My favorite location! I come in here once or twice a week, and the staff is so nice, remembers my name and order, and makes fantastic drinks. It can be a little busy in the mornings, but what Starbucks isn’t? 5 stars for customer service and quality!

Ugh. I’m actually still in the store. Ordered a Blackeye 7 minutes ago. They have one barista and two cashiers. Customers piled up waiting for drinks. And when people order complicated drinks with only one barista it takes forever. Bad staffing today the least. Ok. Now 8 minutes. Not acceptable! Stay away unless you want to be here a while.
Ok. Gotta edit. Got my drink but the coffee, Which was poured it when I place my order, sat on the counter so long before they could put in my ad shots that it is now lukewarm at best. So now I have to get it remade because I do like my coffee hot. What a disaster

This Starbucks location definitely has the best service among Starbucks I have been to in California. However, this location lacks adequate desks and furnitures.

Great and friendly service at this location. Josh, Tara, Sahar (?-sorry), Valerie and the other baristas are great. The drinks are always made well and are for the most part timely. This is our standard weekend location and can get busy sometimes but for the most part we greatly enjoy it. If you get in past 9 it seems to get a little too crazy of a line. Thanks to all the hard working baristas for keeping me caffeinated!

No matter what time of day, there’s a long line. Avoid this location if you’re on your way to work because you’ll be waiting awhile for a cup of coffee. They always seem understaffed for the a.m. rush.

I really love this location. The employees are always nice and they’ve never messed up my order. The lines here get pretty long so I recommend using mobile order. That’s what I do 90% of the time and it’s great. I place my order through the starbucks app and within about 3 – 5 minutes, my drink is ready to go. I come here early in the morning (4:50/5AM) often and it’s so nice how I can just come in, grab my drink, and be out the door asap.
If you live in the area, order your drink «extra hot» on the app when you leave your house. It will be perfect by the time you arrive at starbucks and you wont have to wait in line or for your drink to be made.
Outside, they have comfy lounge chairs. I always see dog owners hanging out and enjoying the sunshine with their coffee. There’s outdoor tables here as well (with umbrellas). Whether you want to come here to chill or just grab and go, it’s a good location. The only thing that mildly sucks is the parking. Even that part isn’t too bad.
Last thing: customer service is fantastic. There have been a few times where I ordered something via the app and stuff was out of stock. When I came to pick up my drinks/​food, they told me the item was unavailable and refunded me. Plus, they gave me a $ 5 store credit to use next time I came in! I really appreciated that.

This is one of the most inefficient Starbucks I have yet to encounter… It doesn’t matter if there are two people line or 10 people in line you can guarantee a 20 minute process just to get a cup of coffee! They need to form a better assembly line or find more efficient ways to handle it why because I’ve seen other Starbucks handle a rush with Grace and this Starbucks seems to crash and burn every time not to mention getting everyone’s orders wrong in the process. Only come here if you are not pressed for time it is conveniently located… go on mobile app before you go in for sure!

I came here on a Thursday afternoon and the baristas there were very friendly — especially compared to the ones at a few other Irvine locations. There is a good amount of indoor seating to do some work or reading and a lot of outdoor seating as well. It does get busy at around 5−6PM, when people are getting off work, so keep that in mind if you’re in a rush.

After years of this being my neighborhood Starbucks, I’ve officially thrown in the towel. The line and wait times at this location has grown out of hand over the years. The thought of dedicating 15 – 25 minutes to get a cup of coffee is ridiculous.
If another coffee shop opened up in QH, the sheer overflow would make them very profitable.

The service during the day is great. At night; its terrible… Dont waste your time waiting at this Starbucks when you can go to another with better service.

Great Starbucks… horrible, horrible patrons. consider this the d-​bag Starbucks. Don’t expect any manners in this part of town…

So this particular location isn’t my go to simply because there’s one directly across the street from my office. This morning was different because I had to stop at albertsons which is in the same shopping center.
I know from working in Irvine for about 3 years now this location can get extremely busy in the morning so I decided to order using my mobile app to avoid the line.
I ordered a trenta mango black tea lemonade with extra ice, but when I get there I was informed there was no more mango syrup. Ugh! The thing about the mobile app is there’s no way of knowing so the barista immediately apologized and offered my next drink on Starbucks! I didn’t ask for anything nor was I expecting anything so kudos to you guys!
Great customer service!

Positives: redesign makes you feel like your in your living room drinking a cup of coffee
They’re very friendly and customer oriented
Drinks are always top notch
Negatives: take very long to make orders so if you’re in a rush you might need to go else where
Tend to get the orders wrong at least for me, I think I’ve asked for iced coffee with milk and sweetener 3 or 4 times and they always make it wrong

I always come in to this location! It’s actually my favorite. and today there was a couple of new people, so welcoming and friendly. Keep it up starbucks: D

I’ve been coming to this location since 2005. It is by far my favorite location. It’s actually my neighborhood location. I usually drop in on a daily basis. It is usually really early in the morning or in the late evening. I’ve seen many baristas come and go. I have to say Tara, James, Miguel, and Colin are my favorite.
I recommend going to Starbucks early in the morning or later in the morning to beat the crowd. It gets pretty busy between 8am-9:30am. I usually try to get in there before 6am. Miguel is usually there with a welcoming smile. If I get there later, the regulars are usually smiling just as bright.
As far as the drink, I only drink espressos. I usually have my triple shot under ice. I cannot comment on any other drinks.
As far as the food, I enjoy a breakfast sandwich here and there. The oatmeal is pretty tasty. I love the Cesar salad, the veggies and brown rice salad, and the bistro boxes.
The shop is usually filled with tons of people. I’ve seen people come here to work, to hold meetings, and even study sessions. Saturday and Sunday mornings are usually really packed. If you want to go here for a study session, I recommend going later in the day. You usually have the cyclists, pure barre ladies, and families hanging out in the mornings on the weekends.
The shop itself is pretty clean. They do a good job of keeping everything in order.
This is the closest Starbucks to me. The Alton Pkwy and Irvine Center Drive locations tend to mess up my drink order. I love the people. I refuse to go to other locations. I love my drinks!

This is the dirtiest Starbucks I’ve ever been in. Don’t think I will be retuning.

This is my favorite Starbucks location in Irvine! (I swear the Alton one hates me for some reason and always gives me a hard time, and the Crossroads one is busy because of the high school kids).
Lines are pretty long in the morning during the morning rush/​work hours, and the line doesn’t move as fast as I want to, but any other time I come, their customer service is great.
The reason why I like this location is because they make my drink perfectly without giving me any hassle: P I’ve never had a bad drink here! They’re also super friendly, and chat with you if they’re not too busy.
Individual tables are a little small and large/​community tables are in the middle of the Starbucks! Lots of outdoor seating outside :)

Everyone knows Starbucks. It’s the Quail Hill community that makes this one different. Imagine a store where ALL your neighbors go. Well that is this one… and they’re here ALL the time. Long lines, nice staff, adequate coffee. Just go to one down the highway if you don’t want to sit in line and see your neighbor in pajamas.
Update alert: they renovated the store a few weeks ago to allow for slightly more seating. Good job! Oh and I saw my neighbor in new doggy pajamas. Hilarious!

I have to say by far this is one of the best Starbucks I have been to.
They might be shortstaffed time to time. But they still get your order done in time.
I love the outdoor seating area very nice!

Very cool little Starbucks located right off of the 405 at exit 3. I do quite a bit of business in the area and frequent this establishment often. I even manage to hit this location up when on the road from Los Angeles to San Diego.
What I dig about this location it is literally right off of the freeway and located in a large shopping center which includes several banks, restaurants, yoga studio’s, gas station, CVS & a Supermarket.
This location is always clean and always smells clean but it is a little too small for my overall liking. If you are going to hit up this location on the weekend you better come early to secure a seat. Just like any Starbucks this one is no different people flock, secure their seat and hold onto it. There is outdoor seating available which is nice when the weather is manageable.
As for the service here I have gone in when there was only 1 – 2 people ahead of me and the line moved quickly. Other times I have visited and had the same amount of people in front of me and had to wait an extended period of time for my drink. I have shown up to this location later in the day and walked n to find a line of 10+ people and simply walked out.
I dig this location when it is empty but when there is a line I try and avoid it. I will continue to visit this location when I am in the area for business. I frequent this location to get me some Starbucks and enjoy a meal and do a little shopping all within walking distance of each other.
I support this locations dedication to supporting local activities and community events by allowing patrons to post flyers onto their bulletin board.
The parking lot for the Quail Hill Shopping Center in which this Starbucks is located in is the size of several football fields. No matter the time of day or year you visit you will always be able to secure parking. Just be on the lookout for the bicyclists and their silly clothing zooming through the parking lot=)
