. That said, in terms of wing size/meatiness, they’re pretty much on par with most places that serve wings, and the quality is on par with BWW which is very good when compared to lower quality wing providers such as Pizza Hut’s «wingstreet». Their prices are also a bit lower per-wing than BWW, so it’s understandable on that front as well. The weirdest thing about this restaurant is that there is no trash can. I have no idea why they chose not to have a trash can in the dining room, but it means that you’re pretty much forced to leave your trash on your table. That feels odd to me.

This is my new favorite place to eat! I love the little glider sandwiches with mild sauce! The pickles and yeast rolls make them even more incredible! The mango habanero is also yummy! Their fries are SO good!!! So fresh and a perfect mix of sweet and salty… I’ve never had anything like them! The bourbon baked beans have great flavor! Even their ranch dipping sauce is fresh tasting and delicious! Love it!!!

First time ordering today and was impressed! Staff was super friendly! WAY better prices than bww and better! We got the triple family pack and you get a lot for $ 25. Mango habenaro was perfect! It was not as hot as I had anticipated but still hot, don’t get me wrong! Louisiana rub had good flavor but very, very salty. The one thing that pissed me off is that we created our entire order on the website and then at the end to send the order to the store they require a credit card. We are cash people so we had to call it in. Eh, first world problems! They got our order right and that is all that matters!

First time here. Was immediately impressed by the great attitude by the manager who helped us. I usually go to Bdubs, thought i would give this place a shot. I like the food and the atmosphere. What more can you say except the food was hot, fresh and good the attitude of the employees is great.

I like that they wait for you to order before making the wings and fries. Everything tastes fresh and hot. The good: The Mango Habanero and the original hot wings are both very tasty. I think I like the original hot wings the best. The fries are quite good. Fresh, hot, and made to order. They are supposed to be hand cut and they are well seasoned. The blue cheese is real and has chunks of cheese in it. Not the crappy«sauce» Hooter’s has gone to! It’s also quite a large container of it compared to other places. The not so good: The size of the wing(pieces) are absolutely ridiculous! I seriously think pigeon wings would be bigger! Where do some of these places get these things!?! They were good but after eating 8 of them I was still hungry. I couldn’t even finish 6 wings at Wings Café. Even though this place serves fresh, made to order wings, I’m not sure I’ll come back. What you get for the money really isn’t worth it.

The search for good wings is a never-ending endeavor. Buffalo Wild Wings closed in Raytown, Wing Busters in Grandview appears closed, and Pizza Hut’s Wing Street quality is hit or miss. So needless to say, I was excited to see Wing Stop as I was leaving Starbucks one day. We visited on a Saturday night. There were only one or two parties dining inside, but the carryout crowd was in full effect. This is a new restaurant so, it’s fresh and clean. The young lady that took our order was a bit giddy and stumbling over her words(which was cute and a little unnerving at the same) but she managed to get our order right. We ordered the 15 wing special — includes 15 Wings(1 or 2 flavors), 1 Large Order of Fresh Cut Seasoned Fries, 2 Dips and a pair of 20oz. Drinks. The wait was about 15 – 20 minutes. There’s a sign that says everything is made to order, alerting you to the potential of an extended wait period. From the dinning room there’s a long glass wall so you can see into the kitchen. I think that’s a neat addition to a wing spot. The wings were hot, fresh and tasty. The season fries were as well. Overall a good experience. Glad to have them in the area. I’ll definitely try them again.

One of the fun things about trying a new place is the possibility of finding a new favorite place. When I called around 4:30 I told the girl answering the phone I hadn’t tried their wings yet & asked how their medium sauce compared to the medium sauce at BWW with respect to the spiciness. She responded by asking, ‘um, did you say you wanted to order some wings tomorrow?’ I am not a mumbler and I had to repeat EVERY statement at least twice. It was a long frustrating conversation and included her telling me they were located across the street from the Walmart. I was perplexed as there isn’t anything ‘across the street’ from Walmart. It is in the same area on the same side of the street. I decided to try the rolls, fries &20 wings– ½ mild and ½ medium. I said I’d pick them up at 5:15. Perfect time to get fresh, hot food right? When I got there my order was ready. Not many people eating in the restaurant and there appeared to be at least 15 people in the kitchen area. I hadn’t eaten today so when I picked up my order I immediately wanted to try a roll. Before leaving the parking lot I pulled one out. Not warm. Oh well, the flavor & texture could still be good, right? Nope, not really. Just knew the fries would be better so I pulled them out. The fries were barely warm & limp. I love cheese on my fries. I’ll post of pic of the ‘cheese sauce.’(think orange plastic here) By that time my expectations of the wings were lowered. Yet, they still disappointed. The first thing my son said was, ‘these have no flavor. They don’t taste like anything.’ Sigh, I had to agree. The medium were slightly better than the mild but that wasn’t saying much. I live near a grocery store so left & got a bottle of wing sauce. Put them in the oven & coated them. With the SBRay’s wing sauce they were good. So, the down side of trying a new restaurant is it might prove to be a big waste of money. Next time we want a wing fix it will be Buffalo Wild Wings. What a huge disappointment this was.

So happy to have a good wing place so close. Love the fact that it is all made to order. Yes, that means you wait, but I would rather wait and have fresh wings as opposed to fast service where the wings are rubbery and have been hanging out under a heat lamp. Heat lamps? Not here. The fries were a little odd, but I am not one to love sugar on my fries. I got the hot sauce, which was pretty darn good. I am looking forward to going back and trying every sauce on the menu. The only thing I did not love is that the fact that the person taking our order did not say, «Hey, if you two are ordering together, you can save a few dollars by doing the meal for two that we have.» That would have been top notch service and would have earned them 5 stars.

I know it’s a chain. I like Wingstop, and was pleased when I noticed that a Wingstop was moving to this shopping center. No more gong to Blue Springs! Wingstop is a step down(Or in some cases, a step up) from Buffallo Wild wings. I like the Hawaiian, and terriyaki, but i“m a light weight when it comes to hot food. I just don’t like hot wings. Each wing is breaded, and sauce adequate. But my favorite thing in Wingstop is either the french fries or the yeast rolls. They do French fries so well, and you can tell that the fries are cut from a real, not frozen potato. You can taste the essence of sweetness, and spice. The yeast rolls are better than the rolls I make from scratch. These are right on, and I’m going to use Wingstop for Thanksgiving rolls. In the family pack you get 25 wings, a large fry, 3 rolls and a cup of veggies, which are celery and carrot sticks. I swear I could go here, eat a yeast rolls, fries and veggie sticks. But the wings are excellent. The service was hectic, but friendly. i’m just happy to have a Wingstop in my neighborhood. Something besides McDonalds or Wendys.
