The pizza isn’t anything special and the owner is a passive aggressive prick. Go here if you enjoy eating shitty average pizza and being made to feel like a freeloader by the owner because you asked for the lunch special at 12:30 on a Saturday. I then sit and eat my pizza to watch someone steal the«lunch special» sign off the front window. Then when I went to alert an employee that someone stole their sign, he replied saying that it was the owner and that they don’t have the special available on the weekend. I asked why didn’t he just said it wasn’t available or you know maybe put a little more detail onto his sign? I have visited this place regularly and have often watched the owner bitch and fight with his customers. Their crime was they wanted to order the lunch special too late in the day. In his words they were idiots for trying ordering a lunch special at 5pm. No good sir you are the idiot for not putting those details on your advertising.

A pizza from Nick is one of the great joys of life! Not too thin and not too thick, with delicious cheese and sauce: you really can’t get any better pizza in Westchester. My wife and I always take the extra time to go here, even though we pass a bunch of other pizzerias on the way. We both love this place, and Nick!

2 stars.1 for the nice delivery guy and 1 for the salad. Did I catch Nick’s on a bad day? This was the first time I had ordered from them. The baked ziti was tasteless probably because the sauce was tasteless. Sorry but this was the worst ziti ever. How can such a simple dish be so awful.

I had amazing gluten free pizza the other day in Irvington and when I saw the delivery menu for this place I thought it was the same. Tragically, I was mistaken. I ordered a gluten free pizza and it was awful. It seemed like something an ex-boyfriends mother who claimed to have been Italian would have made. Completely soggy with a couple token pieces of ham and pineapple thrown on as an afterthought(we ordered it Hawaiian). It was barely palatable and they were lucky we were hungry or I would have called and complained. The only saving grace was their chicken wings and sauteed broccoli were good. Would not order from here again.

It’s pretty average pizza, average price, nothing special. If you’re close by it will do for a slice, but don’t go out of your way or anything. There’s plenty of similar places around. Nick(or his employee working at the time) is a surly jerk, though.

Nick’s has the most restaurant-feel with a warm environment to sit and eat in Irvington. It is the most convenient of all four pizzerias in the town, as it sits in the heart of town and is open the latest. Monday through Thursday it is open from 10 A.M. to 10 P.M. On Friday and Saturday it is open an extra hour and on Sundays it opens at noon. The plain slice cost $ 2.75 and was served in a Guinness Book of World Records fastest time of one minute and nine seconds. We hardly had time to say«pizza» before it was given to us. It was served so fast that we in fact became younger while waiting. The barriers of space and time were fragmented in the warp speed in which the pizza was served. Unfortunately, the speed in which it was served did not correlate to the taste, as it was the most peculiar flavor. In the past, Irvington Pizzeria served a slice that was miles ahead of the newly commandeered Nick’s Pizzeria. The sauce had a tangy flavor which was unique, but not in a good way. It smelled and tasted like the crust had some form of spice in it, potentially cinnamon or nutmeg. This was a huge let down.

The former Irvington Pizzeria closed down and Nick’s has reopened in its place. They’ve expanded the menu and seem to be doing a great job. Good pizza(not NYC, but good for the ‘burbs) and seem like good guys.

Excellent place — finally this family is back in the pizza business! I grew up on their pizza and food at a different location but they sold it about 7 or 8 years ago. When I walked in here and actually saw them running the joint, I almost shed a happy tear. The food is very tasty and they are friendly people.
