This place can NEVER get an order right. No salt in fries not that hard. Fries are never fresh burgers are always cold.

My friend and I got two fried lemon pies with our order. I normally love the lemon pies at What-A-Burger when I have gotten them before at other locations, and had raved to my friend about them. We went thru the drive thru, and when we got back to the office and ate our lunch, and took out the lemon pies, they were hard as lumps of clay, with the filling completely hardened and congealed. All we could do was throw them in the trash. They had obviously been sitting there under a heat lamp for several days. Who knows how long it takes something to get that hard and disgusting. Very disappointed. The other food was fine.

Really sad stuff here. My husband and I live 4 – 5 minutes away, so we do some late-night runs when we’re short on dinner fixings at home, or we just feel like a quick burger. We ate here for a straight week when we first moved into our new apartment, so I think we’ve had enough experiences with WaB to judge it fairly. Probably once in all these times has everything been hot and fresh. The rest of the time, the burgers have been cold when we get them home, or the fries were DOA. The last visit, last night, was disastrous. We sat in line for TWENTY minutes; hubby assumed it was one of the vehicles in front of us that caused the gridlock but, as soon as we got to the speaker to order, I knew it was the employee causing the havoc. The woman taking our order couldn’t even form an intelligible sentence(think Charlie Brown’s teacher: Wah-WAH, Wah-wah-wah-wah) and had to repeat our order to us no FEWER than EIGHTTIMES, still trying to speak to us as we rounded the corner to approach the window. I told hubby, she’s going to ask us our order again, and he just looked at me like I was crazy. Sure enough, when we got there, she repeated our order AGAIN, but repeated it incorrectly. Thought hubby would lose his mind. We’d ordered a soda and a shake, but we were told the machine was down. Which machine – the soda machine, or the shake machine??? Nothing on the menu board to tell us either way. All told, a HALFHOUR in line. We ended up chewing on the blessedly hot fries on the way home, then unwrapped the rest only to be greeted by a cold, charred leather disk on a bun. Lovely. We will be rethinking our runs to WaB, and may take a greater interest in the Chick Fil A a bit closer to us. Just not worth the effort and, with each time we visit, the quality and service drop lower and lower.

I’ve been to this WB plenty of times. This is the first time this WB has completely screwed up our order. First they give us «junior» drinks with our meals(a #1& #6) –WTF?! Then we get home and our orders aren’t even correct. They made the burgers with everything on them when we didn’t want that. The guy even repeated it back to us correctly… How did it get screwed up between then!!! Ughhhhhhh the only thing they got right during this transaction was giving us spicy and regular ketchup.

We experienced great service and the burgers and fries were exactly how we ordered and fresh! This is the only location we really like and eat at in Irving

I don’t expect much from a fast food restaurant, so I can’t complain when I get shitty service. Either way I’m doing it, these teenage kids are to lazy and just flat out don’t care about the customer. Drive thru — asked for a kids meal and requested a cookie, once we arrived at the window we asked to switch cookie out for fries, apparently«this can’t be done» according to the teenage girl, not sure why if the price won’t change? Just to piss her off we asked to speak to the manager, he switched it out for us. Surely knowing this can be done, the dumb kid rolled her eyes and stepped away from the window so the manager could help us. Seriously parents teach your kids some manners. This rating is based on the customer service nothing against the food.

We were going to IHOP for breakfast. but it was mid morning on a Saturday… the line was out the door!!! So Whataburger was next door. and I needed some coffee. It has been a long time since I was at a Whataburger for breakfast. I ordered coffee and a breakfast. 2 eggs, 2 bacon, Biscuit, and hash brown sticks… The server said. we have great coffee… AND she was RIGHT! Also when I ordered biscuit, I asked for honey. She said would you like the honey packets or fresh honey butter… mmmmmm… that honey butter was off the hook! It was really good. So was the coffee and the breakfast… I would do it again. anytime… Thank you.

Went here today for lunch, greeting was great, the cashier was upbeat, friendly, and willing to serve. Only thing is I asked for a #5 combo, and only got a burger and drink. I guess I didn’t need the fries, outside of that no complaints.

This is my go-to Whataburger. It helps that the restaurant is close to home. The staff is always friendly. I dig that the employees deliver the food to your table along with that freakin’ delicious spicy ketchup. On my most recent visit, I had the new guacamole bacon burger(with jalapeños added). It was a warm and tasty monstrosity of a burger.

Service was really slow here. I remember when whataburger burgers were hot and fresh. This was just a plane and dry burger. I got 2 of them. So sad. What happen to the quality of the burgers :-(

I had never heard for«Whataburger» before I moved here. I had high hopes. I saw a commercial on TV the other day and they made this stupid chicken strip sandwich look SOGOOD — I had to get it! So last night I was driving around like I always do and decided to give it a whirl. Nice older guy took my order. That chicken strip sandwich on toast, fries, and what the heck — an «apple pie». They give you a number and you sit down and they bring it to you. It took awhile to get my food, and you’d think«boy they must be making if fresh» but you’d be wrong. The guy comes over and brings me my food — and he also has a tray of ketchup packs and napkins and stuff — cute. Like the 50s. Not that you’d remember. Or me. Anyhow my point is — that sandwich I so deserperately wanted was lukewarm. Nearly cold. WICKED disappointing. The fries were actually awesome — like McDonalds fries back before they changed them — and yes they changed them. They used to rock now they suck. The«apple pie» was awesome in that it was that gross molten lava hot egg roll apple pie that McDonalds used to serve, which I actually miss and love. So, the standout was the fries and weird apple pie. The sandwich was tasty but the fact that it was near-cold bugged me. Next time I’ll try a burger and see how they do — but for now — 2 and a half stars.

Went because I was in Irving and was a bit hungry and wanted to see why so many people I was seeing around had whataburger food. first off I should have walked back out the door after I walked in and went first to the restroom I finished and was drying my hands after washing them when an employee who was using urinal after me just finished and walked straight out with out washing his hands at all. Then I followed him out and he went straight back to work ugh… thankfully he wasn’t the one handling my burger. but still I was wondering already… Now I HAD to watch the others working on my burger to see what they did… thankfully they used gloves but I don’t want to think how long they’ve been using them. Anyway the burger was not very noteworthy I could have gotten one at a 7-Eleven that would have been just as good I think. the fries were cold I now know I won’t be going back to any Whataburger anytime soon there are other places that are much better.

Only because at the time we were stuck in Dallas, Texas(Due to a major snow-storm brewing in DC at the time) with no luggage, no car we ended going to the only fast food restaurant within walking distance — we ate here. Of course after standing in the long lines at the airport for 4 hours trying to find out if we could even get a flight out hunger of course tends to strike, especially past 10pm. Ack! This place was«connected» to a gas station joint. Fancy! At the time, I still ate beef, I ended up ordering their typical and average tasting #1 «Whataburger» which came with regular fries(literally«regular» taste) and a drink. Everything on the menu seemed to be named«Whata-something» First and last time. In & Out is much tastier if you ask me.
