The Resort At Valley Ranch

OMG! Worse place ever. I should have taken the reviews under serious advisement but I just thought the people were disgruntled. i knew something was wrong when the apartment I wanted to rent was never available to view. They showed me an apartment and told me it was the same set up as the one I’d be renting. The day before move in, I was able to view the apartment. It was small with almost no cabinet space. I checked the drawers, the cabinets, and every nook and cranny because of the various review commenting on pest. I sucked it up and moved in because I had no other options at that point.
I won’t go into my move day one but as soon as I tried to get settled, my new house guest made their presence known. I turned on the facet in the kitchen and the nozzle sprayed from the sides. I submitted a repair request with other issues that I was having. I had all sorts of beetles, roaches, and spiders and other weird creatures come from everywhere. I think they live under the carpets. I had some bug spray and sprayed every corner, and along the walls before bed. The next day, I had about 20 dead bugs in the bathroom and a few more in living room.
I went to the office to complain and they said that they would have someone come out, when… who knows. I can’t see myself doing a year in a place like this. I still have most of my stuff boxed up. I can deal with the limited cabinet space but the bugs must go. I have never lived in a place where bugs just roam free during the day and night in a home. I’m over it! I knew I should have just bitten the bullet and paid more for a place with at least covered parking. I’m still in shock! We’re in Valley Ranch, how can you charge so much rent and it’s crackville?!?

PLEASE. do yourself a favor and read the reviews. This place has 5 1 star reviews for a reason! Like hello! This place is a DUMP and management is horrible!!! Do not waste your time AND money here. Avoid. Avoid. AVOID!!!

Please do yourself a favor and don’t rent here. I can’t believe the amount of times they decide to just turn off your water for ENTIRE DAYS at a time with zero notice. On top of that you will be the one paying for outrageously large water bills due to the numerous leaks they have that they are «working on fixing.» I’m so fed up. I feel absolutely conned into leasing here due to the water issue and all the extra fees you have to pay– I have never lived anywhere that has charged the tenant for HOA fees for instance.

ABOSLUTELY TERRIBLE! I have lived here for 1.5 years and the only reason I am still here is because my house is being built. We have problems with our drawers all the time coming off their track because they use leftover parts from other things to «create» a temporary solution. Twice they have come to fix, continues to break. The WATER ISSUE IS NO JOKE!!! They have shut it off for the entire day ATLEAST 20 times in my 1.5 years here. Today, no notice at all and it has been off from ?? (I noticed at noon) and as of 9pm it is still off. DO NOT RENT HERE!!!

WARNING… DO NOT RENT FROM THIS PLACE!!! They cut off our water without letting anyone know. When trying to place a service call after hours, there isn’t even the option to leave a message! WTH!!!
They charge you a monthly fee for pest control but I have never even had a notice that pest control was going to service my apartment. The water issue… Not the first time… Not the second time. Nor the third. Or fourth… Do you see a pattern here? This place is poorly managed! Save yourself the headache and look elsewhere.
