Here’s a long overdue review for this subway.
Love that it’s open 24/​7, very lacking customer service. I always have to ask for more of everything because they barely give you anything in your sandwich. There are one or two workers who are generous, so this review is definition not for them. For the others, though, they kind of just toss some lettuce and other veggies onto your sandwich and look highly irritated when you ask them for more. Most look tired and upset to be working.
Out of all the subways I have ever dined at, I’ve never felt like it wasn’t worth the ~$ 6/​footlong as I did/​do most of the time I come this store.

Use to have really good and friendly service, but now there is a disgusting thick eyebrows boy that has a attitude, makes you fell like not coming back again

My brother and I recently went to this subway out of convenience instead of a different subway that we were used to going to. My brother tried to order a subway club without ham, but the employee said that we had to order a turkey breast with double meat instead which increased the cost of his sandwich by $ 1. After that, I ordered my sandwich toasted, but they ended up toasting my sandwich for 10 seconds less than it should have been toasted. Later we both got fountain drinks and found out that their soda machine was unable to mix drinks properly leaving my brother, who wanted sprite, with a cup of carbonated water. Personally I will not be going to this store again.

Yes, its cheap but isn’t it why we all go there? So lets not give less stars because something is cheap. Great staff, sandwiches are as expected, no fancy, no frill attached place. Pretty fast moving. I am satisfied.

Asked for egg n cheese sandwich but it came out to be turkey egg n cheese.
Dint know avocado is charged extra and they dint even mention that.
Svc was fast, cant say much abt other sandwiches at this location but i dint like the one i tried here.

One time, I had insomnia and I was hungry. I end up here where michael, the homie from LA, asked me what I wanted. At this point in life, I had no idea what my career was going to be like, let alone my sandwich. I ummm’ed and uhhh’ed like a wussy until he suggested I try the new spicy chipotle sandwich. I was like «dude I don’t do spice bro»
He was like «bro…you gotta try this.»
Sold. He even told me to put some hot Cheetos on there for extra flavor. Best idea after. After that sandwich, I knew I wanted to be a fireman. Because my mouth was ON FIYAHHHH. no but seriously it was a good sandwich, the cashier was cool enough to kick it with me and be real, and I only got a mild stomachache from that spicy monstrosity.
Seriously, don’t give a subways 3 stars. It’s a subways man. Be chill with the cashiers, get your foot long and don’t take so long when ordering.

I don’t know why this place gets slammed so hard on Unilocal.The staff has always been crazy-​nice to me (they hand me free cookies like they’re going out of style, ask after my girlfriend, etc), and they make a good sandwich. Yet for some reason I have seen, at this location more than anywhere else I’ve ever eaten, the employees get abused by customers in awful ways. It’s very strange.
Anyway, if you’ve eaten at Subway, you know what you’re getting here food-​wise – it’s no different than any other location (besides the location on the UCI campus, which puts double meat on like every sub because their employees are college kids who DO NOT CARE ABOUT PROFIT MARGINS WOOHOO). What’s notable here is the service, and that’s what keeps me coming back here instead of elsewhere.

I have been here 3 times this past year and each time the food is freezer burnt! I mention this and they laugh and stare at me like it takes a genius to tell them to turn down the thermostat? !! They admit ice all over is not normal, but ignorant attitudes. buckets of green tomatoes=stomach ache and diarrhea! News flash, if tomatoes aren’t ripe yet you don’t put them in a cooler! Set them out on a counter room temperature til ripe. Literally food frozen to the sides of the bucket is ruining this type of food. Try Google for God’s sake!
O ya hiring employees that «don’t like vegetables» =bad sandwich making. …plain insane.

Pretty standard subway experience. The customer service is pretty good, they rip through the line quickly, and it’s pretty clean. There is a lot of room to eat outside. They also give away a free cookie on Tuesdays. If you have never had a subway cookie it’s worth going just for that. For some reason subway cookies are amazing!

I was reminded today why I have not eaten at a Subway in a very long time!
I needed a quick lunch, and I mean like 15 minutes quick. Unfortunately this Subway is the closest fast food joint to my office. The line was long but moved quickly. There were 4 people behind the line preparing the food. The bread, meat, and cheese guy looked at me and said ”Ok, you, what do you need?” Well I NEED a sandwich I guess on white bread with turkey and American cheese. My lunch then slide to the next person in line. He did not even look up at me but heard him mumble «veggies?» Lettuce, peppers, and pickles-​that is all. My sandwich was already not looking so good. Once again slid down to another person who did not look at me with the mayo bottle in her hand. Mayo-​Mustard? Both please. Every one knows ²⁄₃ mayo and ¹⁄₃ mustard. She got that turned around-​she must be a mustard person. I then asked for Oil & Vinegar. At this point, she looked at me!!! I do exist! However, she continued to put my sandwich on the wrap paper so I asked again-​can I get oil and vinegar on that? I know she heard me because she was looking right at me. She ignored me and continued with wrapping my sandwich with NO oil and vinegar. Ok whatever, I didn’t need it that bad, I’m in a hurry. Another guy rang me up without acknowledging me… of course! Seems to be the norm here. I handed him my card when I saw the total on the little screen. He slid it and handed it back to me with my receipt.
Then I walked out with a mediocre mustard sandwich feeling like I wasn’t even worth looking at, never to return again! :(

3.5 stars. Pretty standard. Not much to say about Subway’s since it’s a franchise. This location tends to be a bit stingier about portions. When I ask for some banana peppers I expect more than like 5 pieces. But service is still fast and food tastes like any other subway’s I’ve been to.

I’m shocked how many negative reviews there are of this place. I came here twice in the last few weeks and had pleasant experiences. I went in and was greeted by a nice worker, got my tuna sandwich to-​go as always and left. It was just like any other Subway, except this location is a bit small. It was very clean, no problems at all. There is plenty of parking, and tables outside.

Lame

The portions here suck! I got the meatball marina, the amount of meatballs in the sandwich were okay BUT when it came to putting the other ingredients they were so STINGY! Maybe it’s because they were near UCI and they were expecting a big rush later… but still! I had to ask for EXTRA lettuce and tomatoes and when she grabbed the tomatoes she grabbed ONE SLICE –_​_​_​_​_​_​– are you serious man?
Service sucked too, went back up to the register to get a cup of water and I ended up waiting about ten minutes for a cup of water. The two employees were just chilling in the back of the store, it was not until the store got crowded that they came out. I understand if a employee wants to take a break, but there should at least be one employee at the register. A customer should not wait ten minutes just to get a cup.
Got the $ 5 footlong which is usually a good deal but at this place it was meh. I love subway, but this specific location sucks, go to the one on barranca instead: D they hella stuff that sandwich.
