Decent food. Decent service and nice décor. Have kept their standard of very decent food for decades. But food is too pricey for the quantity they give. There are much better restaurants in the area. and I have seen server buy food in bulk from other restaurants in the area to sell here?

The food here is really good and the service is courteous and prompt. We ordered the samosa chaat, chana bhatura, and the Chowpatty thaali. The first two were good. The thaali was great! Every item was really flavorful. We ordered the Kaaju Karela for our elective veggie, and I must say it was really really good.

Also the chowpatty sweet shop has amazing selections ‚ — pan mithi being my favorite-​they re did the sweet shop looks like. Ambiance is nice, clean with great service !

It’s no Chowpatty like Mumbai but definitely better than other chat places in the area. Take the groupon deal, it’s definitely worth it.

The food isn’t amazing, but it’s not bad either. It’s your typical stop for Indian snacks. I ordered the pau bhaji which was good, but the flavor was pretty bland. There’s other restaurants in the area that are much better.

Great Indian food! It’s vegetarian and doesn’t disappoint. Their dosas are great, love the one with spices and the potato filling is flavorful. I usually always get their samosa chaat as well, with a mango lassi. Pretty cheap, and filling!

Their food is certainly tasty. I’ve been there about four times now and each time the food was good. This restaurant is a bit pricy compared to others around with similar menus. Recently went again with a Groupon and saved a decent amount of money. The groupon made it worth it.
Couple of the dishes I really liked were the Dosa and the Thali. The Thali, which contains multiple food items, was AMAZING. I think i was in a food coma for about 24 hours after eating the whole thing. Dosa is one of my favorite foods so everywhere I go I always try it. If the Dosa is bad I don’t return. But these guys make a good Dosa and keep me coming back.

I have been enjoying Chowpatty’s food and service for 20 years. Their bhel, corn kachori, sev puri, and pav bhaji are my family’s favorite dishes. Efficient, professional, polite service is standard. The food never disappoints. Hands down the best place in the area!

Horrible pervert staff with a very cheap attitude. While the food is decent, the staff looks to be really third grade. I’d been here with my family consisting of some female members as well and they way the staff was staring at them was outright ridiculous. This was the second time this happened on equal number of visits which makes me feel this was not an exception. To add to this they seem to lack common sense. For a set of 4 corn/​bajra rotis, we asked for 2 corn and 2 bajra rotis which they outright denied. On asking for the reason, they were unbelievably rude. The management really needs to put place in a more humane staff

We went 3 to 4 times to this place in last 2 months during snacks time.
Food is really good and prices are bit costly.
If they can adjust the price, am sure more people will turn in.
Customer service is good and they are quick.
All chat items are good… we tried atleast 4 to 5 items…

Went and had just samosa chat milkshake and coffee we just had one spoon of samosa chat and couldn’t eat more as it was so bad and the coffee had old milk or its a powder it is filled with layers of cream. i never take risk eating in these type of places.

Found a small dead roach in one of the appetizers and 1 big one near the walls. Had to argue with the manager as he was shameless enough to look the other way. I wish I had taken photos that time to post it on this website. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE !

This place is still the shiz after all these years! The service and décor are as exciting as a cardboard box so don’t expect anything fancy. But the food is delish! Make sure you get the pani puri and pav bhaji. My only beef is that the filling for the dosa was on the paltry side. But I would definitely recommend nonetheless.

We went into Chowpatty just expecting to get a quick post-​lunch dessert and left with $ 37 worth of sweets! The cashier and the employees were very friendly and patient while we took our time ordering.
They offer samples on the counter so you can taste each type of sweet before ordering it. Though my family has a long history with Indian sweets, I myself don’t have as much a taste for or experience with them. I’ve never seen samples offered in the few sweets stores I’ve visited in India or NYC, and according to my sister who is much more knowledgeable in this field, this is not common practice. That’s why I feel that this place is especially awesome for rookies to the Indian sweet world, like me, since customers can get a sense of what they are ordering and feel safe in trying new things!
Even without this detail, the sweets were delicious and the employees are very helpful. I would recommend this sweet shop!

So this was the only spot open that night. And this is the place I fell in love with Dhokla! I have been trying to make this since as it is never as fluffy! But I can’t wait to come back and try this again because the combination dish with this was simply delish! (I like how they tried to decorate their wall with the scenery painting.)
