This place is so awesome! Good eats, beer pong, bounce house, and live music on weekends. Fun, relaxed autmosphere. It’s a nice place to to go and chill out, get your drink on, and let loose with friends. Had my brother’s birthday event here and it was fun. Prices are decent and the food is appetizing. And it only gets even yummier as you intake more alcohol. :) Can’t wait to come back

This place was pretty good, but I heard from fellow Unilocalers who were at the event that it would be it’s last night in business. I actually really liked the atmosphere of being in middle of an RV park. in Irvine. It was pretty obvious people were there to just have a good time with cheap beer, as they had plenty of tables out for beer pong! Wish I had known about this place sooner before they had to close down.

R.I.P. Roosters Fun Bar, what my dear Alex P. refers to as the most random and awesome backyard party ever. Actual roosters milling about, Christmas lights adorning a big red barn, a mildly calm-seeming pond, a couple of neatly lit large gazebos, random beer pong tables, large flat panel TVs set up outside, a decent cover band — all in the middle of an RV park and sales pitch. Damn you, Irvine, damn you and your company to all heck and get out. $ 6HH pizzas? Tasty, fresh, generous with toppings and certainly a great meal or snack the day after. $ 3 – 4 a pint for beers? So sweet. The service was a little disorganized and occasionally disinterested but for the most part the employees are extremely kind and did their smiling best. Thank you Alex, my big bro, Erica L., Chewy + Erica, and even a super special guest appearance by Deli Jefferson for helping me to usher out a true landmark establishment into that great big night. Shutting down Traveland, ergo shutting down Roosters. Reason #19t57296fl1−3=0r51=74jq9oj3pt8 why I hate Irvine.

Roosters Fun Bar, like a bad ass frat party on a farm. This place is too cool for Irvine, so cool in fact they have to shut it down. Hey Roosters relocate to Costa Mesa we like bad ass here.

I usually wait until I’ve tried something twice before writing a review, but after finding out that the bar will be closing next Friday, I won’t have a chance. This place is in an obscure location in Irvine among an RV dealership. Like Laura S says, it ain’t a dive, it ain’t a restaurant and it ain’t classy. IT is however, a FUN bar with beer pong tables, a pool table and a full bar that serves up some decent food. I tried the jalapeño poppers when I was here celebrating the birth of an «old» man. The drinks are just ok, but the company and atmosphere more than make up for it. It will be sad to see this new discovery go.

Closed Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. Fail. They should really take down the signs that say«Roosters, this way» when they aren’t even open. Or at least have it on the sign that they are closed on said days. I really want to try this place — too bad it wasn’t open tonight since I really wanted to give it a try! Yes, it is in a middle of an RV Park. But, look for the pond/lake type thing and a big red building, and you’ve found it! Hopefully one day I can give this place a shot since $ 3 beers and $ 6 pizza sounds amazing! Cheers!

Roosters Fun Bar. Odd name for a bar, don’t you think? Well, let me just say that they live up to their namesake. They do have roosters here just kinda walking around the premises(I tried to catch one, but was unsuccessful. It did however, lead to quite a few jokes about chasing the cock or how the cock is elusive). With an outdoor area with beer pong tables, bounce house, and a basketball hoop, it’s definitely fun. And to top it all off, they have a fully stocked bar. Roosters Fun Bar. Makes total sense. The prices for the drinks are great. I think I paid $ 3 or $ 4 bucks for a pint of Stella and my friend says that they have a pretty heavy hand for you liquor drinkers. To top it all off, their pizzas are pretty damn tasty. I’ll definitely be back to this awesome little bar. It feels like you’re drinking at a friend’s place without the hassle of having to clean up afterwards. Oh, and one last thing that makes Roosters Fun Bar even more interesting. It’s located inside of an RV dealership. So yes, you’re in the right area, just keep driving in until you see the place, it’s there.

Is it a dive bar? No. Is it a classy bar? No. Is it a restaurant? Not really. So what is going on here? Fun. Fun inside of an RV Park! There’s a room, with a bar, that serves food. There’s HH4 – 7 Thurs & Friday with $ 6 regular sized pizzas, $ 3 import beers, and $ 13 import pitchers. Lots of TV’s for sports watching. There’s a large outdoor area — too big to be called a patio. There’s chickens. There’s a bounce house. There was a live rock cover band. There’s lots of beer pong. All in the middle of travel land, usa. An RV park in Irvine at sand canyon and the 5. I hear they are closed Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday. This place is so damn unique, especially for Irvine … 5 stars for you!

Good atmosphere! But the food was eh. We got the Old-Fashioned burgers, fried zucchini, and jalapeño poppers. The Fried zucchini and jalapeño poppers were expensive and they only gave you a handful. The fries with the burger was dry and not good. Anywho, played beer pong and chilled with friends. A gem inside of an RV park! I shall have to try the pizza next time. 3.5 stars.

Pros: Cheap drinks, beer pong tables, pizza Cons: It’s in the middle of a RV park(It might be a con for some haha) Irvine + RV Park = Rooster’s Fun Bar Driving on the 5, I always notice a random RV park off the freeway. I always think to myself, «Irvine has RV parks? No way». I was more shocked to find out that there’s actually a pretty cool bar in the middle of the RV park called«Rooster’s Fun Bar». It’s not necessarily a dive bar, but they do have several beer pong tables set up outside. The beer is affordable so there’s never a break in your beer pong and flip cup games with your friends. The food here is actually pretty good too. The combination pizza is definitely a must. If you aren’t too cool for RV parks and down for a good time, check this place out.

Went again yesterday, and experience was worthy of an update :) Monday happy hour: 50 cent wings, if you get a dozen, you get a free domestic pint. HELLODEAL!!!(that being said, for $ 6, you get a pint and a twelve pack of wings). GOGOGO. — despite it being a slightly slower afternoon, all employees were assisting all patrons… which equals great service. Total bill? $ 16.16 for 2 craft pints, 2 well drinks, and a twelvepack of wings. WINNERWINNERCHICKENDINNER!

Wow, talk about a college dive bar. It’s actually located inside the RV/trailer parking lot. Make sure you circle around counter clockwise(like the sign says) or else you’ll run into the spike strips and your night will end earlier than you would hope. They don’t have that many beers on tap, but it’s acceptable. They’ve got beer pong outside, a basketball hoop, small live music going on inside, and outside seating. Oh, and lots of girls too. Apparently they have a total lack of resources here. They’re understaffed, the kitchen closes at like 10PM, and for some reason, if you ever get your hands on an empty pitcher, hang onto it because there are only like 8 of them for the whole place or something.

This place is pretty gnarly! It’s a dive-bar without the eery darkness(at least inside) and gruffy bartenders and weirdo single men who’s trying to buy you a drink while wobbling over. This bar is a really casual place where friends go to hang out, grab some food and drink, and play some friendly games. They have a mini pool table inside and several very simple activities to do outside for the sake of passing time to sober up; there was a tiny putting rug in the gazebo, but we decided to shoot some hoops before we left. It was a really nice night out and I definitely enjoyed just hanging outside. Roosters is definitely a unique place and pretty hidden. It’s located in a RV sales ground; Roosters is clustered with some small offices so it’s not the only business there, but definitely the biggest. Driving through the RV sales ground seems pretty awkward(esp at night), but it was interesting to have a change of environment. There were so many rabbits on the grounds hopping around and ducks in the lake when we went which made the place so much more interesting. I think there are actual roosters there in the morning. This is definitely not where you would normally grab a drink! The food is really decently priced and tasty for it. We got the pastrami and classic burger. I enjoyed the pastrami sandwich especially with the side of home-made potato salad with bacon in it! It has a tasty bacon-smoky flavor which I thought was unique in potato salad. The salad was also not very greasy since they don’t put a lot of mayo in it. The classic burger is well, classic. It’s pretty much your average beef burger, but for $ 5.50 with a side, it’s definitely a deal! Another note, I really enjoyed their side of cole-slaw. I have never liked any cole-slaw I’ve ever ordered from a restaurant, but I sure enjoyed it here! It has the right amount of tang and sweetness! Roosters has a full bar so you can order pretty much any drink you normally would. They also have beer in bottles and beers on draft. The beers on draft are also pretty unique. The night we went, they had several IPAs, but didn’t have any because they were a bit too bitter for my taste. What’s also cool is that they let you sample the beer before committing to one =) The prices for drinks are decent — we didn’t go during happy hour, but since we enjoyed our experiences, we would definitely be back for happy hour!

There was a deal on one of those ‘deals’ sites. $ 25 worth of food for $ 10, I think. The outside of the restaurant looks like a barn. Some people were sitting outside on the hot day eating a pizza — don’t know how they could stand the heat. Beat up bounce house, 7′ basketball rim that was on its last hinges, algae filled duck pond next door. I had super high expectations that this place would be as awesome on the inside as it was on the outside. Unfortunately, it wasn’t. The inside décor was way too modern and clean. I wanted beat up wood tables and chairs but what i got were padded chairs or plastic ones for the side tables. Clean tables with big ass TV’s basically edge to edge along the walls. Oh well, can’t win em all. The waitresses were also cute. We ordered: fried zucchini — quite possibly the worst zucchini I’ve ever had. It made Carl’s Jr zucchini seem gourmet. let me guess how they were prepared… zucchini sliced in circles, dipped in buttermilk, coated with bread crumbs, then fried. Zucchini didn’t get cooked all the way through so they weren’t the piping hot and soft variety that I look forward to. The wife commented that they tasted«raw». chicken quesadilla — I was hoping this was something the kid could eat, but didn’t turn out that way. it was like chicken fajitas with an abundance of pickled jalapenos thrown in, sandwiched into a tortilla which was lacking enough cheese to be considered a proper quesadilla. Tried to give the kid a piece of the burnt tortilla and cheese that wasn’t near the peppers, but it pretty much is saturated with the spiciness. Not overpowering for me, but for a 2 year old, yeah, she wasn’t digging it. pastrami sandwich — decent fatty pastrami with nice thick sliced pickles — kid loved it. The bread however didn’t seem too fresh. bbq chicken sandwich — nice grill marks on the chicken and the meat still retained its juices. I took a bite and it was good, not great. Its still in the fridge for leftovers. Vic the Brick Jacobs happened to be at the RV park to do a promo for AM570KLAC. That was the highlight of the day for me to hang out with him for a while. It was all downhill as soon as we stepped into the restaurant. Taste: 3 stars. Pretty average stuff for the price you pay. Service: 2 stars. Slow. Table beside me left after waiting and waiting for the waitress to take their order after receiving their menus. Atmosphere: 3 star. very clean bar with lots of tvs playing sports. Would I go back? No

I finally came to Roosters yesterday to see what everyone was raving about. It is located inside an RV lot and totally felt like we were in the backyard of a college party or frat house. Beers on tap are served in red cups for about $ 3 bucks a cup or you could buy a pitcher. Unfortunately, we tried to order a pitcher yesterday but they ran out for the time being. It was just me and my gf so we watched people play bp. I’m definitely coming back to play some drinking games. It looks so fun. They have benches to sit around with heat lamps, a little bonfire, a bounce house, basketball hoop, ping pong table and a bunch of bp tables. This place is legit

This is a total dive. But the food is really good! They have $ 6 lunch specials, which includes a side and drink. The first time I was here, I had the special which that day was a pulled pork sandwich. It was good, the sauce was delicious, but I wish it was smokier. It came with a side of baked beans which was also very good and had a lot of pepper flavors. I came back a second time a few days later, and ordered the pizza. We ended up ordering a half combo, and half veggie. The dough was good, and all the ingredients are fresh. Lunch is surprisingly busy if you get there after noon. I’m curious about evening happy hour, but I’m almost afraid of getting lost finding my car at dark in a sea of RVs.

I’m afraid to Unilocal this place in fear this place will be coagulated by the throng of people coming here to have a good time, with good food, and good people. But I feel obligated to contribute the next great review this place will receive in the many years to come. Nestled in a nook in what can only be described as RV Heaven is a red barn with live animals walking around(please don’t pet) and a pond. Picnic Seats line the inside court with a gazebo, ping pong tables, a moonbounce, basketball hoop, and what? BEERPONG tables. This place has everything for adults, everything Dnbs doesn’t. Inside the Bar area are 8 Large flat screens usually showing the game(in our case, the Heat/Bulls Finals) 1 pool table, Deer Hunting USA, and tables for people to eat/relax. Other than all the fun things to do, they have great backyard, diner type food. The Chicken Supreme sandwhich is awesome, with grilled chicken breast, american chese, and grilled onions. The Italian Sausage is also delicious. Their Beer Battered onion rings are pretty good, and while their french fries are great, their chili cheese is better left off the fries. Fried Zucchini is also a great appetizer. They have IPAs and Pale Ales on tap, as well has A Widmer Heff… don’t worry… they have Budight on tap for those Beer Pong Games. This place is great, the people here are all awesome and nice, and this place is all about good times. So if you got as lazy day ahead of you, call the boys, and head to the Fun Bar! Tip your waiters accordingly.

I love telling people that I’m going to go to a trailer park to drink, play beer pong, watch sports games, and occasionally line dance. This place stands up to it’s hype though! It’s perfect for all ages — Kids have ping pong tables/bounce house/basketball hoops, College kids have beer pong and sports on tv, and rest of the adults have cheap alcohol and food! So jealous of my friends who live in Irvine who can go Roosters for happy hour. If only i could have $ 2 – 4 beers and wells, and $ 6 pizzas :(

So many years of passing the RV park on the I-5 and Sand Canyon, I never had driven through the entrance! It was like stepping back in time! I never knew there was a peaceful man-made lake within the confines of RV land! The setting was more casual than I expected; the tabletops are nice. The food was OK. The staff was not terribly attentive, but quite friendly! The best part was the tasty and reasonably-priced drinks — even outside of Happy Hour!

This place is definitely a hidden gem in a fairly unknown and unlikely place in Irvine. You literally have to drive to the middle of a RV park to find it. But wow once you get here it’s like you dropped into a land far far away. For those True Blood fans the exterior of this place has that feeling of Merlotte’s as you pull up. There’s a huge lake full on the a bridge, large gazebo for dances during the summer, they even have a bounce house for the kids. For the college kids they have 2 beer pong tables outside in the gas heated patio area. If you’re so inclined they even have a portable basketball hoop setup with a basketball available for those drunken midnight bball games. Inside they have a pool table with large tvs mounted on every single wall with a variety of games, or even movies. There’s even free wifi for those that wanna do some studying or work. During nights they also feature live band performances. The patrons seems to be typical of the«older» retired folk, but don’t let that turn you down because everyone was actually quite lively and friendly. During dinner tonight alot of the older patrons even went on stage with the live singer do some peudo duets. For those looking for a new happy hour spot this maybe this new place to hit up. They feature a full bar and pretty reasonably priced beers. I had the $ 4 hefeweizen on tap, but they also had the special for $ 3 beers during march madness games. Food wise they have the typical sports bar foods ranging from burgers, sandwiches/wraps and pizzas. I have the BBQ chicken burger which was a grilled chicken breast topped with tangy BBQ sauce, lettuce, sliced red onions, tomatoes and 2 pickle slices with the fries. It was actually pretty good as the chicken was still pretty moist along with the toasted wheat bun. The fries were also pretty fried and slightly salty. We also got the Spicy Chicken Caesar wrap with a side of coleslaw. This thing was like 2HUGE burritos so if you can finish both halves you might need to loosen your belt. It had the right mix of spice along with the crispy of the chopped lettuce and diced chicken. The coleslaw was my least favorite since is was alittle on the bland side, but nothing alil pepper couldn’t fix. Also keep a look out in your mailers for those buy one get one free lunch/dinner entrée 25% off happy hour coupons. So if you’re looking for a new bar or food place to try check this place out. Better yet this place is opened till 2am on thur-sat!
