Of all the Dickey’s restaurants I’ve been to, this is by far the best location to get some beef and/or pork brisket. As FM Smoke House near me has shut down unexpectedly after almost 2 years of service, this is my next go-to restaurant for BBQ stuff. The customer service was excellent, the staff was very friendly, what more is there to say?

I have eaten at this location several times it is very inconsistent. Today I had a brisket chopped sandwich and fries. The brisket was moist and tough in different parts of the meat. The fries were cooked so hard there wasn’t any potato left. So basically I had some seasoned chips. I am still giving it a three star because the staff is friendly; their customer service is always consistent. The place is very clean and although it gets a little busy around lunch time the tables are cleaned very quickly.

Not Always Consistent. The last few times I have eaten here were just OK. Ate dinner here last Thursday with my older son who lives in New Orleans. I live in Los Angeles and we come to Dallas for business. Both he and I ordered the three meat combo. I ordered the spicy sausage, brisket and ribs. I got pulled pork and not the brisket. My son got the pulled pork, brisket and sausage. The pulled pork was mushy, my ribs consisted of one rib and a very over cooked burnt tiny end rib. Sausage was ok. My sons brisket was good. Not sure I will come here again. Maybe I’ll just sneak in, use the men’s room and grab a free ice cream cone on the way out. UPDATE: As requested, I did send them my telephone number and email. I never received a response.

Unfortunately I was not able to eat at this local Dickey’s due to an unfortunate event. However the people were so very nice and I only wish that I had the chance to try this location. The customer service was great including management. For this reason I give them 5 stars and recommend them to anyone who enjoys dining with great customer service.

This is my first time visiting this Dickey’s, and I expected much better! As far as atmosphere, it was great; service was great. Food was mediocre; I got a 2 meat plate with brisket and polish sausage, fried okra(was given a small portion that was VERY salty), and green beans(that tasted like boiled onions). For the price, I was hoping for better. I will stick with Spring Creek or Hard eights.

Ive been to a couple diffrent Dickey locations, most are just ok. This location is something specail. They add love into the food here and you can really taste the difference. The staff is always nice, the food is always fresh and I give it 5 stars all day!

Anyone looking for a quick BBQ fix will not be disappointed by Dickey’s. The various meat options allow you to pick and choose the perfect combination. The meat on the ribs are tender and fall right off the bones, for those that appreciate the smooth texture of a well-cooked rack. The options for sides are not as impressive, specifically their macaroni and cheese, but the apple cobbler dessert is certainly tasty. I think I might like Dickey’s better than Red Hot & Blue…

A good restaurant for satisfying the BBQ lover in all of us. Standouts are the ribs and pork; that’s why you came here anyway… But the fried okra(cooked per order) and Caesar salad were great too. Then there’s a delicious apple cobbler… Sweet but not too sweet– perfect. Nits to pick? The lemonade at this location seems really weak, and the stamped steel forks are pretty bendy. I.e., just minor stuff. Friendly staff, clean as a whistle.

Went here since it’s the closes BBQ. Overall it was not so bad. The sauce wasn’t sweet but just right.

Past reviews are right on the money. Meat is dried out. Sides are blah. I will not be back here ever again and I recommend others avoid it as well. I gave 2 stars because the customer service was great. I got their rib special and had to go through 2 slabs to find 4 ribs that weren’t as dry as the desert. I was here at 430pm. Seems like they were trying to rid themselves of the lunch meat and sides. I also got sliced brisket and that was just passable. Like I said, if it wasn’t for the great service it would have gotten only 1 star. Avoid this location. This is not your typical Dickeys. At least I hope not.

Dickey’s has one of the best BBQ selections of any restaurant and their sausage is incredible. Dickey’ also has great BBQ sauce that they keep heated for customers.

This might be the worst«BBQ» I’ve ever had. So, I’ve been watching«House of Cards’. Have you seen it? Anyways the main character gets these ribs from some local joint, and he raves about them. I like ribs, but I never get a craving for them. Well, Sunday night comes and I need to eat. I look up «ribs» on my Unilocal app; a few places are closed, but this one is open. Knowing it’s sacrilege to eat BBQ from a chain restaurant, I go anyway. It’s a cafeteria /buffet style setup; you grab a tray and silverware at the beginning and either ask or take what you want. I got a ½ rack of ribs. With sauce. 2 sides — mac n cheese and mashed potatoes. This and a coke was $ 20. Wow — but hey, maybe the ribs are worth it? They are NOT worth it. These might be the worst ribs I’ve ever had. You know how ribs have that strip of meat on the top? It lays cross-ways against the direction of the bone? Inedible. It was as tough as leather — impossible to eat. Buried inside was MAYBE some rib meat — but holy moly was there a lot of cartelidge and broken bones here. It was really quite gross. I was still hungry after eating the«ribs» and thank god the mac and cheese was edible, barely. The mashed potato casserole thing was not worth it either. I was so upset at having lost my $ 20 to this poor excuse for BBQ. I had this big craving, which I STILL have, for good ribs, and this place let me down. While I’m eating, staring at me in the face is their printing on the napkins; «For use only when there is no hope of saving that bit of our perfectly seasoned BBQ!» No. It was far from perfect. It was terrible. It’s worth letting them keep the twenty bucks just so I can write this review and warn people to never go here.

Is it the best barbecue in the world? No, but it’s still pretty tasty. It was super slow at lunch when my guy and i went, and the guy carving the meat was nice. It was a little after the lunch rush, and the sides didn’t look particularly appealing. They tasted all right though. The brisket was a little tougher than I like,

In terms of BBQ not that great. There are better BBQ places out there. I only went here because the place I wanted to go wasn’t available, and this was the closest thing. The meat isn’t that great in terms of softness or seasoning. The variety of sides were not that impressive either. They had waffle fries which I thought was weird for a BBQ place. If you want good BBQ avoid this place and go somewhere else.

I eat here weekly, it’s the only Dickey’s that doesn’t play annoying country music all the time. So while it’s a little out of the way, it’s worth the drive. Food is always hot and plentiful even when it’s not busy. Staff are always super friendly. Food is always good. Some claim the BBQ is only so so, and while they might not be wining awards, the food is always consistent which is more than you can say for most BBQ places, in my opinion it’s worth the money. Plus not many other BBQ places have as many sides as you can get here. And the sides are delicious.

Our training center is near this Dickies. I slip out whenever I can. Its not the best, but pretty consistent, and thats good enough for me.

Forgetting breakfast meant I needed a HUGE lunch. I got the two meat plate with ribs and sausage. Both meats were good. I like that the bbq sauce is served warm. The sides are left out buffet style. I went for the waffle fries. My mind told me ‘no’ but my body said ‘YESSSSS!!’. As one might imagine, the fries were cold. Cold fries suck. Included ice cream is awesome. Do they cancel each other out? You be the judge.

I ordered a catered lunch from Dickeys for my team at work. Great experience. The manager kept in touch via email and had everything ready for me when I came in to pick up. He even was sure to pack the cold items last, so everything cold stayed cold and everything hot stayed hot. Very organized and efficient, which I can really appreciate. We ordered beef, sausage, beans and potato salad. YUMMMMY!!! Great portions for a great deal. And my team loved every bite. We’ll definitely give them a call again soon!
