A terrific experience after a horrible one at the Radio Shack in south Seattle. I bought a tablet at the south Seattle Radio Shack and a friend discovered there was a gap in the frame 2 weeks later. I had my receipt and every bit of the packaging. I had the product for 2 weeks. Brian the manager was rude. He asked if I had a warranty I did not purchase a warrenty. He refused to take it back. We don’t take back defective goods he said. Now the good part! I then went to the Radio Shack in Issaquah where Brice the manager and Dylan the Assistant Manager and even new employee Casar could not do enough for me and replaced the product! Dylan even drove out to the Sammamish store to get a copy of the product while I waited. I had only 30 – 40 minutes and he made it back in time with the product. Amazing kind patient customer service! Totally empathetic. They informed me I had been sold a Demo by the south Seattle store which is not done and that Radio Shack south Seattle should have replaced the product. It was well worth the 30 minute drive to this store, even though it is out of my way. Nice going, everyone!

I needed a USB to Serial cable. I asked the dude if I could return it if it didn’t work. He said«As long as you keep the receipt; no prob.» I then stated I was gonna know if it worked in 5 minutes cuz my laptop and truck were right outside. He says«heck, just go see If it works — if it does– buy it.» That’s an example of old fashion service. I like that. As it turns out, I bought it, and also some other gizmo I couldn’t live without. Just goes to show you how a little service can make the bottom line a little better for a business.
