I would give zero stars but that’s not an option. This place has 30 workers and no service. It took 30 min to order food. Then after ordering were advised its cash only. They didn’t have what ordered to drink at first. What should’ve been an hour dinner was almost 3. We tried to get our tab and it took 30 min and then we got up and had to ask for it. We had to approach our waitress to get more drinks. I would recommend never going here! Management was horrible!

Went there for a late night dinner. Decent prices and the wings and fries were really good.

I just reread the review its was a manager acting in that manner. I can’t believe the customer service at this place.
I was witness to the review the other customer posted on Friday. I was near this scene wear the gentlemen was asking some other associated person to pay for some lost paying patron. It was very entertaining yet not sure why the guy thought she was responsible. I’m glad my friend paid

One of the worst customer service experiences from the manager himself.
I work in the building next door and had a late Friday, but wanted to get a drink so I walked over to this location. I was with a friend and we showed up at 6pm. We saw a couple of co-​workers there and joined them, although they had been there since 4pm.
Two drinks in, the waitress comes over to us and asked me and my friend if we knew where one of our co-​workers had gone to. We said no (we werent really with the just happened to sit at the next table, had some conversation, etc). She informed us that this person hadn‘t paid their bill and left. I offered to pay if it was reasonable but it was $ 54! I said no way. Sorry. Not my problem.
We had just ordered our appetizers when a large african american gentlemen came out, claiming to be the boss and said we would have to pay our co-​workers bill. I told him no! I got there 2 hours after that this person and I wasn‘t a part of that party. I even offered to tip the waitress what she should have made on the jipped tab off my tab. Not good enough. He told us he was cutting us off and kicking us out!!! WTF!!! Disappointing, but we gladly paid our tab – totalling over $ 60+ and left.
Never going back! Letting everyone in our building know! There are way to many great spots around this area. Treating people like this is just unfair and bad for business.

We were in town for a friend’s bachelorette party and ate at The Cellar before going out for the bachelorette shenanigans. I had some sort of BBQ chicken sandwich with sweet potato fries, which were AWESOME. Some of the best I’ve had. The perfect amount of crisp on the outside and soft on the inside.
We had a pretty big group of about 10 – 12 girls and had good service too, which is always a plus. Our server mentioned that he was new, but he did a great job!

I thought I would give this place another try after having a very bad experience with the dining portion of the business. That was a mistake, I waited 12 minutes only to have the waitress ignore me. Bartenders are good, however I drank two drinks that tasted like dish soap. Usually that means they’re not rinsing properly. I would order in bottles. Management seems to care more about socializing than taking care of the operation. Tried contacting them on Facebook in an honest attempt to help them improve their business… no response whatsoever. There are however, several employees that are truly embarrassed for the performance of the operation as a whole. They are doing their best, but they don’t have much to work wiith when other employees are so inept. That includes the management. Good place if you live close, like I do.

The worst service I have ever had. Food was all wrong. Party of around 12 each and every meal was brought out wrong and at least three times each !! 1 ½ hours and they still couldn’t get it right. Manager never took the bull by the horns and fixed it they just continued to incorrectly bring all meals out incorrect! Worst place I have ever eaten at !

Service is lousy and the food is average. But they do have the Golden Tee so they have that going for them.

Found this place on Unilocal.Read the reviews while waiting for someone to come by and take our drink order. And the reviews were correct, service was really slow. We had finished our first drink, and I drink slow, because I was playing tourist. It was a really nice night and we sat on the patio close to the channel.
First impression from the outside main door was good, well lit, neon open sign. There was no one upstairs and the sign stated wait to be seated. With no one around and the only direction was down, we started down the dark stairs, good thing I came in sober. The dark narrow stairs were scary. When we got to the bottom, still no one was there to greet us. The busboy told us we can sit where we wanted. The large inside room had only a few occupied tables. We went outside to the patio. Almost all tables were occupied outside. When we finally got to order our drinks we asked for a menu to order food. The drinks came at the same time as the menu. My drink was weak and the service was slow. We were hungry but by the time she showed up again to take our order, I was ready to leave and eat somewhere else. We did tell her she took too long as we asked for our tab. She apologized and said she was the only one serving.
If you are not in a hurry this is a nice place to hang out. I would come back again for the ambience.

Good prices, decent beer selection. Staying at fancy hotel across the street for work. I’m not a fancy girl and was pleasantly surprised to find this place. Not a dive but good music and interesting people. I had buffalo chicken salad and a Shiner Bock. Better than zaxbys or Applebee’s for similar price. Lots of stairs to get down to dining area and they aren’t well lit so be careful! Good happy hour prices. Bartender Jaime was very helpful.

Bartender couldn’t make a rum runner or any other mixed drink we requested. The cocktail waitress had no idea what we were ordering either. Just, wow! Music was depressing. Food took forever. Service took forever just to get refills on sodas because we couldn’t get liquor drinks. Atmosphere being on the patio was nice. It’s sad because this place should be hopping. Good location and has the right stuff to make it but they need a strong manager… Good luck making it guys. This might be a 3^rd generation restaurant soon due to poor management.

Service was terrible and they were out of most of their food items and alcohol! They have a specialty drink menu and they had none of the means to make ANY of the drinks. The bartender also clearly gave no shits about any of it either…
Their salsa is THE WORST SALSA I’VE EVER HAD IN MY LIFE! It tasted like sprite and I’m not sure how that happens. How do you mess up salsa?
Customers kept coming inside to complain about not being served outside on the patio.
Update: a server is complaining about «stupid customers» at the bar… in front of other customers

I would say it is impossible to give this place more then two stars… Service is less then fair. Not sure how the drinks are yet — 20 min later I’m still waiting for mine. They gave us a late night menu at 6pm on a Sunday. It had 4 – 5 choices. Three of the choices were chicken but they were out of chicken… So soft pretzels or quesadilla.
PS — I’m still without a drink and done with my review.
Update! My drink came 30 seconds before my food… But I’m still waiting for napkins and silverware.
Update 2! Half the table finish eating… But we got our silverware! Score!
Update 3! One person in the party ordered a Manhattan. Definitely was not even close to Manhattan. I think it was an ok’d fashioned but it was red.
Update 4!!! Ate some of my food. It wasn’t the worst. Maybe ³⁄₁₀ but didn’t finish it. Just realized two people at the table didn’t get food yet.
Update 5!!! Myself and another person ordered quesadilla. One of the guys that didn’t get food yet also ordered a quesadilla. He just got it… 20 min later after everyone was done eating.
This is def once and done for me.

Cool spot to go after work. They have very reasonable drinks prices and the drinks are very good. My office has happy hours there every month and the appetizers are really good.

Staff was very attentive even on a cold night when they were short staffed. Jessica and Maya worked together to keep things running smoothly. Potato skins were really good! Also liked the chili bbq sauce on the boneless wings. They were out of the house Cabernet but happily substituted one of the name brand vintages at no additional cost.

Great place, great prices, really good food and even in a super busy day the service was outstanding. Good Job

I’m giving an extra star for the first bar that I’ve found in this area that I feel wasn’t trying to rip me off on beer prices. Looking at you Champps. I came during happy hour. Took me awhile to find parking as they are doing construction on this street and my gps told me it was on the other side of the street lol. Parked in the parking garage. Got my ticket to get validated. You have to go down lots of steps to get to the Cellar (aka the name). Just something to keep in mind if you plan to have a few drinks and need to go back up them.
Bartender was nice and reasonablely attentive as I was the only person sitting at the bar. I ordered a personal size cheese fry and personal size chicken quesadilla. Glass of house chardonnay (not good). The cheese fries were ok. Not sure why they put mixed cheese and then queso on top of that. Seems like overkill to me and makes the fries a little soggy. The chicken quesadilla was awful. The chicken tasted overcooked and dry. I tried taking it home and warming it for lunch the next day. Inedible. The beer selection is ok here. A few craft beers mostly in bottles. I wish places like this wouuld likst their craft beer selections on their website. Save some of us time. Stone IPA 5.50 and most of the beers fell along those price lines. No discount for happy hour except domestic garbage (miller, bud) so not worth a must visit for happy hour in my opinion. Most seem to have stopped after work for a drink or 2. Saw very few folks eating. Now I know why.

Went here after flying in from San Diego,
A Friday night, wasn’t very busy, bar tender was a great conversation, I got Brisket Sliders and sweet potato Frys. The brisket was not good at all, was very disappointed. Everything else was good though.

All 3 stars go to the location Period. If you are trying to impress someone say a business client or a first date, this is your place. If you are trying to kick it and have a good time, keep walking; the food is delivered quickly but the drinks are super slow and not that good (for the price). Being a friday evening, there seemed to be some confusion amongst the staff as we were served by 3 different waitresses.
Its a nice place and I think we may have gone on an off night! Definately will check it out again soon!

On a Friday night in Las Colinas, we expected at least some nightlife, but we couldn’t find much going on. Perhaps we were looking in the wrong spots, but the one active spot we found was The Cellar and we were pleased with the find.
They have a nice patio on the man-​made Riverwalk which is a nice touch. Not quite the same as a natural body of water, but better than no water.
We shared an appetizer sampler which was good (tex-​mexy/​bar-​style) and had a couple of Shiners.
I’d return if we were in the area.
